I posted about this over at the Feelthere forum on simflight.com, but have not had any response from them. Has anyone heard anything about them updating this product for P3D4?

Seems like I am getting some SQL error on flight1 forums. Server Error in Forum Application An error has occurred while connecting to the database. Please contact the Forum Administrator. Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_db_connection File Name:- database_connection.asp Forum Version:- 11.10 Error details:- Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. Anyhow, I just installed the latest version and I am not getting traffic. I think there is supposed to be a dropdown in P3Dv4, but don't see anything. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi Guys, i noticed something strange lately: i had an night flight from EDDF to LOWW two days ago. The night was very bright as i had full moon but it should have shown waxing on around 20%. Could it be that the moon phase is saved with the flight and will then not be updated with the actuall phase?

Can someone steer me to a good resource that is not real old on how to adjust the panel.cfg in the Phenom 300 to get a gtn gauge to fit properly in the MFD? I have overlapping gauges and don't know how to fix. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone experienced a problem with the SOCAL shoreline in ORBX? The land extends beyond the shoreline to the west about 30 miles or so. I uninstalled and reinstalled ORBX SOCAL with the same result. I really can't figure out what is going on. Update - Removing ORBX SOCAL fixes the problem...and then reinstalling it brings back the erroneous shoreline back.

I reinstalled the sim today and got this message on startup. your computer has run out of available memory. please restart sim and select different graphic settings. how do you do that when its stuck on the opening screen. Paul.

Hi, Do you want to use professional EFB-tools with your Flight-simulator? Then take a look at the program: XMapsyV2 found on http://www.xmapsy.com. This helpfull tool sends data of own simulator aircraft and AI traffic information over your local network (UDP port 49002) to various EFB solutions - successfully testeted with ForeFlight and Garmin Pilot on IOS and Android devices. Hi all, Anyone maybe knows how this can be fixed? I get black textures on aircraft, but not in all of them. I tried deleting prepar3d.cfg, clearing shaders cache and installing original P3D shaders. None of these fixed it..

Hi all, My last couple of flights into London i have seen fireworks in the distance, What is confusing me is i just saw them on my daytime arrival into LHR. Is this a P3D feature? I'm wondering how i can adjust it so i don't see them in the daytime, Or even at night. The only addons i use that would affect the London area is Aerosoft Heathrow, ORBX Open LC EU. I'm using P3D 4.1. Any info on this is greatly appreciated as i'm baffled haha

Hello, I hope you are doing well. Recently i looked at some streams and saw that the night lights on the highways are displayed all the way to the horizon. Now what my problem is, that mine are not. They get cut after a few miles and then they don't continiue. I'll provide a picture to make things clear. Hello all Just wondering if anyone could confirm whether Taxi2Gates's LFPG is now P3D4.1 compatible ? Reason for asking is that I'm now seeing some horrendous scenery issues that weren't there last time I flew into LFPG using P3D4: I've tried a reinstall, but no go. So I'm at a bit of a loss. One of my favorite airports has been updated to p3d v4. This is one I do not mind paying for the upgrade price. The next one I'm looking forward to is LGSK and that's coming soon.

Is there a tutorial available anywhere for the Flight1 Cessna Citation Mustang (similar to the one for the PMDG 737 NGX)?

I don't want to be placed at Langley with the F22 everytime I load up. Is there a way I can specify which aircraft, time of day, date, and airport I want to be the default location, so that it'll place me there each and everytime I start up P3D?

Hi Poppet Can I be a little bit cheeky? I do not have the tech ability to install Tongass Fiords into my P3Dv4.1 setup -even though your instructions appear very clear to most simmers on this board.My failings I am sure! On the Misty Moorings Forum in a Board entitled Prepar3d-version4/unsuccessful Tongass Fiords install. The tenth post by Penzoil3 has a method I might be able to follow.I would appreciate your opinion. I currently have a successful P3Dv4.1 setup and would hate to “stuff” it up Thanks for any help you could give me xxd09

I am thinking about getting the Majestic Dash 8 Q400 and in preparation I was thinking about installing ProATC/X already. However, I read it is not officially compatible with P3D v4.1? I also read about a beta numbered 1.8.8.5 being released to the testers in May already but when I want to download the lastest installer it's still version 1.8.7.9...? I am not a fan of installing incompatible software... Is ProATC/X still alive? What I'd also wanted to ask: does ProATC/X support the Q400 when it comes to things like exporting flightplans into the plane (like it used to do with the AS Airbus)? Or might another ATC app be better for the Q400 somehow?

Since I couldn’t find a Prepar3D scenery forum, I thought I’d ask here. Does anyone know what tools/software some of the bigger scenery developers use? I can’t see how they’d use ADE to make something like Flightbeam’s SFO.

I recall back in v3 there was a scenery config tool that would allow you to only load scenery that you want in your flight. Meaning, if I was flying from KSFO-KLAX, I would only pick those 2 airports to load in the tool prior to my flight, and P3d would not load any of the other addon airports I have across the US. Is this available / compatible with v4.1? Also, if it is, would that help at all with frame rates or does that have nothing to do with it. I wasn't sure if it was just for load times or if it could help reduce studders and add frame rate. Thanks

I have a hardware question for you guys. I have a 1080ti and 980ti card on a extreme Maximus vi board (rog). I run three monitors . I put the main sim on the 1080ti and the other two monitors which are used for undocked gauges and info - that is where I use the 908ti.On my board I will only get 16x throughput if I use one card. If I use 2 cards it gets throttled to 8x on each slot . Does anyone here have enough experience to say I would get better performance using all 3 monitors on one card at 16x or split it up with 2 monitors on the 980ti and the sim on the other 1080ti at 8x. thanks? So it's been a while since I've switched over from MT6 to UTL - just wondering if anyone can suggest which traffic optimizer is more efficient / effective with this addon? The traffic limiter within FSUIPC, or the freeware air traffic manager tool? And any combination of traffic limit settings you'd recommend for UTL + the limiter (I understand P3D needs to be set to 0 traffic with UTL). Thanks much
