PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello. I took the dive yesterday and added the NGX to my library. I am looking for the new colors scheme of Southwest airlines. I can not find it in the Ops Center or the Avsim library. Please help me out. Randy

I purchased Prepar3D a few months ago but, I am having issues with FSX on Windows 10. I was forced to go back to using FS9. Can I install it in my new Prepar3D? Is there a charge for switching sims to run the 737NGX? Or do I need to repurchase the whole product.?

Should I be able to enter a manual ZFW, as calculated by an external tool such as PFPX? Any value I enter in the Payload screen at the LSK for ZFW is returned with a message 'invalid entry'. I've seen other users tutorial videos where this has worked, so possibly a setting is not correct in the FMC to allow this?

Any clues why this happens .When the 737 is loading and initializing in the 2-D cockpit view I get some gauge distortions and then when I go outside using the S key to scroll through the views the fuselage looks like a skeleton and I can see the seats and landing gears. All of this does eventually clear itself up except for the outside views with the S key. I have a EVGA 970 GTX GPU. I have applied the HIGHMEM Fix and reinstalled the sim it still does it. Hi guys wondered if anybody is experiencing changes to colour scheme on FSX start-up? I get a prompt saying that The colour sceme has been changed to Windows 7 basic because certain parts are not compatable and the colour and textures look terrible wonder if there is a workaround for this or if its a graphic card issue? So, i programmed two keys on my keyboard to "extend and retract visor and nose fully for Concord", precisely ; and ' I checked that my Rayanair 737WL has the stairs options set to YES Battery ON, Ground power switch activated, ground connections enabled and Regardless of door open or closed i still can't retract or extend stairs. What am I doing wrong? thank you

Wanting to set PFPX up accurately for the NGX B738 with WL. The CFG file does not seem to contain all the required fields. A web search brings up different options with varying values. Can anyone confirm what settings they use in PFPX for accurate/realistic flight planning? I'm referring to MTOW, MZFW, Max fuel, Cargo capacity etc. I am working in kg's but can convert easily enough if the numbers are in lb Thanks,

Hi all, I am using my Goflight TQ6 throttle system with the NGX, and it works perfect on all axis, programmed with FSUIPC. My problem is that I can't find a way to program the reverse thrust. In the TQ 6 these are operated through buttons on separate small levers. When you pull these small levers all the way back with the throttle lever in idle position, the button on the small lever is pushed and reverse thrust is applied. So far, so good. The problem is that when I advance the throttle lever to full, this button on the small lever is also pushed, thereby reducing the throttle to idle, which is never a good thing during a climb... Captains, I'm looking to find some dates, times, and locations to plug into ASN's Historical Weather to make for a good weather challenge in the NGX. Mainly I'm interested in approaches, but nasty weather on takeoff or enroute would be fun too. Of course, I don't want to try something where in the real world the pilot would divert to the alternate so don't send me into a tropical cyclone that would close down the airport! Day or night, anywhere in the world, any season. Reach back into your logbooks or just some dates scribbled on your calendar when the situation got ugly near your local airport. Sorry this post isn't really NGX related, so I guess feel free to delete, but the folks here are some of the most knowledgeable around (Kyle among others) so I have a question related to routes- I am flying home in a week, KMSP to KPIT through KMDW. The second leg of the trip is KMDW to KPIT. Obviously I've been flying that route several times cause I want to be able to follow the flight while we're in the air. I bought Prepar3d v.3.2 and PMDG 737NGX for P3D. I installed them. But I could not activate PMDG 737NGX license. I did what you do well, and I re-established in the redist simconnect.msi . Not in active again. Please help. Thanks Ahmet Yurdaor

I recently removed FSX box version and clean installed FSX SE. The base NGX pack is installed and works correctly. I am facing a serious problem installing the expansion (600/700). I cannot get past the second step of the install where the installer asks to select the FSX version. there is no possibility to select the FSX version and in the i end up getting a unable to find fsx.exe for the retail edition. I do not need to install NGX for the reail version. I run windows 10.

I have noticed that the NGX has a dislike for certain routes, but I don't know why. For example, TRALR SIX out of KLAS. The NG swings back and forth between waypoints and only settles once it's cleared those short-spaced waypoints. Is this just the way it is?

The 737NGX is on my list to fly, much much later . But I noticed a comment that only ASN successfully feeds weather data to the 737. Is this correct? I've looked at the pmdg.com site and it is not there or not anywhere obvious.

Both 737 and 777 are pulling to the left during taxi, and severe left on take off, this just started happening now, all of a sudden. So while taxiing, I started to look at my pedals inside VC and what happens is that the left pedal is slowly but progressively pushing itself - in! (the right pedal does the opposite of course). I corrected this by pushing the right pedal on my CH pedal set, it does return the pedals to neutral position, but then the left pedal inside VC starts to push itself - in again. The old problem of throttles not retarding on landing is gone and it seems to retard so far, but now I have the new problem of pedals living their own life. Note, this …

When I log onto FSX pick the boeing aircraft and the airport and the gate and click to flynow, the aircraft starts with auto throttle on and engines going full blast with throttle levers at idle, and autopilot is on and cannot set up a flight on FMC. Do I need to reload the pmdg program or can I change so aircraft starts at gate running at idle or cold and dark? Thanks for any replies Lewis Block

Hello: I am trying to understand this error and how to fix the problem. The NGX has been working perfectly until yesterday. I loaded a saved flight from KIAH - KMSY and received the error message "Arrival runway in .rte file not in database". Other flights work just fine as this only occurs on random flights. My screens also are blank but the engines are running. I do not use .rte files and have not installed any new Navigraph products. All of my flight plans are .pln files so this does not make sense to me. Thanks Don

I have, as the title suggests, undocked the 2D panel and dragged onto a second monitor. I then have the VC cockpit on main screen zoomed in so that I get the DHM effects provided by Opus FSX. Now the problem being is that with the VC enabled on main screen that 2D panel s unresponsive. It's frozen in time. Is there a way to fix this?

I am looking for general information and cost for good Throttles-servo-motorized for 737NGX ? Anyone currently using them? Do they include parking brake and trim wheel? Do they use FSUIPC ? Are they USB ?

I just did a quick perusal of the SDK...is there any way to read the cabin diff press and altitude, and the six lines of text on the FMS CDUs?What I want to do is code a touchscreen overhead panel to run networked on a second PC (need the cabin press readings for that) and also a separate touchscreen app for one or both FMS CDUs, which would need the text lines as displayed on the CDUs. I can't find either of those data elements in the .h file.

On approach to all ILS runways I can't push the VOR/LOC button after obviously being lined up properly and the solid pink lines and diamonds appear. CMD is engaged, flight director is on, course is set properly, ILS frequency set into both NAV radios. My PFD is showing some indications I haven't seen before... FAC and G/P. Hello, I know there's a post about this issue appearing after some update. Now that I'm using Oculust Rift and Leap Motion, the problem with the Speed Brake being in the wrong position when stowed, has become an issue. When you use Leapmotion and Oculus Rift, you use your hands and fingers to "touch" every switch and knob in the cockpit. Now that the speed brake lever is so low, it covers some CDU keys and it's impossible to press them without touching the speed brake lever. Is a fix for something like this impossible in this point in time?
