PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Has anyone added this to your PMDG 737 NGX the file is FDSFX.zip . This add-on give you cabin announcements to any panel. I have added it to many of my planes and the last one is the NGX and I am running into and issue. Just checking to see if anyone has added it and if you can post your settings you added to the panel.cfg. Thanks in advance John

Hello, I have both fsx and p3d version of NGX and in P3D the radar sweep is much faster than the radar sweep in FSX. Is there a setting that I might overlook to adjust the sweep speed? Since both is the same product, I thought the speed should be the same but I could be wrong. Thanks! Brian

I find that the soley 3d cockpit is brilliant,but it is very hard selecting a radio comm. You have to admit the comm1 2,nav1 2,are a bit fidderly to use.It makes online ATC very challenging. I ended up missing a approach, and getting very distracted by the having to select the radio. Even the close up radio view, is difficult to use. Has anyone used the Saitek pro radio stack, low and behold it has all the radio comms and nav frequences? And even Adf. Does this work well with the PMDG NGX? How does it plug into the pc? if people think it is ok i might get it tonight? Thanks jools

Hi PMDG friends I am actually taking into operation my B737 overhead from Opencockpits. There are different LEDs with full and dimmed brightness. Unfortunately there is only one, that is fully supported by PMDG NGX: unsigned char FUEL_annunXFEED_VALVE_OPEN; // 0: Closed 1: Open 2: In transit (dim) Moreover I get 1 for "in transit" and 2 for "Open". This could be an error of the driver (OCP4NGX), but please check. The OC hardware supports directly 1 for open, 2 for dimmed. All other bivalent LEDs get only boolean from PMDG. I can make the brightness step with an SIOC script, but it would be nice getting correct values from PMDG in the future. Another surprise …

Well I bought the PMDG 737 a few months ago but haven't really used it too much as I was focusing on GA aircraft, randomly I went into the PMDG setup section of the FMS and found that I had v1.1. Is there an update for the 737 as the only thing I could find was Service Pack 1d. PS : I bought it from PMDG's own website

When I distribute the cargo loads in TOPCAT, nothing happens with the CG value. F.x. I put 7000kg in FWD and 0kg in AFT. And I try vise versa. The CG is still 24%. I noticed that it works as it should if I change aircraft configuration (Boeing 737-800 PMDG Mixed Class.txt) in TOPCAT from PMDG Mixed Class to f.x. Ariane. Yesterday I bought the NGX. Everything normal during installation, except when I try to select the product on fsx: it asks for the code, I paste the code and it says it is wrong. I dont to think that PMDG gave me the wrong key, it's too bad... Thank you in advance

I am somewhat "obsessed" with not using keyboard commands but rather moving the levers etc in F9 Ex: To deploy flaps,move the flap lever ( in F9 ) with the mouse Ex: To arm speed brake,move the lever in F9 Now here is my question: How can I deploy the two reverse thrusts with on mouse click.( the two levers to advance at the same time ) I have to click on one lever ( example the one on port ) and then the one on starboard. I am keen to do some check ride things like V1 or V2 cut . However I always end up crashing. Guess thats why its a checkride item huh? lol Anyway some hints and tips would be much appreciated, I dare not even suggest that its not simulated in the PMDG 737NGX!!

So I purchased the NGX 737 600/700 expansion this evening and when I tried to activate it I got the error messages. The first one was say that it could not connect to the activation server then the second one said that I didn't have a valid license installed for the NGX. This is the first problem I have had activating anything for PMDG I have the base NGX and the 777 with the expansion.

