Hello pilots. I need help. I have reinstalled P3D 4.5 after my system crash. (Last 4.5 version incl. all hotfixes). Now I have also reinstalled all Milviz aircraft. The F4-E (latest Version 180712) causes a P3D crash. I get when I select the aircraft the cockpit only a few seconds to see. It comes the message P3D has detected an error and will be closed. My question about this: Is there a so-called log file where it says what caused this CTD? Where can I find this file? I would like to send this information to Milviz to get support. Since recently, I can only steer the wheel when fully stopped. I first thought, it is jus one plane, but now I see it´s with any plane. Is it something with FSUIPC? The stick seems calibrated well, the deflection is ok but only when standing still. As soon as it rolls, no effect to the rudder, also not visually. What´s this?

So for some reason I seem to get really low FPS when I try load a flight at KLAX even though I have most graphics set to medium or lower in P3D. I can load a flight at KSFO with the Flightbeam scenery and the PMDG 747 and get around 17-20FPS which isn't great but decent enough to be able to make a flight. However when I load up at FSDreamteam KLAX I can only seem to get around 6-10FPS. Now I admit I did have ORBX Southern California installed at one point but have since uninstalled it even though It didn't seem to make much difference. I also have ORBX Vector and Global installed and have tried lowering their settings as well which seemed to help a little at other airpo…

Hi Guys Being a long time FSX GA flyer i am beginning to use P3D 4.5 more and more, I mainly fly GA and turboprops of the Carenado variety (B1900D in particular). I would love to get into commercial airliners but lately I really struggle learning new things and then get a bit disheartened so I am looking for some recommendations for aircraft that are pretty easy to learn yet have some system depth but not necessarily study level (PMDG way out of my comfort zone) I am looking for something that i can fly for say to three hours short to medium haul Possible candidates are the QW 146 ( used to fly the FSX version long time ago) and maybe the areosoft air…

Yesterday, IniScene announced that it is working on EGLL for MSFS. In addition, in the iniBuilds Discord, they stated that a P3D version is in development too, but that it would come after the MSFS version. Personally, I think the Aerosoft EGLL is decent, but a new entrant can't hurt, especially one that is putting out such interesting products.

Can anyone enlighten me as to the difference between the F35 available in the default P3Dv4 installation, and the IFE Visual Simulations version that can now be downloaded for free (version 3.70 for P3Dv4/5)? I am particulalry interested in the F35B and its STOVL capability.

P3D v5.3HF2 with FlyTampa Montreal installed. Running Radar Contact v4.3. Those of you who use RC4 will know it provides vectors for the approach. This includes the 30 degree intercept heading for the approach and landing. I've used this program for decades but for some unknown reason it's issuing the intercept heading instruction way past the correct position. Look at this map. The black X marks the position where I would expect to be given a heading by RC4 to intercept the localiser for 06R. The red X is the position given by RC4 for the intercept. Does P3D have an Active Pause like MSFS and DCS? If not, it needs to cuz it is extremely convenient when trying to learn a complex aircraft or procedure.

Hey guys, I purchased Cielosim KJAX yesterday on their website (30% discount) and when I go to download the scenery, I get an error saying (Bitly) blocked their download and its "harmful" so I am unable to download the scenery that I just purchased. I sent the developer a message through their website and facebook page, I sure hope they respond promptly, but they havent posted anything on their facebook since 2017......... Otherwise I will be claiming fraud on my credit card if they dont respond! Anyone else have this issue? Probably a long shot

I was going through WSSS from Imaginesim and placing the GSX vehicles and checking the jetways when I got to the lower G gates - G1, G2, G3 when I noticed there is some underlying water coming up. The water is also in the field to the left of the fence. Is this a settings issue or a scenery issue? I have ORBX installed along with a bunch of other addons, but none of the other addons are referencing WSSS or the surrounding area. It looks to me like the elevation of WSSS was raised in P3Dv5.3 thereby causing the water to show through from the unadjusted Imaginesim elevation data. I've only noticed it in this area and have not does a flight in or out of the airport yet. Anyo…

Just recently I stepped over a thread here about Montego Bay by RWY26. Since I don´t have RWY26 Montego Bay and they no longer sell it, I decided to create my own. Starting from FSX version from Art Poole, who gave me permission to use his files, reworked his scenery for Prepar3D. Altitude is set for P3D5, so it may look odd in P3D4 which is slightly lower. While this is likely a minor detail to most, I think control wheel movement in sync with AP commands adds a small degree of realism to flight simming for either P3D, FS 2000 or X-plane. I've found this feature most prevalent in the A2A fleet and the default X-plane aircraft. Can someone explain hgow this feature is accomplished? I imagine it is accomplished at the developers modelling stage but just curious if there might be a config setting. Many trhanks.

Hi, I downloaded all files from flyaway simulation. I want to install it into P3Dv5 sitting in E:\P3D5. I started the installer for volume1 and it only offers me an installation in c:\FSX or P3D which I am not able to change. I did not go further being afraid messing things up. Any help is much appreciated. By the way there was no PDF in the download. Peter I was overlooking the initial installation path where of course I can select a different folder.

Can anyone tell me how far the surrounding scenery (3D objects/autogen/photoscenery) extends beyond the airport boundary? I have never used a Flightbeam airport product before, and I am aware that they are highly regarded by the flight simulation community, so it might be nice to take a look at this one (since it is relatively close to the UK).

I have parts on order for a new build later this week. I will be using ASUS motherboard and in reading the manual there is an option to turn off the e Cores as a way to get better overclock. Does P3D use the e cores or not? Any advise from those using these parts would be appreciated. I am also looking for advice on whether you guys are using Turbo mode and what speed settings for each core. This is strictly for Prepar3d only computer.

Hi, I have this scenery since FSX time (2016) and regularly revisit Narvik... Despite having been in the flight sim world since 1998, I still don't know if the parking position type matters in P3Dv5.3 ... For example, I just downloaded WSSS from Imaginesim and all the gates are marked as type "Ramp Mil Cargo" but have the correct airline codes assigned, and gate numbers. Does this really matter or would AI traffic and/or ATC work better if I went and changed them to type "Gate Small/Medium/Heavy"? I've always tried to keep everything in the correct naming format - mil to mil, cargo to cargo, gate to gate, etc. but if it doesn't matter then why waste time doing it

Has anyone else noticed that FreemeshX causes lots of terrain and scenery issues around Flytampa Dubai Rebooted? Dubai falls under the Asia section of the mesh enhancer so turning it off does indeed seem to fix the issues but equally then you lose all of Asia elsewhere... Wondering if anyone has a fix or suggestion on how to identify the file that causes the issue and maybe i can turn that one off soley and leave the rest active...
