Had this a few times in a row now and I can't figure out what's wrong. I start the flight as always, load the flight into ProATC and everything works as it's supposed to. I obtain clearance, pushback permission, taxi to runway XXX and when close to the runway "Contact Tower xxxxx" So far so good. But when my co-pilot (automatic setting within ProATC) has acknowledged the transfer to the tower frequency, the interaction with ProATC stops. The frequency is correct (as stated in the ProATC screen), but when I press '1' nothing happens. No contact is made with the tower. Hello, please someone can advise me if to use Orbx vector confiqurator for scenery runways OR the Make Runways ? Do I need to run the one, or. both while I install a new scenery for runway elevation correction? Looking forward for advise please Geo

I'm embarking on my first online flight in the majestic q400, and the gear pins haven't been an issue yet. To my surprise the gear won't raise on departure. Screw it.. we're making the flight anyway GRRRRRR Since I'm such a newb can someone confirm its in the services page and I can only remove them on the ground?

The changelist notes from the README are long, so there's just a summary here: FSCaptain is now Prepar3D Version4 compatible, and with this move we decided to move to separate installers for FS2004, SimConnect 32-bit, and SimConnect 64-bit simulators. This update resets all the Run as Administrator settings... be ware..you will notice the shield icon disappearing..this may affect the way some programs run. Jorge

Just Installed NewYork & Zurich but they are greyed out in my P3Dv4 Scenery Library, I can't untick them not even delete them. What's wrong? How do I fix it?

My P3D v4 has been having a problem for a while. It has been flashing completely black at random times for no reasons, and I have no idea why. I have reinstalled the sim multiple times, and this happened on a clean install of P3D with the only 2 things installed being the Q400 and ASP4/ASCA. Anyone have ideas? Hey! I'm currently running a 6600k at 4.4ghz 16GB ddr4 2300 kit of ram with a 1060 6GB. I have p3d v4 running quite well. I do have a few issues with DL and shimmering however I've managed to live with it. I have a few pennies saved up and Im now in a position to get a 1070. My question is if it's worth the upgrade from the 1060? Should I save up more and get the 1070ti? Should I change the cpu, would that make a noticeable difference? Or should I just skip the upgrade and wait for the next generation of hardware? Thank you!

Not only related to 4.1 but I noticed that changing FTX Vector to off in library during a saved flight doesnt honor the change at all. I noticed i have problems with some FTX regions airports when FTX Vector is active. KLAS and NZQN for instance with FTXSCA and FTXNZSouth. Is there an option with saved flight to honor disabling on the run? Thanks Michael Moe

I don't recall ever seeing sharp terrain textures throughout the entire landscape before. Like the textures will be sharp around me but further off if there are moutains in the distance, it will appear as though the mountains appear soft and blurry. And it ruin's the entire scene because you have half sharp scenery around you and in the mountains in the distance they appear blurry. Looks terrible. Is there a way to fix this? I am running with 10 for the texture exp LOD in my p3d.cfg as well. Is it because I am using default mesh? I don't think this is the case, even when using full orbx terrain regions which includes its own highly detailed mesh, I also see these blurry m…

I have a 3440*1440 monitor. Would there be any visual improvement from a high 2048*2048 texture resolution to a 4096*4096 ultra texture resolution? Am I just wasting resources by running at ultra? Regards,

There is rather a lot of it in P3D and no matter what PTA preset is selected you are stuck with it - the whole world looks like it is afflicted with bad smog. I live on the coast and the air is very clear with crisp visibility all the way to the horizon and I would like to be able to have this in P3D but no matter what setting there is always this haze. Have I missed something here is there some setting that so far has escaped me? Thanks. Bruceb

I have a persistent problem with the border between Volume 3 and Volume 8 of the PlayHorizon UK VFR Photographic Scenery. In short, my Earth Simulations TreeScapes trees are not displaying in a strip that seems to correspond roughly with the areas that VFR8 replaces to smooth the border joint with the Volume 3 scenery. If I disable VFR8, the missing trees are displayed! Does anyone else suffer from this problem? It is really starting to annoy me

My beloved Majestic Q400 is suddenly giving me problems: as soon as the cold and dark script has been loaded the aileron is completely stuck. Everything else works fine. Luckily the ready for taxi state doesn't have this problem so I can still fly the plane using that state but obviously I also want to be able to start the plane cold and dark! It's very odd: yesterday evening everything was perfectly fine and now suddenly, out of the blue, I have this odd problem! Anyone here who has encountered the same problem and who knows a solution for this? Hello. I have installed the TrafficLook.exe that comes with the Fsuipc. (It is, simply, in the modules folder). When i cklick on the exe, it is not displayed, although the task manager shows it working. Can somebody help me?

We cant live without them, every month new addons emerge in the flight simming market just to makes us spent more money :) they are the master keys to put in our flight simulators the things that are missing, to make it more appealing to our eyes, to gives us a more immersive experience. I recently moved from v3.0 to 3.4 and in the process I notice the ATC window now contracts its displayed text and leaves a 'Previous' entry you have to click to read what was previously always in view w/o the need for yet another 'click'. Any way to revert to the prior behavior, present since...around 2009?

I noticed that my white LED lights are now showing blue on aircraft. They still produce white on the ground but when you look at them directly there blue. Has anyone seen this before. Instead of using my keyboard I'd like to be able to use a single button or axis to cycle down through the various selections in the ATC menu. Has anyone here figured out how to do this? I do have a registered FSUIPC.

Hi there, I have recently purchased ORBX Stockholm, and I am having a very strange problem. I am getting massive black rectangles appearing all over the airport for a few seconds, then they disappear. I’m running an i7 7700k, overclocked to 4.9GHz, 1080 TI Aurous Xtreme, with 64 GB DDR @3200. My monitor is an Acer Predator x34 Gsync 100hz. I have Black Marble Base and Vector, Pilot’s FS NG Ultimate Mesh, practically all of Orbx’s products. I’m running an affinity mask of 116 tweak. Although I get relatively good FPS, noting below 25, and maximums of about 80 FPS, the experience isn’t smooth, even at high FPS. How can I get rid of stutters? Any suggestions will be much appreciated… Best,