Hi all, I am thinking about doing a world tour in the PMDG NGX starting this Monday! I was wondering if anyone know's of a world tour repaint (type thing...), or a generic repaint for flying. I'm a 'realist' and cannot stand anything being unrealistic. Therefore, I'd prefer not to land in Bolivia in a Thomson 737-800, on my 'world tour'. Any other general tips for a world tour?! Just anything in general. Furthemore, I am looking to fly into challenging airports such as Madeira, Paro etc. all of which I have succesfully conducted landings for before. Hi guys, Has anyone tried dealing with a rudder handover with the NGX? Have been watching this video (Warren van der Burgh/AA) https://youtu.be/WfNBmZy1Yuc?t=9m19s To simulate the handover, I will trim rudder all the way in one direction (rudder pedals will not give full rudder in flight as far as I can tell - have to read up on this). Some strange things happen in P3D - you seem to end up flying sideways, and ailerons are always more effective than rudder. Generally, as the nose comes up, ailerons should become less effective. Has anyone had any success trying out this - I could be doing it wrong? Or it could be a P3D/NGX limitation? I haven't …

Hi all.. again.. The cockpit panel on my PMDG 737 ngx is not working. There is no way I can initialise the panels and everything is dark with the engines running, start levers are active. I cannot push any button.. any ideas.. Thanks again in advance guys.. Andili

I have apparently hit something in the setup menus on the FMC that is now causing me to have this simultaneous failure occur with relative persistence. How do I stop this dual-failure from continually occurring on nearly every flight? * I don't save nor reuse flights * I don't know what I have changed to cause this, but this is a recent event * I don't have failures turned on * It is consistent, the only failure that is occurring, both Hydraulics Elec 1 + 2, overheat/low pressure * This is always on the ground while setting up for a takeoff * This will NOT reset within the failures menu * I use Active Sky 2016 (live weather) Any thoughts / ideas? I've reviewed the previous discussions on this, but cannot get the FMC to accept departure SID or arrival STAR without receiving this error. I have reinstalled the aircraft, and have tried long press menu button. Pro ATC/X is running on a client machine. This all works perfectly with PMDG 777. Pro ATC/X version 1.7.2.0. PMDG 737NGX P3D v 1.14 P3D v.3 Flight KHOU to KDAL. Are there any particular logs or other files that might help?

Hi I am highly confused by behavior of my NGX. (read: must be pilot error ) I tried the LGKV approach today to runway 23L using VOR/DME approach. I passed 108.8 VOR using LNAV/VNAV and changed to hdg mode and entered 068 degrees course. After 10 nm from the airport I did left turn turning to 232 degrees. In the same time I set course to 232 to intercept 108.8 VOR from this course and pressed VOR/LOC button. Green light was on but aircraft did not capture right course (two lights were green: both under heading and vor/loc). I was still flying 232 as set on heading but with offset from VOR and not tracking the 232 radial to it. What am I doing wrong here?

Hello all, Currently flying LFMN-LICJ on the NG. Standard route, SODRI6A dep and GIANO2B arr with VOR-Z 07 approach. There is a discontinuity in the missed approach route (Navigraph AIRAC 1605). I canceled it and was on my way to Sicily. During cruise the FMC froze and I was unable to modify the route (directs). Apparently, what happened was that canceling that discontinuity made the FMC freeze. To unfreeze it, I simply uploaded my route again and made sure to not touch the missed app segment. Thats it! I don't know if it is a Navigraph bug or a NGX bug, but thought it would be useful to report it here. Mods, please feel free to delete if already discussed. …

Would like to congratulate the PMDG team for creating the most realistic 737 simulation for FSX . I am so happy with the hard work you guys have put into the NGX , but 2-3 small issues are creating a bit of problem to me like 1) Blurry graphics , the colors of the aircraft engines and tails become black during flight. 2) I am not getting sharp graphics in the vc . 3) FSX Crashes whenever I end a flight on the vc . Looking for hints as to what I may have done wrong. Was landing in KTYS on runway 5R, a GPS approach with WAAS designation on the approach plate (i am still new to this approaches, mostly familiar with ILS ones and not sure what is that i need to dial in)...anyway, I had the FMC Approach page set to 5R but when i intercepted the GS I ended up perfectly aligned with 5L instead! why? is it me, FSX or both? (on a side note, on NAV1 i had the frequency for ILS 23L which is the exact opposite of 5R because i thought i was going to land on 23L but then things changed and forgot to remove the frequency....is this why I ended up aligned with the wrong runway? shouldnt because 23…
