This video is unavailable. This video is unavailable. This video is unavailable. This video is unavailable. I’m over all the grifting from Government and Corporations. Unregulated capitalism is not making me feel great again. What happened to the days when product creation meant something good and innovative … now it’s grifting, corruption, consumer manipulation, and insider trading? $900 (probably $1500 retail) for zero gain. I used to think voting with my wallet mattered, but it doesn’t (and yes I do have a lot of A…

Seems to be the new Nr. 1, even overtakes the 9950X3D in MSFS2024 according to THW: https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/amd-ryzen-7-9850x3d-review/2 Still waiting for the 9950X3D2, it might set the bar even higher by overtaking the lead from the 9850X3D again. We will see 😉

First things first. I'm feeling a rare sense of gratitude and blessing while I write these lines. My first post ever in this forum was back in 2005 and my last post was in 2011, when my first kid was one years old. Tom Allensworth was still well alive, unique, hard-working, influential visionary for the Flight Simulation community... So I'm back 15 years later, in my 50's now (time flies!), eager to contribute my personal findings in an all-inclusive post about optimal MSFS 2020 settings in 2026 that can guarantee, all things considered, best image quality and no performance compromise (fluid motion, no stutters) for MSFS 2020. These are my current PC specs: …

I have this counter of sorts which runs continuously on the top right corner of my monitor. It's running in a new Win 11 desktop PC which has an AMD 7800X3D cpu and RTX 5080 gpu. Does anyone know what is causing this? It is an overlay. It stays on top of overything. I'd like to disable it.

Hello, I'm thinking about upgrading my PC to replace my current setup, which is starting to show its age 😉 (See signature). 1-What do you think of the following PC setup, considering I’m running at 1080p? 2-Will I be able to run P3Dv5 and, in the near future, likely MSFS2024 without any issues if I max out all the settings? 3-I mainly use FSLABS (All Bus and Concorde), PMDG, A2A, MILVIZ, Leonardo, and so on Carte mère MSI B850 Gaming Plus wifi6E (wifi + BT) 164.00 € Proc AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 289.00 € Ventirad Be Quiet Pure Rock 3 Black + kryonaut Extreme 36.00 € 32Go DDR5 5600Mhz Kingston Fury Beast / Crucial PRO (2x16Go) 419.00 € …

Hello, I'm trying to decide between 2 laptops for p3d within my budget. The first laptop is a Dell xps 9510, it has an i7 11800h processor, with an rtx 3050 45watts, 16gb ram, and 512gb ssd. The second option is a razer blade 2019, it has an i7 9750h, gtx 1660ti 80 watts, 16gb ram, and 512 gb ssd. The xps has a much better cpu, but the razer has the better gpu. I have p3d v4. I wish I can go for something more powerful, but that's all I can afford

Well, well, well…😎 Seems like our fears of an AI exec abandoning Xbox hardware are unfounded: Sounds neat, but also sounds like price might also move up a tier. Personally, I’d rather have a hardware-refreshed Xbox X v2 for cost-effectiveness.

I have i5-10600K (overclocked) + 32 GB DDR4 + RTX 4070. Output to three monitors, each 2560×1440. In many 3D scenarios FPS is dropped to 15-20 and almost always shows “Limited by mainthread”! I want to upgrade the CPU. I’m considering two options: 1. Intel i7-14700K with old my DDR4 (need new CPU + motherboard) 2. Ryzen 7 7800X3D (need new CPU + motherboard + DDR5) Option 2 would be better, but it’s twice as expensive because I would need to buy DDR5 (and it’s very expensive right now). Which option would you recommend? And what kind of fps increase will I get in these options, approximately?

I’m not at all good at building PC’s and won’t even attempt it. The last two I had were built by Jetline and so is this new one. I’m gonna post the specs, will these specs allow Ultra settings? It’s already built and shipped so I can’t have them modify it. I’m just asking what people might think about the performance. Thanks. My specs are in my signature. What would I expect to gain in 2024 if I upgraded from a 3080TI to a 5070TI? I fly primarily airliners (Fenix) and have my settings at high/ultra. I don't fly in 4k nor do I use VR. Currently, I get brief stutters turning on the ground and on final into 3rd party airports (i don't fly in our out of default). I use Active Sky, Rex Atmos, PSXT w/ Real Traffic. Would I notice any difference and if so, what would that be? Thanks!

Got a scare with a BSOD the other day on my 5 year old system. See sig. Tried a few time restarting but as soon as there was any load BSOD. Looking at HWMonitor I could see that one core in particular was spiking to 93C I though that was the end of my system CPU! I uploaded the Crash dump file to Grok and it suggested it was almost certainly TIM degradation. Sure enough I redid the TIM and problem solved. Grok tell me you need to change that stuff every 2 to 3 years I use Coollaboraties Liquid Pro. I had CPU Max Temp set to 93 in my Bios so at least I got a warning! I though CPU TIM was once and done for the life of the system.…

Hello, my current GPU is a Radeon RX 6600. For some reason, when I run MSFS 2024, the hotspot temperature on my GPU jumps as high as 224°F, even when I'm just in the main menu, and I'm unsure what is causing it. The weird thing is, I can load 2020 at KLAX in the PMDG 777, and yet the GPU temp stays around only 130-140°F even after a few minutes, but if I load 2024, it seems to immediately cause the temp to jump, which I can feel coming from the PC and will drop immediately as soon as I exit the game. I know logic would suggest that it could be a problem with the thermal paste not being as effective on the heatsink for the GPU, but I don't get why the problem doesn't happe…

Hello, so I have a Radeon RX 6600, and earlier this year I ran into an issue where I was playing Flight Simulator 2024, and I left the room for a little bit, and when I came back, my pc was off. Then, a couple of weeks later I noticed my computer was off when I woke up and wouldn't turn on. I took it to a repair place and they said that the MB had gone bad and replaced it with a new one. After I got the computer again, I decided to start checking the temps of everything, and I noticed that when I loaded the flight sim, my GPU hotspot temp would shoot up immediately and sometimes go as high 220-230F even when just in the menu but the GPU temp itself would only hover around…

I bought 64G DDR5 (2x32 crucial) a month or so ago for 400 CDN which I thought was way too high Today I thought 128G would be better so off I raced to amazon only to find the same ram was 818 (CND) Some pairs (2X32) were 1200 $$$ CDN All due to AI demand of higher end RAM
