Hi guys. On some of my ORBX airports i'm missing the runway and taxiway textures. Hello, I just bought Orbx Honolulu Cityscape and i see this scenery error where the ocean dips down and there buildings trees etc where water should be. I tried deleting the scenery cfg and terrain cfg but nothing anyone know how to fix this? Thanks Dan

After installing EGKK i get message of corrupt scenery cfg, as installer was unable to activate, i did manual activation and EGKK is running but i keep on getting messages / unable to find scenery area 146, unload or not ? I used Lorby already but no effect... for info: In my scenerry.cfg area count goes only to 145... any help ?

Hello fellow simmers I just made the switch from P3D v4 to v5. So far everything went great and i am amazed by the improvements. I had a lot of Addons installed on v4, especially some Texture, shader and atmospheric enhancements. With PBR on all the planes i use, tomatoshade is no longer needed (so i don't need a replacement). Reshade ist already installed and looking great. I also was a user of REX Sky- and Environment Force. As these products are no longer compatible, this leaves me with two questions that i hope to find some answers or opinions for: - I saw that Envtex ist compatible for v5. Hi all, I am facing a very frustrating issue, where after some time in flight simconnect is losing control. As a result the airfraft starts drifting from path and eventually crashes, as I cannot have any control by joystick inputs but also the autopilot cannot control the plane. It has happened to both FS Labs and PMDG aircraft using either Ezdok or Chaseplane, which they also lose control. I tried to delete weatherlist.dll as seen in P3D forums but no luck, it happens again. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall all versions of simconnect, still same thing happens. I am looking at Captain Sim 767 II i e version 2 for my P3D v5.1. I use Level D sim 767 in FS X Steam. But for P3D v5, I could find none other than Captain Sim 767. Is it comparable to Level D sim 767 as per system realism specially autoflight functions? Is it worth of almost 100 USD? Regards, Haseen Ahmad.

Based on the product's promotional video, the effects sound great. However, before purchasing it, I'd like to know if anyone else has already bought it and if they would recommend it? Does it come with an automatic installer, or you'd need to copy and paste the files manually?

I recently upgraded from a Rift S to the G2 and have been having a few strange issues with VR in P3D v4.5. After about 30 minutes flying I am getting big stutters every few seconds. I spent a lot of time trouble shooting and have narrowed it down to the mouse (yes I know, weird). When I move the mouse around the cockpit to interact with switches the stuttering occurs. The minute I let go of the mouse it stops (even with the white dot curser still showing on the screen). When this occurs the Steam VR graph (which normally has orange/red lines) has black blank areas corresponding to the stutters. Also, in task manager the GPU graph showing GPU usage spikes d…

Hi, I uninstalled ASCA by Hifi and re-installed P3Dv4.5 Content to revert to P3D default clouds It seems that the ASCA clouds textures are not completely gone. How can I make sure to revert to P3D clouds?

Hey folks, I sincerely apologize if I'm hitting a nerve asking this (I'm not sure if it's an over asked question or not with every P3D update), but I just reinstalled all of my P3D stuff and went ahead and went into 5.1 right off the bat (been out of simming since last February or so). I realized quickly thereafter I should have realized this update happened very recently and as such, most third party devs haven't completed updates for the new version of 5.1. I just had the misfortune of attempting an EGLL to KJFK flight in the new 777-200. Fantastic aircraft, but what a huge disappointment the DRZEWIECKI DESIGN KJFK scenery is. Awful textures and the performance is shocking. I also found the aircraft 'falling' through the bridge taxiways...?! Has anyone found a way to make this scenery usable performance wise (and to stop me falling through the scenery)? (Or could recommend a different one??) Thanks, Ben

Good afternoon all So i just got a brand new gamer xlc by cyberpower and i install prepare3d v5.1 and when i go into the sim at KDFW I notice that terminal d is a grass patch with the default scenery. I have my scenery slider set to the max and i still get the same problem. So am i missing something or is it a known problem? if so is there a good scenery addon for V5.1? thanks all in advance for your help 13ifs40

Hi, Overall my V5 performing flawlessly, no CTD no out of VRAM error so far. However, the performance over major airports is not flyable to me, with default aircraft I get around 20FPS and frequently dropping to around 15, cannot have a smooth view. Here are some pictures of my settings in P3D. Hopefully someone can help and explain which one impacts heavily the performance as I have done some searching over google and so far not so much information. Computer system i7 10700F, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080 8GB VRAM. 2k resolution 144Hz System Win10 64bit, P3D V5, UK2000 EGLL and Imaginesim KATL, traffic from AIG. ASP3D, ASCA , Envtex, Envshade Thank you.

