Is there a database of ATC callsigns for FSX/P3D anywhere that I can download?

Are there any good Armstrong NOLA Intl out there or in the works for P3D. I fly KMDW to KMSY often IRL and sim via Southwest. Would like to have a better version of Armstrong though. thanks, Hawkeye

I built my system yesterday and am enthralled with Prepar3D so far. Naturally, I'd like to up the ante on the visuals. I am looking for general recommendations on where to start and what to purchase. I used REX Essentials Plus years ago on FSX, that is my only experience. I believe I need a mesh product AND a texture product?

Hey folks and friends, I am in a winter temperature envelope making my sim so smooth (P3Dv4.1) that i almost cant believe my own specs. . For starters i am only with SLI 970`s in 4K but thats okay as long as i dont push Dynamic lights to the end . Right now i am still fiddling with an Haswell 4770K and ProcessLasso trying to make ground textures even sharper without getting to much heat. I know and can tell that HT ON is improving ground texture handling . Right now i disabled the last core two cores via Lasso in HT mode and so far temps has dropped 25% Still a smooth ride between KSDF to KDEN as SWA 3918 So what is your settings ?…

Is anyone here using photoscenery of Denmark and southern Sweden with FlyTampa Copenhagen Kastrup? I am really keen to purchase this airport addon (I spent an entire weekend updating my AI flightplans for it), but flying over default scenery to get there does not impress me.My initial requirement (for circuit tests) would be part of Zealand to the west of Amager Island, and the section of southern Sweden that includes Malmo. I am not exactly optimistic, but any suggestions would be welcome!

Hello, In a lot of my AI aircrafts.cfg a Parking Code is present , but most of the airports do not have these parking codes... What is the impact? Will these aircrafts be present at these airports? Do I need to remove these parking codes from the aircraft config? Thanks in advance

I installed FTX central to try out one of the demo's from orbx. However, after installing my ground textures get extremely blurry in all areas, is there any way I can remove all scenery and libraries from orbx and ftx central completely? Regards

Gentlemen, I have PMDG aircraft in FS2004 (767-600-700 +767-400) and FSX (767NGX 700-800 +767-400). I have the disc for these aircraft. Can any be operated in Prepard3D V4? Thanks. Stanner

Just started using P3D v4. When zooming, with keyboard or Ch Yoke, its very choppy, notlike in FSX where its was very smooth. Is there an infinite battery setting. My planes shut down after 5 min. I know there was a setting in Full version of FSUIPC, but i haven't bought the latest version yet. In my controls can't get the hat switch to zoom. Thanks

Hi, just noticed Flight1 has a textureset offering for P3D, GEX P3DV4. Has anybody bought it and tried it? I had all the GEX packages for FSX. Is it just a new labelling for P3D or does it have additional features? It is quite a steep price so any input would help. Thanks!

Good day everyone, I am not used to start a new thread but here I go. I have a problem in P3D v4.1, where after tweaking my P3D.CFG, applying ENVTEX and PTA, the ground textures are "breathing", they are alternating between normal textures and all black. (see the pictures) I have of course tried to look up for a solution before asking here, but unlike other people where the problem was after installing a new scenery or plane, I am full stock (unless ENVTEX of course) and so I really don't understand why it keeps happening. Hello, Yes I know, another AffinityMask Thread, but I'm really running out of ideas.. I'm using a 4790k (HT off) and have currently the Problem that Core 1 only has a usage of about 50%. Core 2 and 3 have a few drops as you can see on the screenshot but are basically doing their job. I already tried tons of AffinityMask Configurations, but they only made things worse or moved this behaviour to another Core. Below is a Screenshot of P3D v4.1 running without any AffinityMask configured. Is this behaviour "normal" or does anyone know how I can max out all Cores? Thank you in Advance!

Why is it that dynamic lighting only works at night? I had been trying to figure out a way to have the dynamic lighting working for 24 hours, why? Because in cloudy conditions, the scenery would look dark and the aircraft lights won't illuminate the ground (which is unrealistic), not only aircrafts but sceneries that support dynamic lighting won't work until night time. I honestly don't mind the fps problem, I had set mine to 8x mmsa and things are going just fine. Can someone please help and provide me with a file within the Prepar3D folder that I could modify? I have two Orbx airports that I have never been able to get to work in P3Dv4. KORS - Eastsound and KWYS - West Yellowstone. I can't access them. As soon as I try to go to them I get a CTD. If I try to go to them from the control panel as soon as the status bar completes I'm back on the desktop. When I try to fly into KORS as soon as I cross the runway threshold I'm back to the desktop. I can land on the runway at KWYS but as soon as I try to taxi into the parking area I'm back at the desktop. They have been problems ever since I got P3Dv4. I am using object flow beta. Hello all, im hoping someone can help with a problem i am having. i am trying to use Imaginesim's KATL with P3Dv4. my problem is that even though the scenery loads properly, the airport KATL_ADEX_ADE.bgl file does not load. when i look into which ADE file the sim is reading, its APX25500 which is the default atlanta scenery. when i attempt to load a flight and start at imaginesim's KATL, the only options i have for the initial parking spot are "Active Runway" and "Tower Controller". if i choose active runway, the sim loads right in the middle between terminals. i have tried uninstalling, reinstalling and all that several times. i am making sure that i am using the version…

Good Evening All, I have two issues that I'd like advice on, both involving P3DV4 and hardware. I currently use P3DV3.4 on a i7 3770 (not K), 16gb ram, and a GTX 760. Obviously the system is aging, but I also have a faulty motherboard that while still works, who knows for how much longer. P3DV4 runs modestly well on my system (smooth 20 FPS at FT EHAM for example) with sliders around mid range or a little higher with rare OOMs. So, my dilemma is two things: Upgrading hardware. Hi Guys, I've been reading previous posts regarding issues with other peoples setups etc. Now ever since I installed P3D v4 It started off ok but now we are on 4.1 I'm getting a lot more stutters etc and various CTDs. I've tried lowering my settings but still they are still quite frequent.
