I did not manage to get it to run fine in P3D5. Most switches do not react, the sim feels slow and stuttery. This model is specified for v4 only but maybe someone has a solution. Thanks Dan

As the title says i have no clouds in P3D using EA with AS. When i load in without launching AS i can see clouds but when i open AS all of them dissappear, even when theres really cloudy conditions.

Just tried to access GSX with ctrl-F12 and the ASP3D box appeared with 'Simconnect' as its title. Anyone had this before?

Ive recently had to move my AI setup to my other harddrive (D) in order for Lights Reborn Pro to collect all the AI material i have as it doesnt work. PFX scans the simobjects folder which is where my PMDG stuff is located and where AI was/use to be but can i now direct PFX to the D drive as well? I tried contacting P42 Support who replied with a very unhelpful...Its not supported anymore So im wondering if anyone with a slightly more technical mind can help maybe?

my fellow p3d users. I've tried and tried over the last couple of weeks to ask the people behind p3d the follow2ing questions on deaf ears. So, I'm now trying to ask some of my fellow p3d pilots. When I go to install p3d on a win 10 machine, I keep receiving source file can't be found. Now, I've uninstalled and reinstalled and repaired until I'm blue in the face. Can anyone help me to install P3D v 5.1? Also, when I go to plug in my User Identification number and assigned password, I get invalid info. G'day everyone, I was hoping to get some opinions on different 3rd party ATC options that folks prefer to use. I'm currently using Pilot2ATC which has a lot going for it but lacks flexibility in areas such as routing around weather and general VFR choices. I've started to look at VoxATC but havn't got it running properly yet. From the documentation it seems like it's more detailed and thorough than P2ATC but I was wondering what you guys thought. Just wondering if anyone's getting white dots and and artifact shimmering lines with those cards. I'm quite positive its not a hardware failure issue as this only effects airport textures (not all airports , mind you) and and when viewed at certain angles. Using a 6900xt with 21.2.3 drivers

Since MSFS came out I've been flying that, but lately I have wanted to fly many aircraft I have in P3D v4.5 that are not yet available in MSFS. I have noticed coming back to P3D v4.5 that my set up has noticeably less 'dynamism' in the sky & ground lighting, than MSFS. The P3d sky & ground look fairly bland Without having to go to P3D v5.1, what products could, [I will probably regret saying this], make my P3D v4.5 look more like MSFS? Inject some dynamism into it? I just noticed on my Simmarket account that a new version of the Wilco Falcon 7x is out (Version 3.2), apparently it was updated June 8th, 2018. I used the FSX version before and it was a disaster as I couldn't make it to fly reliable.. I uninstalled it at the end and I was forced to totally forgot about it after their support was so bad that I almost filled a complain via PayPal, but when Simmarket threatened with putting my account on hold I just went into despair and moved on. They claim it works now with P3D x64 so clearly they have changed the code, so I am wondering / hopping this bird actually flies now? Has anyone tried it out? Regards, Simbol

Into what directory does one put a .gfp file to be imported into the GTN750?This is for P3D ver 4.4

I have v1 of this airport package installed in P3Dv4.5HF2, and it is superb. However, I have been considering upgrading to v2. Can anyone tell me how much of an improvement this is over v1? I assume that v2 has dynamic lighting, but I am curious to know whether more of the city of Copenhagen is modelled. I think that there is a section of Amager Island (the north east tip) which is not included in the v1 package, so I would like to know if this has been added. I am guessing that all of the textures have been upgraded to PBR status, but I would welcome feedback regarding how much better the airport looks compared to v1 (considering that my existing scenery looks very good …

Hi... Just booted up LatinVFR KMIA with the QW787 and was shocked to see it using 9GB of VRAM just sitting at the gate! Is this normal? Is there anyway I can reduce this? Why is this airport particularly so bad? I'm almost scared to do anything in case I get a CTD. Thanks

I've one of these old boxed version of some Uk2000 and Flytampa (LOWW&VHHX) airports. How does it work with upgrades to p3d v5?

I get this error randomly in latest P3Dv5. It pops up this message when enabling Virtual Reality. When you click ok the sim works normally until during the flight I will get a CTD in terrain.dll. It is reported on the LM forums but can't see any reply from the devs. Can anyone explain what it is, does anyone else get this and can hint at a solution? Thanks

I click on this P3d Forum every day (several times a day) and look forward to seeing a message..."It's OUT, 5.2 available for downloading"! I sense that something is near, but I'm not totally convinced. My sim is running quite well in that I'm completing more and more flights without some kind of intervention. Usually if things get stuttery or something, I just click on the TIME menu and change the time by one hour. That brings the sim back to normalcy for the duration of the flight. I don't always have to do that, but I guess the memory (and DX12) gets overworked. Whatever, I still fly P3d so much more than any other sim and really enjoy it. I do believe, though, …

Has anybody else seen this? Doesn't matter what airport or what aircraft selected. When using ASP3D, the wind speed at ground level starts increasing and doesn't stop. If I deactivate ASP3D, the wind speed drops to 0. If I re-activate ASP3D, the wind speed picks up where it left off and continues to increase. By the time I taxi to the active runway the wind speed is over 100 kts. Wind speed at altitude is normal. My sim just started doing this (initially intermittantly but now constant) early this year. I am working with Hifi Simulations on this but they say I'm the only ASP3D user who has reported this anomaly. Am not sure that ASP3D is really at fault but it (do…

I've had this problem as long as I could remember but In my latest desperation to fix it, I reinstalled prepar3d v5 with no addons except for a few individual airports and ai-traffic. Still I see the runway markings are not correct at default airports. Along with the uninstall (and subsequent reinstall) I did the follow to the folders below. When loading the Golden Age Simulations "Brunner Winkle Bird", I get a CTD of P3D5.1 with HF1. The preview of the plane works. I also tried to reinstall the plane, Virus detection off. No change. Golden Age Simulations tried it too in P3D5.1 and it works on their system. I had a look into eventviewer, where DDE.dll is mentioned as the cause. The dll is from Aerosoft, Dynamic Display Engine. This never crashed before. I have lots of other planes from GAS, which work all fine. Disabling this .dll makes Geneva Professional unusable, severe stutters occur. So that´s not an option.
