Greetings. Everything had been fine for as long as I can remember. But I'm noticing now when starting p3d the fslabs prompt comes up telling me it will need to be run as administrator. Check the box and reboots fine. When I right click the p3d icon and go to compatibility the run as admin box is checked but greyed out. Anybody know what's going on? This feels like windows update may have changed something on me. Edit: Only other change made was updating to latest Active sky beta that just came out. Doubt related, but adding in case

Greetings, I just got a new computer and for the time being, plan on supporting three flight sims. XPlane, P3d and MSFS 2020. I have had XPlane and P3d for several years with a number of add on aircraft and airports I do not want to loose. I have 3 SSD hard drives one for each flight sim. The computer came with the three sims preinstalled. I intended on installing my add on programs myself. My problem is this, up to now I am use to all the sims sitting on one drive (the main c drive). Life was easy because anytime I installed something, I used the default install with the various programs and seldom had a problem. Now I am not sure how how to add the various prog…

Just bought this, and wondering how others have found the performance aspect? I was enjoying 4k 50fps in virtually every other aircraft in my hangar in 5.1, but the 350i tops out at 30fps, maxing core0 of my 10850K... 😕 Shame, as I was hoping it would be fairly performance friendly. (Yes I know I can reduce some settings, it is the relative performance of the a/c compared with others when running the same sim settings that I am interested in.)

Hi all, There might be an ongoing discussion already going on this but I couldn't find anything...but has anyone had any luck improving the visibility settings with Enhanced Atmospherics? The below is with the new Skyforce beta but generally even the default vis is way off...this is supposed to be 55km of visibility 🙄 This is from a nearby beach... Cheers

I'm looking for a map app which automatically scans my P3D installation (scenery.cfg + add-on.xml) and displays exclusively my 3rd party airports and nothing else. I have Little Nav Map and I can force it to display add-on airports, but it still shows other airports too. I cannot find a setting in LNM which does only show my add-on airports. Maybe there's another app which is better for this purpose. Any suggestions?

Hello all, Recently I´ve upgraded my PC (having now a Ryzen 5 3600X + RTX 2070 SUPER) upgrading also from Prepar3D v4 to Prepar3D v5. The visual change is awesome but me and a friend we are having an issue with the brand new TrueSky (we are using Active Sky for P3D, but is not related with this, becouse we´ve tried using another weather engines and we have the same problem). Okay, but, what is the problem? When we climb to cruise altitudes (FL360-380), you can see a cloud pattern that are not uniform (as if the same cloud repeats itself over and over again). Hello, I am using Justsim's EDDL v2.1 on P3dv5.1 2 problems: during daytime I am seeing a red cross between the runways. I believe this is a missing windsock SODE object during night time I don’t see Apron night lighting and building lighting. The airport is completely dark except of the RWY. I recently updated to SODE 1.71 and tested it again today successfully via the P3d menu. Dyn. Lighting is activated. Night lighting at other airports are also working. Someone with an idea, what the issue could be? Thanks, Michael

Hi everyone, I would like to change my SODE VDGS, with the aircraft's stop position and I have contacted SODE about this but have never received an answer so hope there is someone here can help me? To edit in this I need to use SODE SDK, fine. But my question is then should I also use P3D v4 SDK? What is the best Scenery Organizer for Prepar3d v4?

Merry Xmas everyone, Last week i tested an new Nvidia RTX 3080, but i decide to stay with my rtx 2080ti (11GB), because the 3080 only had 10 GB and i got dxgi errors on heavy sceneries. Because i noticed the last days heavy studders, i created this morning a new prepare3d.cfg. Now i have two entrys, the 2080 and the 3080 Graphiccards. And the additional entry Jobscheduler 364. I deleted the entrys multiple times, i deleted the hole cfg two times and let the CCleaner clean the registry. But the next time Prepare 3d created new entries from the 2080, 3080 and the Jobscheduler. My System is an Intel i7 8086K, RTX 2080ti, 32 GB, HT off. Thanks f…

Hi I am on a roundtrip in South America... I brought the missing Airports SUMU Montevideo (LatinVFR) and SGAS Asuncion (Taxi2Gate). I know they are only for FSX but often the old FSX Airports are working with minor issues in P3DV4 and they are much better then the default airports. SGAS Asuncion (Taxi2Gate) works fine, but SUMU Montevideo (LatinVFR) has serious problems with the runways and Taxiways. I use P3D4.5 ORBX LC SA, Base, Vector, Simstarter NG, Pilots Mesh 2020. I assume they are multiple factors working together or may be against each other. I see in SimstarterNG the .bgl files of an Airport and often it helps to deactivate the…

Hi all, first off a merry Xmas and happy new year to all. I have a question regarding installing p3d v5. I currently have p3d v4.5 running on my C drive however I am about to install a new m.2 ssd in the coming days. My current C drive is nearly full so my question is, can I install p3d v5 on my new m.2 and still keep v.4.5 on my C drive? Does anything from v.5 install onto the C drive? I got my first FranceVFR last week after hesitating for months and I quite like it, at least combined with their own airports. Before I take the plunge and get more, can you guys give me any advice on what compatibility is like with other airports? JustSim Nice and DigitalDesign Lyon in particular.

Hello guys, since yesterday I got following iusse (I did not change anything!) - look and the watermark: Also AI Labels have the same issue. Does anyone have an idea? Recently I have clouds "racing" ahead with AC at FL360 with ASP4 and TS ON? Haven't see that before. Not sure if anyone reported that but looks very strange. Not sure if it needs some additional adjustments and settings but it is odd.

Can anyone help? When I load my Malaga scenery with P3Dv5, I aircraft is buried in the taxiway below ground level with the fuselage semi-exposed above ground. Many thanks
