Hi all- I'm currently the owner of a haze layer I can't get rid of. Not using EA. EnvShade diabled. EnvTex clouds only, no sky settings. I'm using P3DV5 stock settings in Weather as you can see (unlimited). With these settings, as shown with the Lear pic, that ain't unlimited visibility :.) Any ideas on how to restore true unlimited visibility? Thanks, Mark

I've turned off the traffic in P3D itself (I was told to), and made sure that there was full traffic in utLive 2. At most I get only one or two aircraft in British Airways colours at Heathrow. I get 100% crash (NVIDIA card stopped working) when I drag a pop up panel (like PMDG OVERHEAD panel, or EFB in 747-8) on to second monitor and try to re-size it larger. The error only happens when attempting to re-size the window. (I need to make larger b/c pop up panels are very small. Any advice.

P3D v5HF2, I9 9900 2080ti. So lately I began to have a stutter (very quick) every minute. I went through troubleshooting everything I could read: Settings down, simlink off, ASP3D off, rexsky force off, chaseplane off, closing background programs even used different aircraft. Still had the issue. So I thought what have I added lately? Realturb and FSUIPC. I tried different settings and off still no luck. So I thought again what else is new? I added a new Honeywell Alpha yoke. So I turned off (USB hub) my joystick, alpha yoke, logitech throttle and saiteck rudder pedals. The stutters stopped. I then, after trial and error, narrowed it down to the Alpha yoke. My …

For most of my scenery I have them installed in the Perpar3D v5 Add-ons folder that is located in Windows Document folder, but payware scenery installs scenery directly to the P3D v5 root folder. Should I install all payware scenery in the Perpar3D v5 Add-ons folder? Or leave it the way it is and install them in the P3D root folder?

Hey Guys. I can't trace back to when this started, but I'm pretty sure it started in one of two places. Either when I updated to 20H2 or more likely when I went from V5 to V5.1 HF1. The stutters are not constant it's weird. But I've had them in the 717, NGXu, FSLabs now. Had them in day or night. It looks like if it's not a setting/software thing it's the CPU and not the GPU. In V5 i was butter smooth. Now I've noticed on the ground during taxi I'll see choppiness. Tonight I pushed back from the gate at YYZ. My locked 30 was smooth and then almost immediately during pushback i saw it dip to 7. Then about 5 seconds later it shot right back to the locked 30. I'm…

Hey guys don’t know if that has been answered? but using the qw 787 landing lights taxi light really bright up on runway taxi way and at the gates. does this need to be adjusted by LM?? Or QW? the latest update of my qw 787 did address nav lights and beacon lights. thanks mike

Hi everybody, Last year I bought more than half a dozen of sceneries but only 1 aircraft (the PMDG NGXu in december). I've decided 2 years ago to fly only high end quality aircrafts and my stable currently includes two A2A G/A aircrafts (C172 and Bonanza) and two airliners (PMDG 777 and 737). And I'm quite happy with that on my P3D v4.5 🙂 Next year, if I get bored or want for a bit of change, I might get the Xtreme Prototypes' Learjet. How about you?

Hi fellow simmers , I noticed i get CTD´s without any error messages when trying to save a flight or changing anything in the P3D control-menu with the PMDG NGXU. These CTD disappears after a while inflight so it might be something related to an add-on in airport radial like SODE or GSX or who knows. Anyone who have similar experience ? Thanks Michael Moe

Hey guys hoping everyone is having a lovely 2020 so far. I am just wondering why my GSX's ground services do not align with the Fslabs A321 doors whilts GSX's ground services align well with the doors in other aircraft (i've run the FSDT updater). Hope somebody can help. Thanks

Hello, Can someone explain to me what is causing this weird flashing cloud issue shown in the video I recorded? It looks like some sort of clashing with the clouds and the terrain. The only recent addon installed that I would think is causing this is Active Sky Cloud Art.

Hello I have recently bought a new desktop and purchased P3DV5 - The sim works some of the time but occasionally get an error message why trying to run the sim - Problem with shortcut - The item 'prepar3d.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. I have to repair p3d to run the sim but the error eventually comes back?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

there was a hiccup with the FSDT server in Australia where i live, it was giving me download speeds of around 18KB/sec, it is now back to 4MB/sec (on my link), looking forward to enjoy my recent $purchases from the FSDT sale, heaps of new P3Dv5+ airports, will work very well with how i've setup Traffic Global & Super Traffic Board (& no MediaFire style downloads required) - i like supporting payware 3PDs!...

Hello everyone after a horrible mistake purchasing a Honeycomb Bravo throttle, and the failure of it to work properly I have managed to totally screw up my P3D install. Advice in the hardware forum was to delete P3D and start again from scratch. While totally unappealing it looks like I have almost no other options so am asking the best way to uninstall everything so i don't have problems when everything is being put back on. I have a number of sceneries that have been installed via the XML method which i am not really competent to install the others but can someone please explain what is the best method to uninstall and then reinstall everything i have ta…

A couple of times recently I've come across a situation where P3D5 appears to stutter every second (for about half a second) repeatedly. The only way I can stop this happening is by exiting the sim. It generally happens a couple of hours into a long flight (but has also happened just before takeoff). My framerates are still high and VRAM management is good (see screenshot https://imgur.com/YYT4std). Any ideas on how to stop this happening?

Hi, one thing that MSFS taught me to do is buying addon airport for Prepar3D 🙂 . I´m on V5 but wanted to ask and share your good freeware airports. I would like to share two I came across with you: LKMT Ostrava-Mosnov, nice freeware. Hi! I just redownloaded the QW757 to see if the aircraft would work on my computer.The installation went fine. When I enter the route data, everything works. But on the "legs" page, not the whole selected route is shown. When I want to fly from KSEA 16L to KSFO 28R for example, the last waypoint shown is MLBEC. This results in the aircraft is not lined up properly for approach for runway 28R.When I fly PMDG 737 or CaptainSim 757, the runway of the arrival airport and including the whole selected approach is shown on the legs page.Does anyone maybe know what is wrong with this?

Hi! I am looking for a highly realistic aircraft with good graphics. I found this aircraft (please see the attached link). The graphics are outstanding and the avionics and flight dynamics seems to be as close to reality as possible. Will you recommend this great flying ship? Hey fellow pilots, im am using P3Dv5 with ASP3D, ASCA and Envtex. Sometimes i want to test some of the Visuals of Enhanced Atmospheric. 1. Now afaik if you switch EA on it automaticly disables ASCA. Regardless if it is running or not. Does this still show me proper EA or is there some sort of leftovers of ASCA stuff? Do i need to put ASCA and Envtex to a state of default (like the restore button) and than activate EA in order to have a proper setup. Or can i simply switch EA on and in later sessions off again to show me my proper ASCA-Envtex setup, without restoring. 2. How does Envtex performs with EA enabled. So there wont be any sky textures an…

Anyone else have a problem with FSDT Live Update (Coutal) distribution? i have wasted a whole day installing PHNL for P3D (got stuck on unrelated KORD MFS update), 4 hours of my life gone. Unfortunately, to support @virtuali, i purchased another about 10 FSDT products from his sale at Simmarket. We'll see if that was a big mistake.............

I want to give some accolades to SierraSim. I have several of their airports, which I find very good and reasonably priced. Also, they frequently have nice sales of 40% and even 50% off. I had an issue with their MHLM Airport and contacted them over the weekend. Within 24 hours I got a response from them, and I had a fix this morning. Great support in my book, especially considering these are not expensive sceneries. Kudos to SierraSim for responding with a fix so quickly. Cheers, Pete
