So I have been flying in and out of Japan with a lot of flights, but so far I only own a couple of sceneries that allow me to do so, and those are Narita International Airport and Fukushima Airport by Wing Creation Inc., and Kansai International Airport by Aerosim. But I haven't seen any other scenery for japan, so I was wondering if there is more to be found? And I am not just looking for airports but also mesh and textures for the surounding scenery. I don't mind if it is payware or freeware, all I want is that it can be ported into P3Dv4 and that it is of decent quality

Hello forum users! I'm experiencing a problem with the CS 737-200. The weather radar does not work!! I move the switch to standby however, it displays a black screen. I don't know know if I have to have another addon for the radar to work, but other addons like FlySimWare Learjet35 has to have other addons for the radar to work. Is that the case with the CS 737? I'm using the CS 737-200 v1.0 (yes very old but usable) P3D v3.2

Hello, I have too many CTD with my "old" FSX traffic I will move to an other Tool . If you use My Traffic 6a do you like it? Military and civil traffic all over the world? What about the manual installation? , I do not want to install inside the P3D Folder , I do not use the .xml option , I want to use the scenery.cfg method. Thanks in advance

Hi All, I bought the Just Flight Arrow IV and Turbo Arrow IV. The prop lever doesn’t work. It’s stuck at 100% full forward. If I adjust (decrease) it just immediately springs back (yes, it’s animated) to 100% full forward. I have this problem with both the ArrowIV and Turbo Arrow IV. Just Flight technical support says it’s definitely not their plane and is an issue with P3D. They didn’t want to advise or help any further... I doubled checked all the key inputs and axis assignments to make sure there weee no conflicts. This is the only plane I have that has this problem. Yes, I have the most current versions d/l from JF. First, this is what works for me on a [email protected], GTX 780 with 6GB. Type of flying, PMDG NG/777, Q400. Addons always used. ASN TrackIR EZCA I always fly into and out of pay-ware airports. ORBX=Global, Vector, OLC. Nothing else. Lets Start with P3D Settings. The only thing to note here is I now have water set to OFF(you might like it you might not? try it and see! If your flying over land you don't need anything else really!) Vector uses over 300mb of VAS and for the type of flying I do I only have the below turned ON and it saves VAS and stutters etc. Now this is how I make P3D 3.1 run as smooth as can be from me. So... this question has been asked by many already, but is it worth making the switch from FSX to P3d V2.3? I almost pulled the trigger last night and dropped $60.00 on the Academic License. My hesitation, like most others, is how well will my addons work with P3dV2? I see on Aerosoft and a lot of other websites that products are compatible with P3D, but doesn't necessarily mean compatible with p3dV2. I prefer flying IFR jets than VFR light aircraft, and don't know how many options there really are for P3DV2 fully compatible commercial airliners. No no, not my very first flight, of course, but I just did my very first flight with all my new goodies combined. And boy, it was great! But boy, it's also almost like having a job! Before I even got started I had to load TrackIR, ASN, ProATC/X, PFPX and the Q400 control panel. I then had to create the flightplan with ProATX, copy that into PFPX (after having also set up a flightplan in that one) and then I had to enter the data from the OFP to the Q400 control panel. Then I started P3D and with it also came UTL, ChasePlane and GSX. After loading the plane I had to (a.o.) transfer the data from the control panel to the plane AND I had to manually enter the date from the c…

Hi all, since a few weeks i tried several times to reinstall P3D v3. It always fails because it says that there are problems with the cab file. I tried the complete zip file download, I downloaded the individual files, I tried several browsers, cleared temp files, I checked the MD5 checksum etc. Sometimes there was a problem with the MD5 checksum. This could be solved when I redownloaded the file several times then somehow it was ok. But then while the installation the installation was again canceled because of a corrupt file. So am I doing something wrong here or where could be the problem? Thank you for any help ;-) Best regards Julian

Recently i noticed that when i go to the settings in the sim the background is normally filled in black and you can not see the sim, and now it is visible in the background. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago and thought that there is something wrong with my sim because i asked my other friends about it and they do not get the same results as I. @ chaseplane and opus owners, I was thinking of getting chaseplane but before i do so I'd like to know..how do the chaseplane motion effects (landing,turbulence...) compare to those of OPUS ? Do they "feel" more realistic ? Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to find a way to get reverse thrust. I am using the Saitek throttle quadrant. Though it does have the detent that is seen as a button by FSUIPC when you pull the throttle back past idle, I can't find anything in FSUIPC to associate that to any kind of reverse thrust function. I'm sure I am simply missing something but have no clue what it is. I know that the P3D V4 control configuration has reverse thrust but I don't know how to set that "button" past the idle position to that function. All I see is an axis... not a button. Hope I have been clear enough with my question! Thanks in advance.

Hey, since a couple of months I fly with P3dv4, therefore with v3, and since a time, and I think when I changed from v3 to v4, starting up a flight takes sometimes more than 10 minutes. Loading goes normal until at around 75-85%, when he is loading scenery. I've searched around the forum here and I can't find something similar, so if such a topic already excist, please let me know. Looking for a short haul aircraft for P3DV4. Was going together the FSL A320 but I'm waiting until the SP drops. Was looking at the 717. Is it stable or is it a case of if you buy it you're a unpaid beta user who had to pay for it?

In my quest to make things more and more realistic (and to see deep my wallet is) I am looking at GSX. I've seen it doing the pushback in the Airline2Sim Cadet training and well, even though the guys walk a bit odd, it does add to the immersion. Of course I do have a few questions though: 1. Does it work well with the current Majestic Q400? 2. Does it really work on every airport so also freeware addon airports? I am using Airports of Norway and mainly fly from and to those. 3. Anyone had luck installing the HDE Sky Textures V2.0 into p3dv4 I downloaded the product twice and it will not install. It gets about 3/4 of the way through and says it is looking for a file and then quits. There is only one file in the download so I'm stuck Maybe I'm missing something Help, thoughts? Peter

Dear friends Something wierd happend a few days ago, (I had not installed any new addons...) and from one day to the other, all of a sudden the key assignments all reverted back to default (?) I can change them to settings I prefere, fly a session like "normal", but when I close P3dV4, open it up agaiin for some flying... the key settings and my previus setting are all "gone" and back to default... I currently have a pretty high end system and run fslabs pretty well in terms of smoothness and frames. I️ get around 15 FPS in cities like Miami but the sim is flyable and smooth. However, I️ am always looking to improve things. I watch streams from chewwy and others that seem to run very high settings into dense areas and get 30 + FPS constantly. For those running fslabs in high density areas, what sliders are you using to get that sweet spot.? I️ am afraid that if i move more left i will lose visuals. Or does that chewwy guy or any of the other streamers that run in high setting post their P3d and graphics settings anywhere? I would like to compare vs. mine. My s…

I am flying the Q400 but I am often having problems with TrackIR not enabling me to see the top of the overhead or the com radio's. Probably has to do with the light and the distance to my tracker. But even if things would work, I often find it a bit problematic to keep my head up or down that much to actually do things in the cockpit. So I thought it might be time to get a camera addon. I do not like to switch between the views with A because you have to cycle through them all all the time and back again. Kills the immersion.
