Hi, I am getting a spurious GPWS warning during go-around: When carrying out a dual channel auto go around, I am getting an aural "Too low, gear" warning with a red PULL UP on the PFD after raising the landing gear. This is despite carrying out the correct procedure, i.e. selecting TOGA, Flaps 15, positive rate, gear up... Currently running P3D 3.3 in Windows 10. Doug Boynton

Sorry not strictly a PMDG 737 problem although there is one parked at the finger. i was hoping to pick on your profound knowledge and ask you if you know what causes that weird texture flickering by the walls of the airport. I bought my boxed version of the 737NGX privately a few years back. It seems I am unable to upgrade to SP1d as I did not buy direct off PMDG or flightsimstore. Is this correct? I also found that it is not possible to raise a ticket on PMDG any more - just access to their rather scanty 'Knowledge Base'. I have SP1c at the moment which I did manage to update somewhere and now need the SP1d in order to get a virtual CDU up and running on a tablet. TIA

Hey ladies and gents, I know this topic has been made across this site and many others, However I still haven't been able to find a solution. Its the classic case of the NGX not initializing. Gauges left black and no animations. Here's what I've done to try and fix it 1: Deleted the PMDG folder in Appdata 2: Re-Installed 3: Repaired 4: Reinstalled P3D 5: Launched the game with default ATC tags, and with a default aircraft. Please help me out guys, this has taken a weeks work and still no luck. Thanks Tyler C

Hello everybody! A few days ago I updated my 737 to the lastest version available. After that, everything is wrong, There's a problem that block the flight controls randomly, i.e: after t/o with Aerosoft Barcelona X and AS16 I cant retract ldg gear or engage autopilot and I cant move the airplane manually. This also happened landing at Stansted also with AS16. I never had a problem like this with the other version. I attach you some screenshots. Please help! Thank you, Hécky

I installed the PMDG-737 in Windows 10 and when running it I noticed that the ND display is black and the PFD shows no indication on the speed tape and altitude tape. The engines are running and I wonder what settings are wrong to cause the above problem After installing the 737 I entered my activation code which was accepted. I downloaded via the manager the SAS Livery. That worked for a couple of times and then the problems started. I was unable to get the P3D to function It showed the startup Picture and a short glimpse of the next and then all of it dissappered. Tried to start it again and got answer that it was already running. Thought first it was the P3D program but after a clean reinstall found the fault in Livery. When this was removed also by the manager all is nearly normal. During start up is says that the SAS A/C could not be found and starting blank. Then it is ok to choose the ngx wl. Anybody to help? Thanks to all the great tutorials and posting I have learned that Cold and Dark is a rare starting point for a flight, but who can tell me the finer details of the differences between the Long and Short Turnaround states? I can guess from the name what the intention is, but how do they differ in what you'll find in the systems on and off? The FCOM will help you using "verify" and "make sure", but what can be expected?

Hi, Having a problem with my speed brake armed light coming on after loading the plane, Engines are off and ground power is hooked up but some times the speed brake light is illuminated. When this happens and I go ahead and start the engines the auto throttle will not engage. Most of the time I get out, reboot and everything is ok. Now its coming on more often and just a little later in the startup process. Not sure what is going on any help is appreciated.... Thanks Mike

Hello all, Some thing new for me, I'm currently cruising at an altitude the aircraft is saying is FL370 (STD (1013Hpa)). The actual aircraft altitude is FL320! I do not know how the aircraft can be so far out :S Please find an image below with the actual alt show in red at the top left. Fixed! No problems with the aircraft. It was the weather Engine (Opus)

I am still trying to work out how to properly use SID's / STAR's & Transitions etc, but had a problem on my last flight and wanted to see if someone could shed some light on it. Last flight was LGTS to LCPH (Pafos), flying in from the west and using the PHA1 transition to runway 29 - didn't use a STAR since the default NAV Data only offer's STAR's from the east. The route appears correctly in EFB and the ND - which is flying over the PHA VOR, turning to 128 degrees, then after 9nm turn 201 degrees to the left onto the ILS. Ok, first of all I thought I was imagining it, but after doing a test I know I'm not. The CHR timer is running a bit slow. Very slow in fact. It's actually losing 9 seconds for every minute. In other words it's taking 69 seconds to make a full revolution. Am I doing something wrong here or am I missing something simple? I'm not a real world pilot and I don't consider myself to be overly clever when it comes to flight simming either. I can just about do the basics. But one thing I can do is add and subtract numbers. So can someone please give me an answer?

I just watched a departure from Paro, Bhutan on YouTube in a BA146... holy cow. VQPR 7332 ft elevation runway 6445 ft. The experience captain departs North then immediately stays in the valley surrounded by 15-18000 ft mountains by turning right then after crossing a ridge hard left to stay in wider deeper valley. I had to try this. Placed my B736 BBJ on rnw 33 and lightened the load and takeoff N1 set to TO-B. Had plenty of runway but used ND in terrain mode to navigate, of which had a lot of red. By the time I got turned South and over the airport I was at 18000 ft but there was still plenty of red on the ND. That was fun.
