I bought this scenery from ORBX tonight, and was looking foreward to test it out. I parked at stand 12, pushbacked and started taxing at taxiway (Y?) for takeoff RW 22L. At point ZD entering the light crossing the taxyway my aircraft crashes into an invisible item. This has happend two times tonight. Has anyone else experienced the same? Tor Arild Danielsen

Just for fun, flew the Janet-livery PMDG 737-600 from KLAX to KXTA. Everything went fine until I was taxiing after landing. Turned a corner on the taxiway at normal, slow taxi speed, and my plane suddenly skidded violently sideways and then straightened up and accelerated to 240KIAS. The throttles remained at idle, and the engines never spooled up. It was like a fighter launching off a carrier - no way the plane could do this on its own even at full thrust. So is that a bug, or is it simulated alien technology? 😉 Mods installed: Active sky for p3d, Cloud Art, some ORBX stuff (incl. Vector), and that's about it. It's a pretty fresh re-install of p3d.

Hi all, I seem to be having a problem with fly tampa YSSY where the ground textures disappear. I have uninstalled and downloaded again but its seems to just be sporadic. I remember the problem from before but they released a fix for it. This brings me on to my next problem. I was flying out of orbx YSCH(YCFS) Coffs harbour and I seem to have 2 textures for the runways. I've never had this problem so I'm assuming it's related. The last airport I downloaded was DAVAO from simmarket. Any help is always appreciated.

Hello, Any idea how to force it to work in P3Dv5? Its an FSX model but is it any way to force it to work in P3Dv5? I did properly activation, recived new key and fingerprint (from the webpage) but the model looks like on this screen. some of parts arent visible still like on screen. Its a security reason? Did update of my 2019 ORBX EU, i got far more files in scenery.cfg as before but start of P3D now takes + 6 minutes and my FPS dropped -10. Should a de-activation of some eu-zones with Lorby addon bring any help ?

Hey guys, how would you go about setting up etops in the fmc? is it via the fix page? In the 777 I would enter the fix by the leg 2 page. the 787 does not allow for route 2 leg. so I guess via the fix page? i could not find a tutorial on this. cheers mike

I have heard people say that Jahn's DC-3 works in P3D v5 but it won't for me. I've been using the PBR version and I'm pretty sure it's current but not positive. Could someone who has the DC-3 installed on their 5.1 system post the link to the version they are using?

I fired up P3dv5 at 11:48 am, and planned a flight from KPHL (Philly) to KLAS (Vegas). Thousands of miles. I got the Airbus 320 up to 32,000 feet, autopilot turned on, and my wife and I left the house to run some errands. We got back after 4:00 pm, and my flight was about 245 miles from Sin City. The plane was flying beautifully smooth, no pauses, no stutters, and clear topography everywhere. What I realized is that the stutters and pauses would have occurred to the point of frustration if I had been at the computer monitoring the flight. I would have done the following if I were home: I would have changed views very frequently to Spot view, wing view, and all…

Hi all, Curious about how the sim would handle a raging snow storm, I parked at KIBM this morning. Unfortunately, while the sky eventually clouded up into a full haze with limited visibility, I have not seen a single snow flake. However, when I switch back to basic view, without EA, the storm is raging. I really do like EA most of the time, but it has its failings...do any of you have any similar experiences, or suggestions on correcting this? Sherm

Hi mates, I've purchased recently FlyTampa KTPA Rebooted, installed it and applied the update for P3Dv4. Compared to other bigger FlyTampa sceneries I own, in this case the fps hit is quite noticeable, with comparable settings. Especially when the main terminal is in sight (see screen below). I wonder if it is just me or if this 'old' scenery have not been optimised to the fullest for P3Dv4. If someone have encountered this issue and has some tips, I would appreciate. PS: I have disabled the 3D people animation that has a high impact on framerate, while the other settings have low or moderate impact. Please don't tell me to go to the FlyTampa…

Hi all, I'm on P3D V4.4 with ORBX, EnvTex and PTA and my water tiles now look like this... Notice the dark squares in the middle of Tropical Ocean tiles. It's also like this near every shore. How do I fix this?

I have been away from flightsim since about 2015 because I was bouncing off the fsx memory limitations and my PC was beginning to show its age enough to put me off P3D until I had a new one. This did not happen but gradually, I have been rebuilding this last year and it will soon be done (providing we ever see graphics cards again). Anyway, as much as I'm looking forward to MSFS my passion is in the big stuff from PMDG and the like so my main sim is still going to be P3D. At least until all my favourites have made the move and assuming MSFS flies as good as it looks. Hello all. I've been having a hard time trying to find out why i have to Runways markings on some of my payware Airports. Searched forums and found people with the same problem, tried their apparent fixes but still no joy. I've recently got one fixed with help from orbx after being sent a new ground poly file. However i have the same issue at some of my FSDT airports where no markings are present including center lines, hold short lines ect. Been on the FSDT forums and he confirmed that he cant reproduce the issue, i'm using fresh installs and latest updates, also seeing this at orbx YBRM. Hi everyone. I've got some trouble with the new Nvidia driver 461.92. My display setup is 5x 27" monitors with 3 monitors in surround mode. Now when I install this new driver all my display settings are gone. I've tried to adjust the settings but I can not change my main screen (3x in surround mode) it will stay in 5760 x 480 mode. I reversed to the previous driver so all is good now. Anyone experienced the same? Greetings

I have Tomato Shade installed and I have also removed all shaders (with and without tomato), I have even removed the shader folders and cfg then did a repair of the client. Nothing seems to work??? I have tried numerous drivers for my nvidia card to no avail. Please assist if you can... Hey Guys. I've had some issues last few months related to Norton Internet Security. First a few months ago I had to reinstall the FSL A320. Despite having excluded the proper directories in norton. Then this week out of know where, it decided to kill AIG. I've had that excluded also. It's almost like Norton has got to the point where it ignores the parameters I attempt to set aroudn it. While at the same time I've read numerous reports online where people say you don't even need to run a 3rd party anti-virus program anymore. What do you guys do?

Good evening! Lately I have been keeping my eyes on the iFly B747, however I have a question: How is the external texturing and modelling of the different models and variants? I have read a few reviews on Avsim and Flightsim.com giving positive feedback on the systems depth and the internal texturing and modelling. But how is the external texturing and modelling? Based on pictures and videos the texturing seems a bit so-so, but I can't really comment on the modelling work. Would really appreciate if you could share your opinons and thoughts on this aspect!🍻 Some screenies would also be appreciated! Regards, Viggo

Hi, hope someone can help me with a strange issue I'm facing since some days using P3D v5 and PMDG 737ngxu. When I reach more or less the 20000 feet the external view in the VC become gray and darker (like a sort of additional half-transparent haze layer) while all the other views are absolutely fine. More I increase the altitude and more the gray coloring increases. This happens using or not using EA, using or not using ActiveSky, with and without HDR: in few words in all possible conditions impacting the 'atmosphere'.
