To day I experienced CTD for the first time in 5.1. At startup the sim stops at 74% when the text changes to «Creating world wide weather». The screen twinkle for half a second and then it CTD. Everything was ok two days ago, and the only change I did on thursday was to update Envshade. I use Asp3d and Asca, but the sim crash both if I start it with or without the weather addon. Ihave also deleted shaders, and reinstalled client. I have seached forums for a solution, but I have not found anything. Does anyone have an advice what to do? Tor Arild

Hey there, I'm not sure about I'm writtign in the corect forum, but I would try. I and my friend would make this two Norwegian aircraft EI-FVK and LN-DYD but we have a problem, I can't find the correct picture of this aircrafts tails to make it for the PMDG NGXu. We have search and search much on google, we have look on planespotters.net, Jetphotos, flickr andAirlines.net. My friend say we need the orginal picture of this aircrafts tail logos in 3 or 4k. And how we get it I don't know??? But I hope some of you guys out ther can help us to find a great picture or help us to give a tip to how we can paint the tail logo on the paint kit with out at 4k picture.…

Fired up the Majestic Q400 (1.021 Pro x64) for the first time in P3D v5.1 HF1, and first three flights in a row I got a CTD right at liftoff. Troubleshooting points strongly to FSPS' FFTF Dynamic (v5.1.12.26829) as the culprit--disabling it eliminates the CTDs, replacing it results in the same problem appearing again. I have FFTF set to AGL height mode, so seeing a crash at liftoff is what made me suspicious of FFTF Dynamic, given that it sets FFTF as a function of altitude above ground level--it would start making changes at that phase of flight. I'm not seeing the issue with other acft, but it's repeatable with the Q400.

It's working really terrible. I request clearance to taxi, and tells me yes, I have clearance, but by the time I get to the runway, it's taken away, then when I get ATC up again, it only gives me options for vfr, and it withdraws my real plan. Even if I go into the area the create the plan again, it takes away the plan.. How do I get ifr mode from there again? It doesn't seem to like giving me ifr ? Gaz

Hello, I have the problem, that HDR cannot be unticked if EA Mode is used. I don't like the HDR lighting, so if there a possibility to untik it with EA? I have tried to do that directly in prepar3d.cfg, but no result in sim. Thanks. Best regards Oliver

Hi all, I have an ultra-wide Samsung screen and play P3D in windowed mode (1920 x1080) in the middel of the screen. However, especially while streaming, I do not want other windows / apps to overlap P3D. Thus, want to have the P3D window always on top, so that even if I move other applications above P3D, they will stay below the P3D window. I am using a tool called "always on top". It works perfectly fine for other apps, like chrome etc. But P3D just wont stay on top... Anybody has any idea? Thanks in advance Mx

Hi All, Having a problem launching P3D v4.5 I have recently purchased a new monitor and since Ive used it P3D doesnt load. The P3D splash screen comes on only to lead to a blank screen. I noticed also in task manager that P3D is running under a "background application"? I have updated graphics drivers and I have attempted a fresh P3D.cfg but nothing seems to want to make the sim load? After the splash screen vanishes the sim doesnt appear in the task bar, and it just appears to be running in the background process in task manager and thats it. But the sim vanishes from any kind of view? Can anyone help? Cheers, Alex

Hello, Kind of a dumb question here, but is it a bad thing if GPU usage is at 100% usage? I have been playing with my settings and so far reducing tessellation to medium, water detail to medium/high, and shadow quality/distance to medium has almost completely eliminated stuttering and brought my gpu down to 70-75% usage. Everything else like draw distance, mesh resolution, LOD, and special effects are able to be set at very high or max without issues. This likely means that gpu was being overworked before I brought down the settings listed above, correct?

Wird es Tomatoshade für das P3D v5 geben? Finden Sie heraus, dass dieses Tool wirklich fehlt, die Nacht allein ist in V5 viel zu hell. I installed a clean Win 10 & Prepar3D v4.5. Everything seems to be working just fine until I try to install third party addon scenery. I have never had this problem before! Any suggestion's.sidler

Hi there, I am running P3D V5.1 and purchased LEBL V2.1 on Simmarket. All works fine, also the animated gates. However I have no AI traffic ( slider in P3D 50%) but the whole airefield is absolutely empty... ( except my own airplane) Any tips and idea what can be wrong ? rgds

I have Prepared with administrator rights and it's on my D Drive. When I click on the icon the Opening Screen will show for some seconds, then it disappears.

I'm looking to add this to my Spanish airports. Looks good for its age however using v5 and it's not officially compatible. Can someone confirm this is working flawlessly in v5 (day and night)? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I recall that 1 or 2 years ago, the developer of Chase Plane had potential plans to include a video recording feature. Do you know if this is still on the agenda? I'm asking here because it seems that since the developer implemented a dedicated support system, he does not visit or post much in the Chase Plane support forum here, on AVSIM.

Just updated my AIG AI Manager to v0.8.4.3, it works fine, no issues... If I want to uninstall a flight plan what's the proper way to go about that..?? I don't see an "uninstall" selection in any of the GUI drop down menus, but if you right click on an installed flight plan it gives you an option to delete, is that the correct way to uninstall a FP...?? Any tips on getting FlyTampa KLAS to be playable in V5 with the PMDG 747? I use reasonable settings in V5 yet if I spend anytime looking at the city my VRAM quickly reaches 6.8-6.9. Vegas is the only place I have any issues, even FsDreamTeam KLAX is pretty decent for me. Specs: Core i7 9700K 4.8GHZ 32GB Ram RTX 2070 Super 8GB Windows 10 2004

I never had this happen before. I was just testing my new system flying the R22 around some different sceneries to make sure everything was setup properly. I'm flying around KMCO and I land near one of the terminals. I popped into avatar mode (which I rarely do) and was just mesing around. I was going to use the GSX relocate function to reposition at the current gate. Well, I clicked one of the runways instead. Poof! the R22 was gone, and I was standing alone at the gate. I slewed the avatar around to all 8 runways and I never found it. I had to leave so I exited P3D without figuring out how to rejoin the two. It was actually very fun slewing the avatar around the ai…
