Hello, since HDR is automatically enabled when using EA/trueSKY, I wonder what the best settings would be for best realism. Right now I keep them at default (all @ 1.00). Thanks a lot!

Hey there!I'm currently still running P3Dv4.5 and I'm pretty happy with it. I plan to get a new pc early next year, as soon as GPU availability gets better again.Now my question to you guys having already done so: Is there any reason not to upgrade to v5? Apart from addons that have not been updated to be compatible of course (PMDG 777, Milviz PC6 and others...).Specifically, are there any weird stability or performance issues with v5?Thanks! regards,Raffael

With the introduction with a lot of partners in ORBX central I find it really a mess, I want to use it only for ORBX products... Is there a setting to disable all those partner stuff. What was a convenient way of managing my ORBX stuff has become a real mess! Anyone thinking it's useful, and if so why , maybe I'm missing the point 🤣

Hi there. I'd like to make my flights continuous and like to always depart from the latest airport I fly into. Is there and random flight generator that can generate my next destination? I'd like to make it interesting and fly into randomly generated place. Thanks! Projectfly doesn't really work that well as we're limited to airlines and certain schedules?

I am getting bugged for present ideas, so which are the two best, up-to-date airports for subject simulator? Back in FSX, probably Flightbeam's KSFO would be on the list, but have no idea what's actually up-to-date without issues now with things changing so fast. If one were suitable for trans-Atlantic flights, that would be a bonus, but just looking for two real gems for airline travel. Thanks.

I have found that there is a Vancouver CYVR by FSimStudios on sale at €20 at Orbx, that is twice the price of FSDT CYVR. For some personal reasons I don't want to buy CYVR FSDT product. I've never bought anything from FSimStudios but the screenshots look good and there's some additional scenery around the airport (city, etc.). How does FSimStudios compare to FlyTampa, Flightbeam, Taxi2Gate, Pacsim products (which I own)? How about FPS? Thanks.

I want to delete a handful of autogen objects in a specific area of ORBx TrueEarth GB North (near Kirkwall airport), but I do not know which tile I need to open in Autogen Annotator so that I can delete the relevant items. Can someone help me to identify the relevant photoscenery tile? How do I work out which one I need to open without trawling through every single file?

Just wanted to buy their new Beijing Airport scenery and noticed that they're no longer on Simmarket even though I still have their majestic ZGGG. Any idea what has happened?

How can I restart P3D from where I hast left the programme? For example when I leave the programme at Airport xxxx and Gate xx then on the next session P3D will load up at the same location. Using “Previous Flight” as the Default start up doesnt seem to achieve this.

Hello guys, I updated active sky to its new version 7652. I also uninstall and reinstall ASCA to version 7651. If I want to start AS I got an Error "Older ASCA content has been detected within your simulator path form a previous ASCA+ASP4/AS16 installation..." But i uninstall everything before. If I uninstall ASCA and start AS I got the same issue. Everythin was reinstalled twice. AS Version 7638 worked for me

Is it possible to run P3D on separate networked computers with the graphics divorced from the aircraft like professional military and commerical flight simulators? The demands of producing accurate flight dynamics and fast graphics would warrant it if it's doable.

I'm not using any third-party shaders. EA at night is totally dark, the stars are super-faint. And for some reason some light is reflecting on my plane. Don't see a moon either. I've flushed the shaders to be sure but again: I never even installed third party ones. Any ideas what's going on there?

Hello all, I recently installed a scenery I haven’t used before on my laptop. I noticed that my FPS is way down then what it used to be. But the same day I installed that scenery, I also started using FS Global Real Weather. Off of experience with FSGRW, I don’t remember it impacting my performance that much. But if it’s the scenery I installed, can it have an effect on performance even if I’m not flying near the scenery? I took off today with 5 or less FPS. It was really bad. Thank you for any advice you can give me. I don’t mind uninstalling the scenery. I just want to know if it can have a permanent effect on the performance.

Hey guys, wasn’t a lot into flight simulation lately, due to much work. Can smbdy tell me if there are any news on business jets for the simulators? Not talking about carenado, I mean business jets with system depth etc. . I got the Milviz King Air, FSW Falcon 50/Lear35 Are there any news on eaglesoft or Milviz Lear60? I ended simming about one year ago. I un-installed everything. Now I want to fly again. I installed Orbx Central and logged in. In my account many of the airports are listed that I purchased previously. I downloaded them but can't find where they're installed. Also, I had purchased all of the North America Territories but they are not listed in my purchases. Orbx was very different a year ago.

Hello all, Captain Sim announced. A sale starting tomorrow, with 20$ off of all base packs of their aircraft. I still believe this is too steep for me and I'm unlikely to go for it, but that said, I'm curious what the state of their 763 is? How functional is it these days, and, importantly, what's performance like? Especially VRAM usage? Any insight is appreciated!

Hi Guys, New to P3Dv4.5 from FSXSE.I love the sim better performance all round but one little thing is really annoying and i cant seem yo correct it, lines when i look out of the VC windows they seem to move in and out when i zoom the camera.I have all the recommended lines in the camera config,clipmode minimum,but they are still visable,anyone got any ideas to help. Hello, I tried using EA for a night flight yesterday and experienced a strange thing that I can only describe as “rolling darkness”. Basically the clouds would look normal, then morph into darker clouds, then back to normal and repeat. I was flying above the clouds when this happened with a bright moon. Is this a known issue and more importantly is there a fix? This was my first time dabbling in EA in months. I turned off EA and completed my flight. I’m on V5.1 with latest hotfix and using Active Sky latest version.

Hi everyone I've been looking for a good bizjet for P3Dv4 for sometime and have been reading some very favourable opinions on Flysimware's Falcon and Learjet. Since both are on sale now, I'm thinking of getting one (both is not an option unfortunately). I get the feeling the Lear is more popular that the 50, but then again has been around for longer. I'd love to hear from those who own either or both - what you like or don't like about them, about the flight dynamics, any bugs, etc. Cheers

Over the past months I've enjoyed UK2000 Liverpool and Manchester. Today I encountered a very nice sale over at the UK2000 site. So I picked up London City and Luton.
