for the ram just get 2x32 sticks of whatever cl 30 ddr5 6000 ram you can swing for. Paying for the faster ram will provide next to a negligible user experience improvement. cl 30 6000 is the sweet spot for ddr5 at the moment. Just did the same for my setup....9800x3d will be here monday for me to drop into my new setup.

Agreed. Very little hiccups for me, the most annoying is the mouse being unable to interact with things randomly in VR, otherwise it has been a good upgrade. The lighting and clouds (especially at night) are amazing now.

Yup. Been playing the Career in VR. No real issues for me besides the random mouse bug where you cant click on anything.

Luckily I am still rocking windows 10. That being said, the only real upgrade paths are significantly more expensive. If someone brought out a good upgrade that was at $600 a headset it would be an easy purchase for me.

The nose wheel cant turn 90 degrees in it. 70 degrees max with the tiller. Working as intended.

The perks for us ponying up the money a year before it was "ready" 😛 In all seriousness, it makes good sense. They have a small QA team who gets the initial new build. That then passes onto us CE customers, which is a much much larger group (and quite vocal in our CE area of their discord). This prevents builds from going to the full public with major patch induced issues. The opposite of this is like Flysimware does it...I will preface this that I own all the Flysimware planes in P3D and now in MSFS. HUGE fan of theirs. But he also tends to dump new releases multiple times a week/day at one point and this introduced a ton of patch induced errors/issues. Yes he reacts quickly, but if that went to a theoretical thousand customers for feedback before mass release the dumb little mistake would have been caught prior. The CE patch is good. Much nicer pitch/pitch trim behavior. Colin has another small one incoming to polish some things and if that is good I think a patch encompassing both will be out for normal customers.

To be fair to the MD11's...by all accounts they are very pitch sensitive IRL and new pilots to the type were prone to overcorrections on them. I'm not dismissing your observations or feelings. I have been flying it in MSFS for a while as a CE owner. I do think it could be toned down just a bit to account for most users not using FFB yokes but then we get into the realm of "realism" vs "what feels good in a sim", along with a myraid of users with different hardware and different ideas on what "feels" right. What one person deems good or perfect another deems faulty.

IS it me, or does the fuel flow seem a tad high..otherwise this is great. WT has been a godsend to flight simulation.

As cool as this could be....their recent 314 leaves a bit to be desired. This may be decent for those who don't have the Longitude already. I have spent a lot of time in the longitude and frankly a half baked X just doesn't excite me as much as something else could (like say a hawker or a big Embraer Praetor etc)

I always hand fly the sid/departure up through 10000 agl or fl180 depending on the plane, afterwards i engage the AP as setup via the fmc. Landings i hand fly from about 15-20 miles out unless conditions arnt permitting. I enjoy the feeling of acomplishment when you make that -50fpm greased landing, get all the bonus points and know you did that yourself, versus letting the computer do everything. Whats the point of flying if you never actually fly the plane? Seems like wasted time imo
