I'm thinking of upgrading the above airports. Anyone who already did feeling to share some info how good or bad these airports are in P3Dv4? As I recall it from P3Dv3 Munich was quite nice while Paris was a bit so-so IMO.

Just saw this now and lovit what i saw, the replay feature and the hot corners are a really must, i risk to say that chaseplane can become the best addon out there ever... PS: i dont know if the video is already posted in other section, i dint find it!

Hello all, My dynamic lighting for P3Dv4 doesn't work, despite it being enabled. Anyone have any idea why? I've tried reinstalling all my add-ons and P3D it's self but to no avail. Thanks for the help.

I7 7700K GTX1080TI recent update to 388.13 32G 3200 ram P3DV4.1 Win10 Creators Edition AS for P3D Full ORBX Install FSTramp Every since the Nvidia driver update my frame rates cycle/bod down to near 4 fps for a nearly a minute then bounce back up to 30-40ish. Keeps doing it every five minutes or so of flight. Wild swings through various frame per second speeds. Lately they are dropping down to 4-5 and staying there for several minuytes. Ran flawlessly for a few months on this new build without issues until now. I have dialed my sliders back about as far as they can go. Run at default settings. Still get the stutt…

I have the dash8q400 installed for p3dv4. It was working great for many hours, and then all of a sudden out of no where the ailerons wont work any more. Gee wizz I wish I had been more stringent with my pre-flight checks so I didnt crash into the Innsbruck mountain side... :) In any case, all my other airplanes are fine. I can move the elevator and rudder as normal, but the ailerons dont work. I have checked the config app and reset any faults that might have been. I've also checked the config app to see if my joystick aileron axis is registering, and yes it is indeed showing up and moving just fine there. UPDATE from LM over at the Prepar3D Forums "Microsoft will include a fix for this issue in a Windows 10 update scheduled for release around November 14th. This issue was caused due to a bug introduced in the KB4038788 update. This issue is specific to 32-bit applications which is why Prepar3D v4 was unaffected by this update." -From Rob McCarthy Just under a month before we get a fix......Can't believe it's taken MS so long for this fix

While EZDOK claims not to be compatible with P3D v4, I note many users claim to be using it with no problem. Exactly how do you install EZDOK in P3D v4.1? Tom

Just done the new windows 10 fall creator update and now prepar3d v3.4 doesnt startup. "Prepar3d was unable to initialize the rendering system and was shutdown. Please make sure this system has a video card that supports DirectX 11 and that the drivers are up to date." I have latest NVIDIA Drivers for my 980ti. Can anyone help ?

Anyone using this in P3D v4? Does it really enhance all the default Airports? I am considering purchasing this because I am tired of some 3rd party addons really reducing my sim to a crawl and would like to use the default airports instead. Only if this addon is really worth it and makes a big noticeable difference in visual quality.

I just got FS Global Ultimate NG for Prepar3d v4 and some stock airports have field elevation issues. According to Pilot’s (developers of FSGUNG), this is due fact that these airports do not have accurate airport field elevations.But does Orbx payware airports not have these issues? Do all Orbx airports correctly depict field elevations? I’ve tested Orbx’s LOWI and haven’t noticed any issues. Furthermore, I have FTX Global, LC Europe and North America, FTX Global Vectors, and just installed FS Global NG. Besides using the FTX utility to auto-configure the airports, should I do anything else to make sure everything is running smoothly? Best,

Hey all, I bought Chaseplane yesterday because I heard about the new features coming out and was super excited. However, since I installed it the program has totally wrecked my sim I had just gotten v4.1 to a point where it would look good and run well. But now with Chaseplane it either 1) drops the FPS so low that you can't do anything, or 2) makes it so that my textures take forever to load and makes my autogen draw distance drop so low it looks like I'm constantly flying in a fog. In addition, while I was able to pan normally with my joystick hat switch when I first installed it, I suddenly can't move the chaseplane cameras at all after last night (not with arrow…

Hi, I`m trying to find a fix for the lights colour in P3D v 4.1. I`m noticing a bluish colour on Majestic`s Q400 landing an taxi lights and UTlive AI aircraft as shown on the attached shots below. I am sure the problem is caused by an addon, but I can`t figure out which one... Here`s a list of installed texture addons: - Envtex (sky texures only), - everything FSFX (Q400, PMDG 737, 777 and PrecipitFX), - the lights on other installed addon aicraft are fine (PMDG737, 747, 777, A2A...). I reinstalled the Majestic`s Q400, even disabled the PTA, deleted the shaders folder.... Anyone clues, ideas, ...? Cheers! Matej

I have P3DV4 installed and discovered the existence of wind farms (those wind turbines) during a flight between the Isle of Man and the coast of England. There were hundreds of wind energy scanners on the sea, close to the VOR WAL (114,10), but after the installation of the ORBX products they are simply gone, the sea is clean. Has anyone else had this problem? One tip on how to restore such landmarks? Or what files should I restore to get back? Thank you

I've seen this issue on a few of my addons now. Has anyone else seen this? Some parts of the aircraft are lit and some are in shadow? Also there are weird ellipses in spots of shadow and light. I have acft shadows on high but HDR off. p3dv4_shadowartifacts by ryan b, on Flickr

We are looking for a solution where we can record a flight, and replay it from 24 different positions (6 cockpit windows and 18 passenger windows). All these videos will playback at the same time on 24 different LCDs to create a flight experience. Currently, we are facing the following two main issues with it: 1) The different flight videos that we record seem to have a slight difference in length, the simulation engine does not seem to run at the exact same speed every time. Since P3D v4 was released I have been looking to see if i can use old airport sceneries that I have purchased in the past. Thanks to the list that was posted to show what sceneries were compatible with P3D v4, I have manged to install lots of add on airports and they all work fine. But more and more of those exact add ons are being released for P3D v4 as new versions, some charge for the update and some don't. Now the question that I have is what do we get with the new versions of these sceneries? the ones I have work so why would I want to buy the same airports over again? I don't really care for new lighting or better grass and things like that so when that is the only …

Has anyone else seen performance seem to tank upgrading from 4 to 4.1? I feel like I have a lot lower frame rates in general with more studdering than I ever had in 4.0. Just wondering if a fresh clean install is worth to see if that makes a difference. I jumped on 4.0 early on so there was alot of addon updates that have been installed along with the main 4.1 update followed by more addon updates. I'm thinking a fresh 4.1 install with native 4.1 addons might help? Just thinking out loud here...