Flying in the US recently, mostly in the northern parts that are covered by snow is showing a rather unpleasant effect, which is the darkness of the autogen houses. I tried several combinations of shadow casting but it doesn't change anything really, but actually the worst depiction is when I am (the camera) facing against the sun. With the sun on my back illuminating the houses upfront looks much better. Just for the record, I'm using Orbx addons for both trees and houses/buildings. If only the issue regarding autogen was their exaggerated size... Any ideas on how to make it look better?

Hi I'm trying to save an alternative PM voice set for the FSLabs A320. Please can anyone who has done this advise the folder location where I should place the new voice files to replace the default ones? Their Downloads forum provides the file but no assistance with how/where to install. So far, I have placed them in Prepar3d root folder\Modules\PMCO_Sounds\, overwriting the original sound files shown there. In addition there are two other folders in that location, UK1 & UK2, but I don't know how they are used or if they are needed? But the PM voice has not changed. Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Hello, A problem that appeared with the lastest version of P3D4.5 and now 5.1 (just freshly installed) is that I don't see start up dialogues (such as the activations screen, add-on activation requests etc... and the sim is left hanging). The only way to solve that issue is to unplug all but one screens (I have a 4 screen step up: 3 TVs and one monitor) and start again my P3D Any walk around? It's annoying having to unplug all monitors when I change something to my P3D My system 10 Pro 64bit(10.0 build 18363)CPU i9-9900KRAM 32GigsNvidia RTX 2080ti driver 27.21.14.6172 3 TVs + one monitor

I’m fairly new at flight sims. I first bought msfs 2020 but found I needed more practice than it’s lessons provided. I started to play FS X because of the learning center and the great lessons and missions. Does anyone provide a mission pack (I doubt it’s built in) for P3D v5 that comes close to be as interesting as the ones in FS X? I read P3D is an improved engine based on FS X so I thought I’d ask. Hi guys, Have been googling around but didn't find my answer. When flying in vr rift s I have these extremely spinning clouds around me. I noticed this before I previous sims but now it is really extreme. Clouds spin 180 degrees when I'm looking around in my vr headset. Also so e clouds seem to be stuck to my window and travel with me. Just right in front of my front window with no distance between the cloud and my plane. I have truesky disabled if I'm correct. I removed the trueglass.dll because I had crash to desktop issues. I have rex sky force and active sky installed. Any thoughts about these issues? …

Hello, I have recently noticed black roofs at third party airports. This includes airports from FSDT, Flightbeam, Fly Tampa and Sxairportdesign. Sitting at the gate, if I go to top-down view and start zooming out, the roofs of the terminals and airport buildings go black. Gets worse the higher I go. No issues at low altitude. Also noticed the same while flying over these airports at high altitude. It only occurs for buildings at the airport. Other nearby buildings are good. Ramps, taxiways and runways ok. Hi all, I've had a very sudden and unexpected problem crop up with the default P3D5 ATC. I can get the ATC window to pop up, but if I click on "1 - [Tune XXX]" nothing happens. I can't seem to tune or contact anything through the ATC window. If I click on "2 - [Nearest Airport List]" then it takes me to the list but I can't tune or contact any of them... Can anyone help? Hello, I downloaded SLLP from the library here I was wondering if this can be installed in P3d v5.1. I installed but it is still showing the default airport buildings. The new scenery was placed at the top of the scenery priority list. Any kind soul could tell me if this can be fix so it can run on P3d v5.

Hello all I have a weird problem I have a 2080 nvidia super my and I7 8700k i updated my drivers to the latest version yesterday on both of my computers and I'm getting real bad frame rates my second computer has a 2060 and runs wideview scenery only, before the update I had my second computer locked at 58 fps it was great my main computer was weird as I was undocking panels my fps was increasing but no problems,I had an experience with xplane 11 running opengl with an amd card was getting 25 to 30 fps exactly same thing here,is like the graphics and prepard or direct x is not communicating.properly,for a note I never done a clean install I always done an Express install …
