PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have created a fictional Royal Air Force variant of the PDMG P8 Poseidon which I would like to convert into .PTP format. Although based on the PMDG-737-800 NGX-WL, the P8 is not listed in the Operations Center or Livery Manager and therefore I can not use the export operation. Can anyone help? Andrew Gransden

Hi, I had to reset my pc because it was acring up, and everytime I try to reinstall the PMDG NGX, it says "For some reason, we lost track of your registry locations for fsx." I have done some research and I found that you have to update the installer, and I bought the item through aeosoft, and I don't know how to get the updated version, any help would be greatly appreciated. Good morning all. I am willing to have this marvellous ad-on but i want to make sure my computer will be able to run it perfectly, at least with no problems.. Those are my specs.. W7 64 bits. Intel Core i5-3570K CPU 3.40GHz. 8,00 GB RAM. GeForce GTX 650. Its That good enough? what should i improve to run it? or.. what should i change in FSX config to run it smouthly? Hey guys. Just got the saitek rudder pedals and have encountered an odd issue. When the rudder is plugged in, and only when it's plugged in as I cross checked this issue thoroughly, once the throttle is advanced anywhere past idle, and then returned to idle, the engines stop giving out thrust at all. What's odd is the simulation is still working perfectly. The engines show functioning and spoiling up, and the noise associated is correct as well. But I can shove it all the way forward to 100% and the plane won't move an inch. Once I disconnect the rudder and restart all is well. I couldn't find anything online about this at all. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi all I have no issues saving flight scenario with 777 but as soon as I move to 737 and save scenario in flight and then load it after sim restart, my aircraft starts to sink with sink rate call and panel is just starting from blank. Any clue?

Hello, one short, but for me important question. From time to time i cannot click, push, pull or rotate any knobs and levers in the virtual cockpit on my 737pmdg. Every Pop-UP via Shift+3,4,5,6 and so on works like a charm. Also the 2D-Cockpit works without any problems. But it is not possible to push any button on the mcp or radio panel in the virtual cockpit-view. It happens from time to time and i cannot reproduce it at the moment, but it is very confusing, if this is happening during approach. i tried to reset my point of view (CTRL+Space) but no improvement. My Siatek yoke connected through FSUIPC is no longer moving the trim wheel when the button is pressed. FSUIPC is detecting the button inside the calibration screen. When I grab the trim wheel with the mouse it speeds all the way to 15 Nose Up and then slowly wheels itself back to the original spot of 4.5. Something has changed and I don't know what. It's acting like the trim wheel is in some kind of lock mode. Any help please? Thank you

Hi everybody I have installed P3D_3.4 and PMDG737NGX (P3D-version) on Win10 and use them for a homecockpit. There are 5 monitors as cockpit panels showing zoomed instruments and the two CDU screens. By shifting and zooming I can place the displays with the mouse to the correct positions. Then I can save the flight and reload it. Up to now this works quite satisfying :smile: . Now I wanted to optimise/align positions and dimensions of the displayed instruments, as it was possible in the .flt files of FSX. But I was not able to find a readable file for that. I think these definitions are hidden in the nameofflight.fxml.fmc file. But this file is not readable by a simple e…

Hello. I'd like to ask - how does the Boeing 737-800NG hydraulics system look like? Does it have right and left side with engine pumps being primary ones, and electrical being demand pumps? Or does it have system A which works primarily and B which works as a backup? And also one more question. When I was learning to fly that aircraft, in the flows, I saw "Spoilers - Disarm" in Climb-Cruise phase and "Spoilers - Arm" during the descent and landing. But why? How does one tell the FMC to activate the selected alternate airport? Whilst trying to simulate this the FMC would not choose the alternate,I had to input into the arrivals overwriting the original destination. Surely there is an easier way to activate the alternate (ALTN)?

It is the second time it happens. It was flying from FSIA to OMDB. More than halfway (after passing AMPEX if I remember correctly) the plane turned gently and started heading in the opposite direction making gentle turns to one side and another. This happend after more that two ours of cruise with autopilot (vnav/lnav) and without touch anithing from the cockpit. Does anyone know what ranges of VSI values we are looking at on a 737-800 when the landing is: a- smooth (aka very comfortable for passengers) b- hard (few sounds of passengers disapproval are heard in cabin) c- very hard (loud sounds of passenger disapproval are heard in cabin) d- very hard (where mechanical inspection may be further needed) e- definitely needs repairs... thank you ps the categories i made are purely examples I came up with based on my business travel experience, it's just to give an idea. Hello Guys, At the moment I deal with the 737 NGX SDK, because i want to create my self homecockpit. for this I need the SDK from the NGX. In the "Options.ini" file I have set data enable to true. In the SDK folder from the NGX is an example. I use Microsoft Visual Studio 14 to program the sdk. the fsx sdk have I already installed. In the core utilities kit i can found the simconnect sdk in this folder i found the "SimConnect" header file and the library(.lib). I have copy the example file in my project. I have PMDG 737NGX loaded in in FSX and FSX-SE. Both FSX and FSX-SE are on the C Drive in separate folders. My problem is with FSX_SE, ,the only sounds I get are 1) Engine 2) engine reversers 3)wind noise when the gear is lowered and 4)other wind noises. I have no sounds from GPWS, V1, V2, etc. But in FSX I get all sounds. Any ideas. Thanx in advance for all replies. Roger Douglas.

I admire the flying that this airline does, from the ETOPS flights to the RNP approaches and the excellent fleet that they have--my NGX is painted in Alaska colors. I was trying to startup the NGX this morning, did the correct procedures said by the checklist, until I began to start the engines. I ignited the LEFT engine first, and it spooled up perfectly. Then I began to ignite the RIGHT engine next, and the N2 showed no power on the right engine. Lately I've been hearing that the right engine has to be started up first. Why, and will it solve my problem?

My Friend gave me his PMDG 737 800 900 NGX since he moved over to P3D so he doesnt use his FSX Version. When I put the activation code in when selecting the aircraft on FSX it doesnt let me activate the product. Kieran Reid

Hi, I am experiencing freezing issues when using the 737 ngx in fsx.Checking the event viewer gives me 'application hang,event id 1002. Has anyone else experienced this or been able to cure it.Any help much appreciated,it is driving me nuts as it is totally unpredictable as to when it happens.Could be 5 mins or half an hour into a flight or any other time. thanks
