Actually quite alot. But I will give you one challenge. Try setting up a triple projector curved screen display with warping software. Let us know how you make out.

More than happy with what I have. Just came back from the UK where I tried MSFS2020 on a relative's Desktop. Nice graphics but underwhelming "real" scenery. More like "our interpretation of what the world looks like". I'll stick with ORBX TE, thanks.

That list has been published many times and it's only partial list.  If you really want to "discover" the difference I suggest you try P3D and more importantly look at the P3D SDK/PDK, then compare that to the MSFS SDK ... unless of course you're not really curious?

Again, I recommend you discover the users of P3D.  MSFS doesn't generate real-time weather (50/50 for accuracy and 20% chance it'll be correct at the destination and definitely don't hit pause). P3D provides an SDK/PDK that allows 3rd party to do that work and they have, multiple 3rd party with FAR more experience in weather depiction than what is presented in MSFS.  Still no historical weather which is a must for those of us that want to recreate a flight at any part of the world when we have the time.  Anyway, not sure why I'm responding as you clearly have NOT done any research at all and your world of data seems to be isolated to what you want to believe rather than reality.

Yes, LM has always been about the SDK/PDK and providing developers with the tools to leverage the native capabilities of one's PC rather than a sandbox layer called WASM so as to provide support for hardware limited XBOX.

BTW, tell me what happens when you unplug a USB device while flying along in your game of MSFS?

Read thru the SDK/PDK ... then come back and I'll happily discuss.

Users of P3D do not need to defend their reasons for preferring this sim to any other - especially in their own forum.

If MSFS users persist in challenging them there will be consequences more severe than the verbal warning issued today.

With all due respect, it puzzles me why many people seem to get their knickers in a twist whenever someone is critical of P3D (or any other simulator for that matter). Are we so thin skinned these days that we are unable to deal with stuff like this? I do not really care if an MSFS user challenges anyone's decision to stick with P3D. I have made my own reasons abundantly clear several times, so whatever anyone else says is irrelevant.

From what I've seen (and I brought this up a few days ago in another forum) is that it gives the feeling that MSFS users get "offended" if we say we prefer P3D and then they make the "effort" to explain to you why you're wrong....

The reason I posted is because “my sim is better than your sim” debates invariably get locked. This happens frequently in the XP forum which is far more toxic than here.

I was trying to nip this in the bud to prevent the inevitable and allow discussion of P3D to continue.

I don't see anyone reacting that way, just setting some things straight.

My Interpretation of the survey is that MSFS might be the better sim for most, but not for all people. I don't expect that to change in the foreseeable future.

Just to clarify, My Interpretation of the survey is that MSFS might be the better sim for most MSFS simmers who joined in the survey.  The survey is interesting, but not scientific.  In the end it's nice for those simmers who are interested in the perspective of MSFS simmers (which make up the majority of the hobby at this time).

P3d offers a range of decent long haul aircraft (pmdg and qw) and a polished fsl airbus that can do a proper managed descent (both the fenix and fbw cannot)

problem is ms2020 has some half baked airliners fenix ,captainsim etc etc but it looks amazing you can’t take that away from ms2020 the scenery is awesome.

im truely torn between them both I really am.  They need to bring out a decent payware 330,787 or 777 to ms2020, then you’ll be a big exodus I think.
