I have a shortcut P3D v4 on my desktop, whenever i use this to open P3D to go fly, my P3D root folder opens too...weired!!!!!!! Bob

Hi everyone, i bit the bullet and purchased the PMDG NGXu but have realised that i have no longer got a working radar. Yes I am aware it only picks up precipitation and not clouds and during heavy rain i get no returns. I have reinstalled AS for P3D4 and done a reinstall of the NGXu with no luck. Not sure what else to try, but any ideas appreciated. Cheers

I had an old FSX airport scenery installed into my P3Dv4 and recently saw the opportunity to get a newer and more up to date scenery for that certain airport. I managed to remove the old one but still there's something that is not right in that place. It's been many years and I don't remember which files were copied (I remember struggling a bit to make things look better), but the thing is the surrounding area of this airport still has some kind of addon landclass, urban textures and autogen (houses and small buildings which in P3Dv4 look kinda dark, the urban textures are the opposite as they're too bright depending on the sunlight). Hi... I've just purchased STINN Pacific Mumbai VABB but on install I can see two sceneries. It looks like the default is coming through... https://imgur.com/j8ow3X3 I've checked the scenery library and can only find one VABB. Any news about this error haunting the GPUs in P3Dv5? The "DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG" seems to occur with some aircraft maybe not completely made compatible with V5. But this is just my opinion. I would like to know some more about it. Regards,

Upgrading PC any day now to get my hands on MSFS. P3D5 is on list as well to have some continuity for my FSX addons. How ready is P3D out of the box. Is it only FPS and stability that I will get? Otherwise is it the same flat desert as FSX was? Do I need to invest to global textures, landclass, elevation data etc.

The holiday sales are on the horizon and the incoming pandemic wave probably means lots of sim time. Title says it all. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

Hello I recently bought ezdok v3 and the rudder keeps yawing the aircraft left and right constantly while my aircraft is airborne. Could someone help me fix this? Thanks

So here is a weird one. Suddenly my P3d message text is unreadable. I use certain addons like GSX that require the use of the message box, so its a problem for me. Its like the fonts were replaced by boxes. I have tried a lot of things: updated video drivers, reinstalled client and content, deleted shaders, p3d.cfg, reinstalled GSX, FSUIPC, Simconnect, started the sim windowed, changed AA and AS settings, but no sucess so far. Please if somebody could point me in some direction will be appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Hello, ASP3D have much troubles with 5.1HF1 (in EA Mode) so often no clouds where should be any, so often visibility ist not acurate, clouds moving faster then my plane,... the only thing what works corrrect ist the wind. Question: when i will buy FSGRW to use with Prosim737, will work the weather radar in my 737 v3? thanks for reply thomas

G'day all, I've just got a copy of this hugely fun little aircraft and have a quick question. I've noticed that after start and during the flight there is a red "Starter" indication on the annunciator panel. Normally a red anything isn't ideal in aviation but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Does anybody know if there is something I can be doing to change this, or even if I need to? I Installed a Add on Livery for the PMDG B-737 Ngxu BBJ (file "texture.n.737.m") (the livery was installed using PMDG's Operations Center) Wheni loaded P3DV4, and the B-737 all of the instrument displays were blank and none of the controls worked, including all the switches etc. I loaded the B-747 and got the same result, However the B-777 works fine. I uninstalled and deleted all files related to the B-737 and B-747 on my C & E drives and did a complete reinstall, same result. I have left two posts on PMDG's Support form and so far no help or reply. I would appreciate any help someone can give me, I am not a computer guru so please keep instructions …

I am dismayed about the slow progress in P3D V5 scenery. I see Pacsim has some US airports including KSAN and KSLC. Any idea how they compare to the works of FSDT and Flytampa?

Hey there, I have 2 strange problems. My water is shimmering and it looks like a layer over it is moving in waves. Same with night lights in the distance.Looks like when recording an very old Screen with a video camera. Something like that... I am not sure what setting or add on might be responsible. I did notice this shimmering and flickering some days ago the first time and did not change much before. I think there was an update to something like "Object flow". Water: Night Lights: Has Anyone an idea what might cause it? For now I did reset my cfg & shaders, restored textures with REX Back up. I have ASN & FTX running. Nvidia setting are default.

Hi, because of the recent shutdown of FLAI I installed ultimate traffic live hoping that I could use it for my model matching instead. It has worked but there isn't a custom rule set so the aircraft don't always work and some airlines are muddled up. Does anyone know how I could create or install a custom rule set to get past this issue.

hi guys i'm having a problem I use the latest version of chaseplane for p3d v4.5 hf3 when they are in any paid or default bird the scenery around ( taxiways buildings object ) shakes this only happens with the engines running. I tried to turn off every effect of chaseplane like ground engine breath eng blast but nothing remains that effect that makes the cockpit vibrate and consequently everything outside i have try to change the clipmode before save a backup of cameras cfg (i saw about clipmode over google ) on the camera cfg but with bad results the shake remain thank you for your help

Hi all, I've just installed REX Sky Force 3D. The cloud shown with the red arrow does not look right to me. It seems 2D whilst REX advertises 3D models, etc. What is your opinion? I confess that I am not very knowledgeable regarding clouds.

Hello guys! Did anyone have an idea, i have for my homecockpit 5 monitors. The outsideview realized with viewgroups so all fine. But the outsideview has a zoom from 3.0 and i need a zoom for 1.0. If i change the zoom and save the flight and open it again the zoom is again 3.0 Have anyone an idea? Best regards peter

Hello all i'm running prepardv4 on 2 computers using wideview at the beggiing i had 2 copies of active sky and asca on each machine to get weather but i noticed they did not quite give me the same visuals then i found out if i set weather config in wideview both to update client then client bounce to server the weather is perfect on all my screens you still need 2 copies of AS and Asca if you running it and keep in mind you need the exact same scenery on both computers. I hope this helps any comments are appreciated.
