I just bought Taxi2Gate Doha (for P3D v5+) at Simmarket. The description says it's v2, but the file names all say v1. Is this an error? Should I contact Taxi2Gate or Simmarket and tell them?

Hi, I just bought and installed Prepar3d v. 5.3, and I am experincing issues with the new window mode. Let me explain: whenever I move the mouse wheel to move away from the cockpit dashboard, the image shrinks, and when I move closer, it expands, creating an effect which is not natural. I posted on the Prepar3d forum, but no one seems to be able to help me in finding a solution. I tried to use Alt. + Enter to set the window mode, hoping it would fix it, but it does not seem to work. In Prepar3d v.4.5 I used to be able to set the window mode, where I could see the upper white board with the maximize and minimize options, and the task bar visible below. Something I ca…

Hello Everyone! What's the best available F-22 out there for P3Dv5? Is it simply just the default one? If so, how good is that one and what things might not be simulated?

After getting an email about their Black Friday sale, I asked about further development of RDShade for us. Here was their response: "Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately there are not enough users on P3D for us to justify developing further for the P3D platform. If this changes in the future we will definitely return to the platform! I would like to reassign BA aircraft to park at JFK's terminal 8 from 1st December (when terminal 7 closes). Can I do this by just changing the airline code in the GSX gate menu? Thx

Hi Everyone I noticed this scenery was on sale at the moment but it is very old (about 2013 vintage). Just wondering how much this airport has changed in that time and whether it bears any real resemblance to what it is today? would like to do some real world routes in P3D4.5 but also need to be able to shoot realistic approaches etc and taxi to realistic stand locations. Any thoughts?

Hi, I am considering purchasing a Hong Kong (VHHH) airport scenery for P3D v5 and wondered if anyone had some thoughts, experiences on how the WF Scenery Studios scenery compares to the Taxi 2 Gate version? Both were released in the April timeframe this year. I don't have any experience with WF Scenery Studios so this would potentially be my first purchase. What is their quality of their work and support like? From the screenshots, the detail appears to be better in the WF Scenery Studios depiction but you can't always tell at first glance. Hi all- I'm slowly transitioning back to jets after my extended VFR tour with the great A2A aircraft. I'm inclining towards a CRJ to start. I have no CRJ(s) in my hanger and was wondering about those of you who do what you might recommend. I looked at the Aerosoft Pro version which seems pretty nice, with a nice price tag. Just finished an i9 12900k build with an asus strix 3080ti. Going to push the graphics settings to max overall but I did have some questions on FXAA, AA, texture filtering, lighting, etc. Can someone share their recommended max-level settings?

I have been having some problems lately with my flights crashing to desktop. It has gotten to the point of now even being able to get flying before it happens. I think I need to reinstall or repair my installation but I don't want to have to reinstall all my scenery, aircraft and airports or mess up my settings. Is this possible?

So I currently have a 1070 FE and am looking to upgrade my GPU to something better. Does anybody use a 3060 12GB in P3dv5? I realize it is an entry level card, but it has 12 GB VRAM. I keep running into VRAM limitations with the 1070 only being 8 GB of VRAM, but also not sure if I want to drop $800+ on a 3080. I am not running in 4K p3d in 4k so a 3090 seems unnecessary . Thanks

This just started happening to me Tuesday. I would be at an airport, and everything will be fine then I will change the time of day and after the time change takes effect the sim will freeze for 2 or 3 minutes (or longer). I can still change views and I can still pan around in spot view but that is it nothing else works. Also, right after the time change I will see a green message bar at the top of the screen saying, "airport cache has loaded successfully" (I don't think I've seen that message before). After minutes of waiting the sim will unfreeze and everything will be working normally again. What could be causing this? How do I stop it from happening? I did update…

Hi all, noticed there will be a new version of Flight Control Replay (v5) also for P3D. Sounds good and I am an almost satisfied user, but there is still one weird issue I am struggeling: When I am playing back a recorded scene, the speed seems to be a lot too fast. Especially when you are spotting a plane from a special view point (airport fence, for example). This is my favourite view point, and watching the aircraft passing by too fast let me quit the usage of FCR for a long time. Simply reducing the replay speed causes a hard stutter every time...So that's no solution to me. But how are your experiences with the FCR speed? Can anybody maybe confirm an i…
