Hey guys anyone else have envtex with sun mod. set normal it’s looks quite large and deformed. i have set 3 installed. have tried others and it’s the same. I’ve repaired client cleared shaders and tried again. same issue. Using P3d v5.1 hf1 asca asp3d not using truesky as of yet. thanks mike

Hi, As unfortunately the amount of new scenery for P3D is dwindling (hopefully this is temporary), I'm listing here the addon airports which were announced in the last couple of years. Hi, I know there have been long discussion about, however, I never came across an offical statement. Is it legal to buy the academic version of P3D as a privat consumer or now?

Not only have I just had a P3Dv4.5 system crash, but I cannot contact the official P3D support website (error message says: General Error SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] User prepar22 already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203] So I am not sure what is happening. Regarding the sim crash I checked the <Event Viewer> and found it recorded a critical error. The faulting module showed up as: Faulting Module: D3D10Warp.dll ver. 10.0.19041 Does anyone know what is happening here? Are there any known solutions? All help appreciated.

Hey all. Wanted to see what people were using to connect P3Dv4 to their Foreflight apps. Im currently using FlightSimGPS, and it works pretty well all things considered. The only thing I think its missing is showing traffic from in the sim on Foreflight itself. I was going to try FS2FF to see if I could make it work since that one is supposed to show sim traffic also. Since you all may likely use something different, I wanted to get the collective feel of the community on this topic. TIA. Regards, Ben L

Hi everyone! As the title says i have been experiencing huge lag spikes that last anywhere from 6-9 secondsevery 30-40 seconds or so. It kind of makes it unplayable. The weird thing is that i dont teleport forward or anything like that, it just continues from where it left of. I'm using P3D v 4.5, any replies would be appriciated 🙂

Whenever I try to fly from any of the Canary Islands P3D crashes with kernell.dll as a culprit. Became aware when trying to fly out of GCXO with RFS Tenerife North Scenery. After searching on the Internet concerning this error found possible action route. Cleared all the shaders and replaced by default. Deleted the P3D configuration file Removed all Canary Islands scenery except for default. Thereafter simulator loads fine and even enters the scenario, however after a bit of panning it freezes and then P3D crashes. Have even tried to take off from GCTS also with default scenery but still get crashes. Wondering if anyone else has had similar issue…

I use multiple monitors. When I undock panels and move them to a different monitor, frequently the font size changes. Oddly enough, not all the fonts. For example, the font for headers or descriptions might remain the same, while the font for their information changes. (For example, the font for "Air Speed" remains the same, but the actual air speed is much smaller) This seems to be random, and moving the undocked window back to the main display usually does not fix the change. As well, if I use serialized panels, quite often the saved panels will have their fonts randomly change sizes.

I have downloaded Cumulus X and installed it into P3D v4.2. If I start a flight without it connected it is fine, but when I connect Cumulus X to the sim, it quickly reloads the flight, and places me somewhere probably about 10 - 20 miles from where I was before. After that it will quickly (it takes about 1/2 to 1 second to load) go though the flight loading process and repeat every 20 seconds or so, nothing changing when it completes. I know Cumulus X is not officially compatible with P3D, but I have never (that I can remember) had an FSX only addon not work in P3D. I'm wondering if this is because I am trying to use it in P3D or if this is just something wrong on my …

Hi All, After my P3D installation getting corrupted I did a hard reset on W10 this past weekend, registry wiped. Reinstalling everything from the ground up. I'm at a scenery install where I'm getting "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window". I have tried the following: Created a registry path of: "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" in regedit Created two keys RegisteredOrganization and RegisteredOwner both with values of my first and last name Rebooted my computer Attempted to reinstall the addon The result is the same error message as above. Hello when changing views to the outside and back to human eyes the camera goes black and then airplane gets launched across the airport having to use maximum braking or in some cases taking me off the airport airport. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks 🙂

Hi everyone, I have been thinking a lot recently about creating an eFPL using either Adobe's solution of fillable documents, or some other programs to create a template of some kind that could then be applied on a single type of flight plan format to calculate things as: fuel over waypoint based on the entered block fuel, times and such things. However I hit a rock right in the beginning of this great idea. I don't see how on earth I could even create a template that would fit an ever-changing environment where the numbers and waypoints and times and fuel values are all variable and based on that calculate anything. My P3dv5.1 HF1 has started a stange behavior. At startup I have a scenario with a standard aircraft, Mooney Acclaim. When I start taxing the movement forward is ok, but if I turn, then the sim start to stutter every second. I have tested it also with Mooney Bravo and AC 11 Commander and they all behave similar. If I change to A2A C 182 or PMDG737 everything is normal without stuttering. Does anyone have an explanation? Tor Arild

Hi everyone! So i have had this issue for a while where when i look around weird stuff starts happening in the sky. For example the colour of the sky and the colour of the clouds change completely depending on the angle i look at them. And also, sometimes when i am in the cockpit and and look around shadows appear and disappear depending on how i am positioned. This obiously isnt realistic so is there anyway to fix this? This may not be the correct place to ask this, but am not sure where else in the forum to ask. Am trying to download addon liveries for the Aerosoft A230/21 pro for P3d V4. Am logged into Avsim with my account, but can't download any liveries. It says I'm not logged In. Can't go through the Aerosoft website either, because there is no livery manager, and the Aerosoft forum will not recognize my login info. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanx.

when I first boot up the sim at o'hare in the PMDG 737 with ai traffic (100%), the fps are in the low 30s, which is pretty good. after about 10 to 20 minutes, my fps drops to below 20, from the same viewpoint. removing all ai traffic at this point does not seem to have any effect (ai traffic is off in the second picture). if it helps, I have an RTX 3090 with an I9 10900k at 5.1ghz.
