Hi.I want to buy Maddog X MD-82 base pack + Expansion pack for P3dV5.One of the minimum requirements for this is 8 GB GPU.This minimum is a "must", or the software also works with 6 GB GPU but with poor quality?thank you in advance for your reply.

Seems interesting to me. I'd like to have missions, though, I'd rather fly humanitarian flights or small passenger flights and such than for profit...almost all GA. I'd like to have to do some weight and balance and have air hauler load up the airplane for me. Can't say I'm really interested in building my own airline so much as be an independent contractor. Does Air Hauler 2 fit that model in any way?

Good day, Starting Sim Director it's very slow especially when changing airports or time of the day loading terrain data takes forever I'm noticing sometimes even 8 minutes. My PC specs I9 9900K @ 5 GHZ,Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 32GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz RGB. Any help is appreciated.

Hi all, I'm curious what you think about it. Is there any chance that P3D will change its installation model in the future? This is one of my biggest wishes for the platform. I mean, all folders located under a single directory just like X-Plane or DCS. MSFS has also a more organized structure for addons though I think its not totally independent from the Windows C drive. Recently coming from a full Windows reinstall I realized how big of a hassle is to reinstall everything I have for P3D. The change P3D brought from FSX to install add-ons in other than the sim locations, is useful for P3D reinstalls but still to my eyes, P3D installation path is very messy. If …

What I'm looking for is the ability to call up an airport on a map, and see a graphical representation of all procedures in X category. For instance, "show me all of the STARs for KLAX, at the same time, on the same map, drawn as lines." If those procedures are overlaid on a regular surface map that shows cities/landmarks, so much the better. It looked like Garmin's fltpln could do it, but I haven't found where. Anyone know of one that does?

One feature often mentioned for P3D V5 as being a great thing is true sky ? I am not sure I understand what it is ? In what way do we not have this true sky in FSXSE or earlier P3D versions ? Is it only about visuals ? I have heard that this feature is in beta. Is that a problem or does it work as intended ?

I'm using Carenado XL560 and I'm suffering weird stuttering.Frame rate is good but the simulation stops for a short time and move again. I'll post a video link. Also I found it happens when the avionics are on. Video starts after 36 seconds

Today I tried three times to use P3dv5 and once the main screen loads, it then crashes shortly after. This was the first time I ran the sim since installing the new Nvidia driver. Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers, Pete

I know there's no scenery for KCHS in v5 but does anyone know of a decent AFCAD file that corrects, adds, removes all the relevant taxiways etc? Also, a guide on how to install it would be great. Thanks

Evening... I thought I'd post this here as the QW support forum is useless. When the beacon flashes it causes a strange shadow on the back of the aircraft. See attached picture... https://imgur.com/0vaK1Uq The shadow on the rear of the aircraft only appears when the beacon flashes. Can anyone help? Thanks

After doing some research I decided to try reducing my monitors refresh rate from 60hz to 30hz and limiting FPS in the Nvidia control panel (program settings) to 30fps. I thought this may eliminate some stuttering. However, I now seem to get screen 'tearing' where the image looks as if it has a line through the middle when I'm panning around the cockpit or the aircraft etc. Can anyone help? Thanks

Hi, I have a computer using a Gtx1650ti and Ryzen 5 4600H. I just installed Prepar3D as well. However, the simulator is not smooth enough. There are freezes in menu transitions and camera transitions. Is it possible to get a smooth experience with this CPU and GPU? Can you help me? Thanks

Hello everyone Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I thought this would be the best place. So I'm playing P3DV5.1 with my PS4 controller, and since I don't have a physical throttle quadrant, I use the buttons "triangle" and "cross" to accelerate and decelerate. This isn't the most convenient option, but it works, I guess. I have a registered copy of FSUIPC, so I'm wondering if I can do the following: On the right joystick of my PS4 controller, I'd like to accelerate when I push the joystick up, and decelerate when I pull the joystick down.
