Hi, Recently I bought 3 ORBX airfields: Wangarei(NZ), PAKT Ketchican Int. Airp. and CZST Stewart Wangarei is beautiful and working fine. PAKT: 1.causes an elevation problem, runway on a hill. FTX Central makes the insertion point, Checked it in Lorby's addon manager and FTX Central everything looks fine. PAKT is in between my other ORBX airfields. Had to reinstall Pac.Fjords and uninstall PAKT+ to get rid of the problem. 2. No parking/gates available in the scenario menu of P3dv4.1. Just runways to start from. So starting locations missing. 3. To be honest I don't see what the PAKT+ offers more than the "Default" ORBX PAKT in PFJ. CZS…

Anyone tried out the newly released Aerosoft Hamburg Professional yet? I bought it in the past meaning I can pick the new version up quite cheap but at the same time I don't want to spend money on scenery that isn't great. Looking at the screenshots on the product page I'm not that impressed to be honest but if you already tried it out and the screenshots don't do it justice, please share your view on this new scenery. Hi everybody, First, sorry for my English...will try to explain my prob. the best I can. I have been simming for about 20 years. I switched to P3d v4 mid-july and all was working well, great flights with PMDG 737-800 and 747-400, MJQ Dash8, FsLabs A320. I usualy fly in the afternoon, ending my flights at CYUL (Montréal, Qc) between 5 and 6 pm. 2 to 4 hrs flights. As I said, all was OK till the beginning of November. Then. I had a flight (KSFO/CYUL) with FsLab. A320 when suddendly, at cruise altitude, airspeed dropped in 1 second to 40-50 kts, of course, autopilot disc. and plane went in spiral dive I could not recover from. Ive seen the claim here and there about p3d v3.4 has native vr support. Ive looked through my options in p3d but i cant see anything about vr. Is it true that this version of p3d has native vr support, and if so, how is it applied?

So Navdata ariac 1712 does not have the ice runway for McMurdo in it, NZIR, only NZWD. This is an issue as I’m trying to land on the ice runway but I can’t as the data for it doesn’t exist in navigraph. The airport exists, both in the sim and in real life, but not in the navdata. Any suggestions or advice on how to add it?

...and why? I'm a real pilot but I don't fly any of the airplanes I flew in the real world. You buy an airplane, hope it's fairly close, but is it? Does it fly right? Feel right (considering the limits of the sim)? Does it have any reasonably decent systems at all (and, maybe, it doesn't matter that much?) Carenado planes get bashed a lot but my feeling is, when they're not glass, they're pretty good in a lot of ways. It's subjective, I know. What do you think? I am wondering if anyone else gets the quick pauses when you load a GSX menu. I asked over at the GSX forum and they said it was P3D issue. I never had this problem in FSX. It is not a deal breaker but annoying when landing and asking for a gate and it quickly freezes upon each menu coming up. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Darcy

Hi Guys, My KSEA is at least 50 ft under where it needs to be? All traffic is parked above me. It looks that i am in the some kind of hole. Funny enough I had same issue with FSX on this Airport as well and was unable to correct. Also looking while on take off from KMEM similar view but not as deep. I do have ORBX global and VECTOR. As far as I remember I ran elevations and proper set-up as well. Any suggestion? Thank you

Hi all; I'm currently doing a fresh install of 4.0 after experiencing significant drops in frames and sliders with 4.1. Just wondering if anyone else has gone back to 4.0? I just can't get to where the sim was in 4.0 with 4.1. Just need to make sure I wasn't dreaming with 4.0. Matt

Hi All, I had installed Dryzweicki Designs NY Airports V2 X and Miami X sceneries and I (thought) I successfully removed the scenery. But i've never been able to get rid of a pop-up at the beginning of P3D V4 Launch reading as follows: " SCENERY.CFG error. Could not find scenery NY airports V2 X's local scenery directory C:\ Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v4\Addon Scenery\NY Airports v2 X\SCENERY Would you like to unload this area? [Yes/No]" (The same config error goes for Miami as well...) Typically this is no issue as I just hit "Yes" and go about my flight. However, I also have FSDT JFK Installed (my prefe…

I am testing to see if I can use the Quality Wings Avro RJ in P3D v3.3. I usually prefer to set up a flight and save it, so that I can pushback on startup at a later date. This works perfectly with the PMDG 737 NGX and 747-400, but unfortunately it seems that not all of the changes are saved with the Quality Wings Avro RJ. It looks like the flightplan/fuel loads etc that I added in the FMC are OK, but any changes to the MCP/TRP/AP/Flaps are not. Is this normal, or is there a way to get the QW software to save ALL changes of this kind?

Hello all, I have had the problem for a few days that the sim crashes whenever I am trying to either load or save a flight. I am not confronted with any kind of error message, the sim just quits. I looked on the common boards but there is no answer to be found. Although other users have reported similar problems in the past there doesn't seem to be a solution to it. P3d runs in Admin mode and is perfectly fine, until it comes to loading a saved flight or saving one. Interestingly the autosave function from FSUIPC works flawlessly (the files are all in their respective folders) and also to load a saved panel state from a file directly through the addon (i.e.…

After I replaced my P3D.cfg with Matt Davies' High Density tweak and made some suitable changes (not many, only affinity mask and the graphics card) all of my addon tabs in the addons section of the drop down menu such as couatl and gsx and vpilot and FSUIPC have dissappeard. The only addon there is SODE. Do you guys have any idea how I can get this all back? Thanks a lot!

Hi all, I just bought the Flysimware L35A along with the Lear35 Immersion from FSFX packages. While everything loads fine in P3Dv4.1, I get a weird problem where the strobe lights reflect on the cockpit, something very unpleasant to look at. I also get this on the default F22, but not in other payware airplanes. Anyone maybe knows how this can be solved? I would be really pleased to know..

Hello everybody, I just installed the last P3D v2.5 dand add all my Add-ons, everythings works fine. I just had to install IVAO, so I downloaded the lastest Ivap version and installed it. Than I installed all MTL. I have the realityxp radar, but i don't know hot to put it in the learjet 35. In the picture, the radar next to it is the realityp radar. I've read FlySimWare's instructions, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi Folks, Any advanced FSUIPC users out there ? Since Win10 - I stopped using my proprietary CH Control Manager software as it seemed to cause more problems than it solved (BSOD) - and support of said program seems to have stopped completely - so I've lost the old designated [shift] button to allow a single button on a joystick have multiple functions when used with the [shift] button... I've read through the "Advanced FSUICP User Guide" and I gather the designation of the [shift] button is possible - but cannot be done in the interface as it needs to be done by editing the config file... I'd simply like to designate a single button on my joystick to act…

Yesterday night, I finally got the MilViz Beaver up and running, and I don't know whether it's this bird, but some of the instruments look horrible with ragged edges. My AA setting is FXAA: Off and MSAAx8, nothing else. It's acceptable if DL was to be enabled for PMDG. But boys, it's bad. My GTX980 is OK, not great, but plunking down a 1000 bucks for GTX1080Ti with not really great results as reported by others is really not smart. I know P3D has an inherent AA problem. So the option is to bite it and bear, or do something else. It's really is hopeless. What's work for you?
