Whenever I try and land on the 28s at SFO, the plane seems to hit an invisible mesh of some sort and instantly is on the ground, like when you hit the seawall. I'm well above it, and have 2 whites and 2 reds on the PAPISs, any idea what is causing this?

Please, could anyone help me out here ... The blurries, especially over GEN and GES and UK from ORBX are killing me. I've tried every trick in the book, and read extensively across the Internet and tried every tweak and suggestion and still when I fly over any 'third layer' of scenery, either ORBX or other photoreal scenery then it's blurries all over the place! I've reinstalled P3D4.1 already ... it did not help I've disabled FS_Global_NG_FTX ... it didn't help I've 'migrated' a few times in FTX Central ... it didn't help I've added TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT= all the way from 40 to 150 as suggested on other forums ... it didn't help I've …

Just reinstalled Prepar3d 4.1 and my sceneries. I must not have uninstalled some of them correctly mainly FlightBeam titles. Getting a scenery config dialog when I start Prepar3d saying that the areas can not be found. They are present in the scenery.cfg file but the only thing there is the title and a Active=False entry. I guess I need to know how to uninstall (what to delete) them properly so that when I reinstall them I can reactivate them. They did not ask for activation keys when I reinstalled. I've posted in the Flightbeam forum but as yet have not gotten an answer.... Thanks, Steve G.

This is currently on sale for only €21 at FSPS Store. Is this worth buying, or is it something I'll probably never bother using? I mostly fly modern airliners, but I was thinking this might make a nice change. I've been using TrackIR successfully with Prepar3d 4.1 for quite some time. Lately however I have been experiencing "lockups" in certain scenarios. Just did an experiment. I started Prepar3d and loaded the default scenario but changed the aircraft to the piper cub. Everything worked fine. I then loaded the FSlabs A320 into the same scenario. Fine. Then I changed the airport to Aerosoft,s Frankfurt with the A320. TrackIR worked for a few seconds and then locked up. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on. I recently installed the Virtualcol Saabs. I have the new patch, update and FSX zip ... all installed. The plane is working perfectly. But since installation, I am getting an error message every time I load a scenario in P3D V4.1 now ... it says: ================================= S:\P3D_V4\Gauges\dsd+p3d_xml_Sound_x64.dll Config File not found: Using Default: S:\P3D_V4\Gauges\dsd+p3d_xml_Sound_x64.ini ================================= I simply press the OK button and it goes away and nothing "bad" happens. Is there a way to get rid of this error message? (By the way, this is a VERY WELL DONE aircraft ... one of my new favorites!)

Hi, Is anybody flying these planes??? If so maybe you can tell me how to turn on the cockpit lights?? They will come on as it gets darker, but in the north darkness comes at 4PM. I bought this plane for P3DV4, since there is not much else in terms of jetliners, I paid 12 euros and it performs OK. However I am using the GTN750 for navigation, the FMC lacks everywhere. Thanks

I recently had to reinstall windows using the system reset feature of Windows 10. I noticed a subtle but noticeable loss of FPS in P3D. My settings are similar to what they used to be. What could have caused this?

I am posting in this forum mainly because I am seeking general feedback regarding P3D v4.1 before I make the purchase sooner than I was planning to. FSX is mentioned in my subject only because Microsoft today has informed me that it is no longer compatible with Windows 10 since the Creators Update (now at version 1709) came out in September - I no longer can operate FSX-SE due to so many crashes and error messages. Hi, Taxi 2 Gate LFPG P3D 4.1 Has no runways, just high walls around . I did run FTX Global vector Orbx confiqurator also Make runways but still the same problem. Anyone to help please?

Hello everyone, I am new to P3D V4 and the sim stutters or skips frame every 2-3 secs and this happens after I install a preset using PTA or apply cloud texture through REX 4 or add a new scenery or texture but the stutter disappears if I delete the Preaprd3d.cfg file and let the sim create a new one. My question is that why every time i have to create a new .cfg file as creating a new graphics settings every time after installing scenery is quite painful ? Deleting only the shaders cache folders does nothing.

Hello everyone, So when I got back from work today I loaded up p3d as usual but when clicking on Select Aircraft both of my MOnitors temporarily went black, the kind of going black it does when you Install the Nvidia GeForce drivers (Mine are up to date). Then It let me select the plane altough the Box normally showing the Plane was black, so I selected and Airport and started my Flight. It was loading normally got to 100% and then just closed. I do not know why that is at all, P3D was woorkign absoloutely fine yesterday and I did not change anything since then. Hello all, I have just completed posting and finishing up getting my Saitek panels all to work with SPADNEXT. I was very happy. Everything worked and everything was fine. Then I loaded VOXATC. All my panels went kaput! Nothing works again. Any advice? Should I forget VOXATC? I was trying to get an interactive ATC to use with my sim that's why I picked it. I am in the US Northeast (Cleveland, Ohio) area and would like to practice ATC communication during my flights. Any advice?

I am having trouble finding a set of Cloud Art settings that closely resemble the usual gloomy British skies. My current sets from all the hundreds of possible combinations are:- Instinctive 1/Mirror/Delicate. Suggestions from other users will be most welcome, as my current sets still don't seem right. Hi! I have lost my installer for the turbo duke for P3D V3 and cannot get it down from realairs homepage, i still have the license details and can successfully install V2. Does anyone know where I can find that installer/update?

P3D v3 always loads the scenario page with both year and month wrong (maybe time too..didn't check that) Each time requires a reset to system time or whatever is wanted. I want it to always start with proper info. Anyone know how? Neal H

I can happily report that Nvidia 388.31's are working quite well for me, gained an average of 2 frames (been ages since such a thing happened) and chaseplane likes 'em also (in the panning department). Runway textures on take off are doing very well.

As most of you know I am using photoscenery only instead of LC based scenery. The only photoscenery which is not up to the standard of the others is Mega Scenery Earth Germany. Many places are too bright. I made some new parts to overlay the most too bright places but it could be better. So I bought FTX Germany : this looks good from april - end of august! with it’s Spring-Summer textures.However , autumn and winter are way too dark. If I modify ground brightness/saturation all of my other photoscenery becomes too light/oversaturated. Since way back I've been having what seems to be some kind of elevation issue at UK2000 EGLL where loading a flight into this airport causes the aircraft to "hang in the air" a couple of feet above the ground just when the flight finishes loading resulting in the aircraft "dropping" down on the ground a split second later causing the flight to crash unless you have crash detection in P3D disabled. I've seen this already when using P3Dv2 and I now see the same issue in P3Dv4. Hi there, I have P3D V4 and I'm trying to install an older addon and am getting the message "Addon requires Prepar3D V3 to be installed." I have followed the youtube tutorial below but this has not worked - the registry appears correct and have set the SetupPath to my V4 directory. Any ideas?

I recently downloaded P3D V4. The sim loads fine, however when I try to access any of the settings menus it ctd. I have seen several posts, but no resolution. Does anyone know a fix?
