hello all, sorry for that many questions that a post on this forum, but i need some answers.. ive recently purchased p3d v 4 and i think its great! really love it. there is only one problem. My textures are pretty bad and im not sure how to fix this. for example i cannot see the letters on the instruments of the pmdg 747. also, i cannot see the 3d grass at flytampa amsterdam. (at fsx i could and i know you can in p3d v 4 because ive seen it in videos) are there any tweaks to improve the textures in the sim like at fsx you could? ive posted already at the p3d forum on there website but i did not get an answer yet back thx for all the help!

For the life of me I cannot find a link to DL just the new v4.1 GTN 750 not with the 650. Has anyone got a link flight1 web site is terrible.

I'm trying to generate or find a complete list of all the airports in p3d v4.1 with the icao code, airport name as well as city, state , country, etc longer ago it was easy to use Makeryws.exe or something like that but I haven't been having any success with that for v4.1 thanks.

I have an issue with the HSI CDI when using the F1 GTN in P3DV4.1. The CDI does not link to the GTN. This issue occurs when I use the built in GTN interface, for the RealAir Turbine V2, or Carenado S550 II, or a custom interface such as the Carenado Citation 525. I tested the same planes, in both P3DV3.4 and P3DV4.1, starting at PHNL, with a simple flight plan of PHNL->NAPUA->PHLI. They do not work in P3DV4.1. They DO work in P3DV3.4 To be clear, the Auto pilot works OK...when switching to an ils (vloc) via the GTN... the interface between the two work in P3DV4.1. Hello, Just a quick question. I have my P3d installation on a SSD , however it is getting close to capacity. However , my Windows SSD still has quite of bit of space. Just was wondering if it is ok to put add-on scenery on the Windows SSD and then just link via add-on.xml. I think it should be fine , but was wondering if there is going to be a performance penalty( stutters more so) doing so. Thank you

I have decided to move on to P3dV4 from FSX. Where can I find a list of FSX software that I can install in a new system built specifically for P3DV4. I know that I will have to possible update some airports and utilities such as PFPX, ASN, FSUIPC etc. Also, will any FSX titles have to be installed on the new system prior to using P3DV4? Has anyone else been able to download this new package from PC Aviator (US)? I purchased it last night and the d/l link isn't working. I have tried to contact and haven't heard back. I swore off PC Aviator after my last message for help went unanswered a while back, I should have followed through.

Does anyone have any experience using the Orbx Lancair IV-P in P3D v4? I know it is not officially compatible, but most FSX and P3D v1-3 addons work in v4, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Hi there, There is something wrong with the lights on the Project Airbus A32X (all variants) in P3Dv3. Hey ya'll! I have a scenery request for P3D V4. Is anyone willing to make like a Mojave Desert Airport or Victorville Logistics Airport just littered with old stored planes and their liveries. For ex Victorville - British Airways 747, United 747, Southwest 737. Basically all types of planes with different airlines. I would do this myself but have no knowledge whatsoever in building scenery for simulators. If i recall, someone did a Victorville logistics scenery for FS9. Hello people :) I'm asking for helop about FTX Regions installation. Im having sever problems, requesting me to reinstall my sim (and Im annoyedd of reinstalling all addons etc...for 1 regions...) I have the FTX Norway (because I love Norway, I whish to visit it some day). It used to work perfectly (einther in Norway or another country). now, for almost 1 year, I have FSX-Steam and problems started there... When I install it, it alter the rest of the world... I just fired up P3D V4 to check that the latest Win 7 update didn't kill it. While there, I decided to go through my options settings. There is one to display "Content error" that wasn't checked so, I checked it. When I shut down the sim, I was given the message that "Content Errors" had happened and the path to the "Content errors" log. Yes, there were errors! What I'm wondering is what, if anything, I should do. The sim works great as far as I can tell and I'm fairly happy with what I've got going anyway. I can't see anything bad going on because of these errors.

Hello, I'm trying to make my step up from FS9 into P3dv4.1 but i have got alot of scenery for p3dv4. and i've notcied a few sceneries that are giving me a problem. such as the Fsdreamteam KIAH here's a pic. https://ibb.co/deMd7w then the tarmac at KLGA is messed up as well. with the DD NYC V2.

I recently bought ORBX Global during the end of year sale. From seeing several reviews it looked like a fantastic addon. I have it installed and for whatever reason, there is patches in certain areas of default scenery and other patches of terrain are orbx. Prepar3d was unable to initialize the rendering system and was shutdown is the error I got, after I downloaded the latest important updates 7 this morning. It said something about it couldn't find the DX 11 something or other and suggested I install the latest GPU drivers. The update had downloaded but hadn't installed yet. I rebooted the PC, and everything was fine. Then I later tried to install the update, and I got an error that it would not install. Then I looked at what the update was for , in it was for Nvidia..???? So I hid the update in windows, so it won't ever try and install it again. I do not like Windows messing with my Graphics drivers.

I'm in a bit of a quandary. Do I have a P3D problem or a Milviz problem? Scenario: Flight in Southern Germany(orbx) online. Milviz C310 fully updated. Weather 'orrible', raining hard. Rain pounding on the roof of my plane..All good. As the flight progresses the weather improves, the rain stops, clouds thin and blue skies rule OK? Sadly, the sound of rain does NOT stop! It continues until the very end. The end being P3Dv4.1 was shut down. I did a search of Milviz' sounds and there are no precip noises. I couldn't find a reference to them in the sound.cfg either. Hello, Oculus had made an big update, when i now start P3Dv4.1.exe Oculus App comes up, but P3D did not start. I Oculus App ist P3D "running" but no Flightsim comes up... What can i do to repair this? Thanks, Alti

Hello, I have recently upgraded to the new Lockheed Martin Prepar3D V4.. However now my ground textures look like this. As mentioned in the "Read me" topic: I tested it with and without locked framerates. I tested it with about a million different setting combinations. Played around with standard as well as changed V4 .cfg.. And am now stuck.. For Christmas I wanted to buy some A2A aircraft - However now Im thinking of not doing that because of the ground textures.. I love ORBX and in V3 I had absolutely no problems? Currently I only own ORBX Global - However want to stock up to Open LC Europe if I find a fix! . …

Did anybody succeed in installing FlyTampa's Amsterdam outside of Prepar3D v4 directory? Then using add-on.xml method? I tried to install Amsterdam in a directory outside of Prepar3D v4, but had some xml errors and weired folder structure, whereas the installer created additional Prepar3D v4 Add folder and many other problems. For what it matters Aerosoft's Heathrow Prof did install very well outside of Prepar3D with add-on.xml and Lorby's AddonOrganizer. Thanks,

I found out that my log file located in C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\SceneryDesign.org\AutogenConfigurationMerger\AutogenConfigurationMerger.log complained about the installation path of my P3Dv4. That meant that the tool was not working at all! Then found out in google that you have to find the tool location and run: AutogenConfigurationMerger.exe install p3dv4 on the command prompt. then you will see the log fill up with the sceneries that it is processing.
