OK, I've outsmarted myself, shut down Onedrive again, turns out it was controlling everything. everything I try to do gets "Access denied, you do not have permission to access Onedrive." I am looking at going to Apple Mac as I am sick of Microsoft. Well I've vented, but can't see that working. The other alternative install a new HDD. All my data files are on 😧 so it is only the sim that will need to be installed. I guess this is where I come accross some 'Maximum number of installs exceeded." The current drive is SSD. Problem, I will have to download the latest Win 11 (with Onedrive attached) no doubt. I figure if I can kill Onedrive immediately after install I should be able to sort things out my way. I appreciate your support.

The file layout is quite different on my PC, so will have to look harder at it. As for Orbx it has died totally, so I will try to uninstall and re-install. Before it died I kept getting errors and it kept saying I did not own any software. Now Simconnect has stopped working and the dash 8 has also died. I am thinking that I have HDD problems. I have used Fortekt but hopeless. The new version of Windows unrecognisable, the interface is unrecognisable. Sorry to burdon you with this but I am having trouble working out the right support centre for the right issues. I might just put a new HDD in and start again, hopefully without Win11. Sorry Ray, The Orbx thing is sorted but still getting the "P3D has detected non sequential layer within the scenery library list."

P3DV5. I don't have Lorbys organiser but I do have Fortek. Had a lot of problems setting up Orbx, but all good now.

Fielder, SInce last Win11 upgrade I have noticed some disturbing things. THere is no desktop as such. have to use the Windows key and select from there. I deleted Onedrive in both the registry and file explorer. Every time I try to save a file I get "Access denied, you do not have permission to access Onedrive." I(t has taken over y fllght simulator files to the extent that the sim is no longer useable. It loads airplane files in the now defunct Onedrive I am not sure about Google AI as I have never used. As it stands I am going to have to give up my flying hobby of 30 years as I can no longer fight Microsoft. Any ideas please? Regards Kevin

There are no files on Onedrive. PMDG for some reason is ling for the XML controller files, but Flight simulator files only work on files within the sim. Onedrive is NOT in the sim. Today a did a total reinstall and now the problem is worse. Now Onedrive is visible on the directory tree and everything I do now tries to save to Onedrive. So I disabled it in the registry, but this time the blasted thing still exists. I have not logged in which so far is stopping it working, accept for the PMDG files which once again has taken over the the xml files. I'm well over this word not allowed. I just want to have files located on MY computer, in a file location of MY choice not on the blasted web. It is not possible no to delete onedrive, only the files on it. Informed of this by Microsoft today. Thanks your your help, but Microsoft needs to accept the fact that not everyone Cloud crazy. Cheers

Thanks Sergey, Problem is Onedrive folder is hidden and can only bee seen via the PMDG xml file loader.

I have had Onedrive created as a hidden folder. It has moved P3d files into this folder so now sim not working. The simulator add ons are not designed to work from external files. Previously I remove Onedrive in the registry but now it returns.

Sometime ago I completely removed Onedrive from the registry so it didn't exist. After the latest Windows upgrade Onedrive has returned as a hidden folder. and transferred most of my files to it. Result is P3d airplane config files are not installing in the folder in the c folder.

Thanks everyone. Reinstalled CRJ, same problem. MOved on to BA146. Heaps of issues there, can't be bothered, removing all Jut Flight product including Carenado Byeee.
