Sorry, this is not a constructive thread. I want to have a moan. I did a flight this evening. EGLC-EHAM. It's a route I've been practicing and trying to get perfect in the FeelThere E170. It's taken me months to get the aircraft working in my multi-channel home cockpit setup, and the sim has fought me every step of the way. Random crashes, with no event log entries, no clue as to what's happening or why; I've ended up with a workaround list the length of your arm. It takes me 30 minutes to get everything set up to fly this sector. If I make one mistake, I can't go back, because if I reset the situation (or change the in-sim time) the aircraft stops working in random…

I have P3Dv5 and just bought Envshade. I dont use ASCA or REX. Now, whatever how I set the sliders in envshade, I do not notice any difference at all. I change the sliders, save the settings and reload shaders is P3D - nothing changes

Hi, Ive seen threads similar to this so many times with regards to P3D v4.5, with no reponses that seem to solve it. When on the ground at certain airports, and randomly by the looks of things, P3D goes from running smoothly (40fps) to suddenly running at 10fps or so for no reason. The only way to get it back to the normal FPS is to Alt Tab and maximinise minimise the window in random order until it regains the FPS. Now the only programme that links this bug seems to be GSX but to no avail this has never been answered or solved by them. Has anyone had the same issue / had the same issue that has resolved it? It seems like changing views seems to trigger it more,…

I am fairly new to P3D - bought it in January with a ton of Orbx scenery and aircraft - about $2000 worth. It's been enjoyable. I really miss A2A in MSFS. QualityWings, PMDG, FSLabs... All those are stellar. But, truth be told, MSFS is just a lot easier on the eyes and with the CRJ out as well as a PMDG announcement that 2021 may see the 737 in MSFS, I am THIS close to uninstalling it mostly due to silence from LM. I find it harmful for consumer's faith in the product - let's face it, a lot of developers are hopping off P3D and will continue to drift towards MSFS, which is lovely. And LM really needs to do something drastic if they are interested in keeping this platform …

Contact: Saving Panel location across 3 monitors I have a four monitor setup and I use 3 monitors for my main display when I start a scenario inP3d. By opening the default program and stretching it across the 3 monitors then l switch to full screen and save and exit. Restart P3D open the default program and switch to windowed mode save and exit. This method is the only way I know how to save the main screen panel location. The problem is every time there is a new P3D config file, or display setting change, shaders deleted, new display driver, these settings are lost and a non stretched window appears. I am not sure if you guys have noticed but taxiing with the T7 is not really realistic; something wrong with the ground friction model ( with an empty 77W you should be able to taxi without moving the thrust levers which is not the case). I have been trying to understand this issue but apprently they can't edit that friction model without getting some serious sideeffects and destroying other parts of the model (I honestly wonder what that is..). I would just like to use the dynamic friction lua of FSUIPC instead but so far it has not been convincing. Has anynone been able to use that with good results? Perhaps editing the lua file?

Instead of waiting for big update who is often following with a hotfix, why beta tester wouldn't request to LM implement micro update instead like ms do?

I get that is second day of Spring only and in settings (P3D) showing Spring but CYYZ and whole northern Canada is covered by snow...like is XMAS. Europe and rest of the World showing no snow? So how do I get rid of that? 😙 Can't remember I ever had that before......

Hi guys, I've been looking for some decent scenery for DNMM for v5 but can't find anything. Does anyone know of a decent AFCAD file that at least clears up the taxiways, adds more gates etc? I downloaded DNMM_ADEX_MR.bgl and DNMM_ADEX_MR_CVX.bgl from avsim but the readme asks me to put them in Addon Scenery/scenery folder of FSX. Where would the right place in P3D be? Thanks

Hi Is there any Scenery for Lansing Airport KLAN? Searched for a long time but couldn't find any. There was recently also a Dyn.Light Profile at inibuild for this airport but no one could tell me what scenery this is. Kind Regards Patrick

Hi, I was flying on VATSIM today with the PMDG 737-800 from EGLL to EDDL. To make things a little bit more fun I simulated a severe engine damage that forced me to divert to EHAM. Everything went as expected during descent until suddenly my autopilot disengaged for no reason on the right downwind to runway 27 at EHAM. A/T was off all the time and I was carefully controlling the speed manually with my left over engine. I was in heading mode and I used LVL Change to descent from 5000 to 2000feet when the autopilot disconnected from alone. With Active Sky, I started playing around with Enhanced Atmospherics and I'm not sure I know how to use it, or set it up, or configure it. I like the effect it has in this rainy weather we are having on the east coast today. I am using it with REX SkyForce clouds and REX Skies (in SF) as well. I get flickering on the tops of trees and mountain ranges when I tick EA on. I DO NOT get that with it off. Should I even be using it with the new Active Sky? Should I be using EA with SkyForce? I'd like a few little tutorial sentences or direction on how I should exactly use or configure EA in P3dv5. Look forward to hearing your opinions and your tips. …

Hello All, I have posted Bahamas Scenery Pack 3-1 to the AVSIM library which in addition to the N and W Bahamas has the first part of the E Bahamas scenery - Eleuthera and Cat Island! There are a number of other improvements to the rest of the scenery described in the readme. I have another exciting announcement to make. The guys (Brad Allan, Norm Richards, and Steve Weinkamer) over at Return to Misty Moorings have been busy adding their magical touch to the airports and everywhere else: extra vegetation, grass, trees, etc, lots of custom buildings, ships, seaplane docks, etc. Their enhancements really push the immersion up to an 11. I flew PMDG 747 for fs9, FSX and never had climbing issues. Now, I have climb issues with PMDG 747-400 v3 installed in P3Dv4.5 I know I am doing something wrong but can't find the fix.
