I'm not sure if this is the proper place for this post, but here goes. I installed the Lorby-SI AddonOrganizer as recommended by the MakeRwys installation instructions for P3Dv4. It installed OK. When I tired to run MakeRwys, I got a message which said it "failed to make all of the data files" "Total airports-0, runways-0". I have ORBX scenery with the 3 runway configuration at KSEA. I thought that it would make the third runway. The RAAS feature I have still sees only 2 runways. It will not identify the center runway. When approaching runway 16C, RAAS calls out 16R. I have the latest version of MakeRwys, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas? Tha…

I have a Saitek Yoke with Chase Plane and, as such, have assigned various keys to control my views in Chase Plane. But when I attempt to delete those same buttons assigned to P3D, it doesn’t work. Any assistance will be much appreciated… Regards,

I am out of any ideas....I installed V4 few days back thinking after release of this 64 bit beauty that I will enjoy my flights....but after making only one flight I am unable often to start P3D...crashes constantly. I installed my 777 (PMDG), latest add-on and every time when I try to change camera view outside it crashes.....Thought problem is with latest addition, switched back to NGX, which BTW worked perfectly yesterday and same thing.... not sure if is camera (ezDock) or FSUIPC (not sure why that but...). I backed up my .cfg, deleted original, restarted and sometimes I am unable to start at all (crashes on "load scenery" screen) and sometimes I am able to get her …

Is there a way to create a flight plan, with various waypoints, to take off and land at the same airport on the same runway? For instance: I want to take off from and land back at runway 34 from Reno NV but the flight itself is a flight along the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada mountains southward several hundred miles and then back to Reno NV... a sort of tour flight.

Anyone else noticed that KBKL Airport ( Cleveland Lakefront) is missing in P3D version 3.4 ?

Hey all, So I wanted to make sure that I did this right so that REX is not overriding ASCA. I downloaded REX for the airport and water textures, but want to keep using ASCA for sky colors and clouds. So I installed REX (ASCA was already installed) and put together a theme I liked. I went into ASCA and unchecked all the colors and textures and hit save. Then I went into REX and put together a theme and installed it. Now, it REQUIRES you to pick a set of cloud and sky colors in REX to load a theme, so it did install REX cloud and sky textures. So then I went back to ASCA and re-checked all of the textures and clicked save. Will ASCA override REX and give me the right t…

Sorry guys to open new topic but seems to me that after searching for last three days I couldn't find any answer about small issue I have. I recently switched to P3D and I am impressed, everything works fine but when I press left click on mouse Simulator Pauses and message said Sim paused?! So I have to "click" on cockpitt and un-pause the game. In other words I can't do anything on my PC except fly....If I want to open flight plan, sim pauses, when I try checking ASP sim pauses..... I se lot's of people have issue that Sim crashes but mine is just paused and is getting annoyed....Anyone can help me? Thanks

Is there a way to create a few different commands on one plane and then load another plane and export those settings over? For example, I am flying the FSL320 IAE and created some switch settings on my warthog thrust lever (spoilers, reverse, idle reverse, flaps, etc.). Am I able to load the CFM version, and take what I created in the IAE and load it to the CFM or do I need to do it individually for each plane? Thanks!

For those of you who are running P3D v4.1 in windowed mode... what do you set your graphic settings to as far as VSYNC on/off and Triple Buffering on/off? For windowed mode should vsync be on or off, or it doesn't matter? I notice that my fps is higher with both vsync and triple buffering off. And also I noticed that 8xMSAA is better on performance than 4xSSAA.

Hi All I'm in the process of revalidating my SEP for my PPL in a PA28 Warrior and have been using JustFlight's model to train in between real world flights which has been very handy, particularly to practice stalls, etc I know that torque and p-factors and modeled but my airplane is constantly banking to the left, even if I move the sliders all the way to the left in the sim settings (P3DV4). This is very unrealistic in comparison to the real aircraft and quite frustrating as I'm constantly correcting my bank angle (no aileron trim in this plane). It can't be due to fuel imbalance either as even after resetting my tanks to 50/50 on each side, i get the same amo…

Hello I had SODE v1.4.1 installed initially. When I tried to upgrade to v1.5.3, it asked for the v1.4.1 installer, which I downloaded from the historic downloads page and pointed the v1.5.3 installer to it. The installer run for a while and then gave me the following error : Any subsequent attemts to install SODE results in the same error. The 12bpilot folder was deleted from Program Files(x86), but the one in ProgramData still exists. Default jetways work fine, but those airports which need additional data in the SODE folder are missing jetways. After some days of bush flying im going back to the big boys and i want to fill my airports with some live action, since there arent a lot of options for AI in V4 my question is hows the current status of UTL? made a search and read so many good and bad things about it scattered over several months, as it been updated since release? please tell me if it worth throwing my money to it now or wait a little longer and fly alone in those big cold airports!

In Prepar3d, using the virtual cockpit view, the image is somewhat blurry. Reading the MFD and PFD is not easy at all. I've played around with the graphics settings with not much change at all. My system is: i7-6700K 32MB ram MSI GTX 1060 graphics card. 500GB SSD for OS and programs 1TB HDD for data and such 3TB HDD for more data and such and backups Display is an ASUS 1920 X 1080 and everything other than P3D is nice and sharp. I don't have other sims or any games so, I have no "apples to apples" comparison to go by.

Deciding between Pilots FS Global Ultimate and the freeware FreeMesh X 2.0. Don't care about price, just realism. The FreeMesh I'm familiar with. Was wondering which had better LOD? I know with FreeMesh the US is LOD12 and LOD10 I think over the rest of the world.

Struggling with UT2 in P3Dv4 here... I have many AI planes in a folder separate from the default UT2 Aircraft simobjects subfolder. I'm at a point where I have UT2 working correctly, but none of my "nonstandard" aircraft are visible in P3D. My simobjects.cfg contains the following: [Entry.10] Path=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft Required=True Active=True I added a subsequent entry as follows: [Entry.11] Path=SimObjects\P3D Native AI Required=True Active=True No matter what I'm not seeing the many aircraft that should be in-sim from this folder. I've read many forums and in many places as to how I can change the clock to hours:minutes rather than just in minutes so it resets after 100 minutes. Does anyone know how I can do this. I have looked through the settings in the FMC I can't seem to find anything. Thanks

Hi! I have a problem in Prepar3D V4. When I turn on dynamic lightning and at the night time I get 30-40FPS but I have half a second (sometimes 1 second) input delay when I click on a switch in cockpit, when I move my flight controls (pedals yoke..) or when I pan my view. Everything has a delay. Do you know what migh cause this problem? Specs: i7 7700 (running at 4.2 GHz, HT enabled) 8x2 GB DDR4 KFA2 GTX 1060 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 2TB HDD Thank you!
