  1. Ray Proudfoot's post in Couple of problems with v2.4 build1 was marked as the answer
    Hi Pero,

    1) I have UAC switched off so everything I run is effectively with Admin rights. PM sent.

    2) If I switch off the option to go straight into FSX and display the Free Flight screen it's fine. I haven't tried it without Simstarter running but will do. I normally choose to display the Free Flight screen rather than load a flight directly. It's not so much a sound problem as a display one. FSX just doesn't appear at all but is active hence why I can hear the engines running.

    3) Thanks. I found the option after posting.
  2. Ray Proudfoot's post in BSODs driving me mad! was marked as the answer
A four hour trouble-free flight in Concorde today was enough to convince me the fix from Microsoft has solved my BSOD problem.

Just in case anyone else has this problem here is the link to the solution.

    Jean-Claude,

I appreciate your post but I have the solution in PFPX. I can just enter 5020N01000W and it's accepted as a waypoint.

When I posted my request I wasn't aware of this solution. Perhaps i should mark this as solved.
  4. Ray Proudfoot's post in Multiple CTDs - StackHash, NTDLL.dll, Sim1.dll was marked as the answer
I flew EGKK-LIPZ just now and I have to admit to a certain amount of trepidation as I approached the DIK VOR.

But the aircraft passed the point at which it had caused FSX to crash so many times before so I'm now really happy this StackHash bug looks fixed.

I'm going to mark this a solved and hope it helps others. So just to summarise... StackHash errors for me were caused by corrupt aircraft textures in MyTrafficX. Once those were sorted FSX has been very reliable.
  5. Ray Proudfoot's post in AS6.5 - cannot download weather was marked as the answer
    Yep, working for AS6.5 too.
