PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi friends, I have a problem with my 737/800 NGX from PMDG. As soon as I engage the autopilot, it is not possible to change the flightdirection without switching the heading button from the autopliot and turning the headingselection knob. For example: Assumed heading direction is 300. Assumed speed is 250 knots and Altitude is 9000 feet. Now I engage the Autopilot with a chosen speed from 250 knots and an Altitude 9000 feet, both set by the Altitude and Speed knobs. Also the Autothrottle is switched on and the green LEDs are glowing. The plane flies now the 250 knots and holds the Altitude perfect as chosen. But I can not control the plane to change the heading,…

Hi Working on my own aft ovh panel and using sioc as the program. I can not get the LE panels leds to lit up when pushing the test button on my Aft ovh panel. It works on the vc panel though. Wonder if the problem is that There is none information to how they should be defined in all den sdk, vars or event lists. Any clues?

Hi there, Want to check with any other if you have the same problem as me and if there is a solution already. When I select failure mode on the 737 in the FMC to 1 (active) the variable is changed to 0 next time I open flight sim and choose 737. Anyone who got this problem and hopefully solved it? hi everyone, i am enjoying the 737ng for quite a while now , never really had a problem. FYI i own the 737 800 base package and the 737 600 expansion pack, i actually never flown the 800 i like the 600 series for short trip. ...a few weeks ago the 600 and 700 start acting differently but it is happening only when basically starting the approach around passing 10000 feet the spoilers or ailerons are raising for unkhown reason but only on one wing which as you can understand makes me not to be able to fly the approach and landing correctly. i have tried to disconnect the autopilot , flying manually , no changes. the one aileron or spoiler stays up on the one wing. not enti…

Hi all,I keep getting an alarm on take off, as soon as I activate TOGA, and I cant figure what Im doing wrong.Its a cycling buzzer alarm, no master caution thingy lights up.Flaps for set to 5 degrees, and match FMC.RTO armed, speed brake armed, V speeds show correctly.AT armed, FD on both side, LNAV, VNAV armed. Ive missed something, but I have no idea what. And I seem to keep doing it everytime. Any suggestions?

Hi everybody, I have a very silly question. What is a IAN Approach and how does it work with the NGX. I only know that it is something special from Boeing and I also remember, that NAV 1 and NAV 2 have to be switched for example to the VOR frequence (I do not know wether this is correct). In the FMC of the NGX there are no IAN Approaches stored. Is the use of a VOR Approach recommended. And how does it work. What is the correct procedure?. HDG mode to the IF point and then swich to APP ? I am not a profi, so be patient with me Thank you

If i remember correct somebody asked about this and was told that this is how it is supposed to be... Well I'm landing dark most of the times and having trouble spotting runway exit cause there's no lights whatsoever. I posted this on the 737 immersion forums as I thought they are the ones that can tweak it but I was told that that's PMDGs piece of pie From inside the cockpit it's impossible to spot runway marks everything is so dark. 777 is completely different so I know this isn't right. Ohh, i know, archi discussed ghost.... I revised several threads around and around. All talking about calibration issues. Is it possible that 100% of the times during tests, using position 1 and 2 the autobrake disarms, and 100% of times i use position 3 and max, the autobrake works perfectly? I recently started to fly the PMDG 737-800 NGX. I am having troubles using the autopilot. here is what i did; I create a flightplan from MILANO MALPENSA (LIMC) to FRANKFURT AM MAIN (EDDF) entering the SID, route, but leaving the STAR empty. This because i don't know the runway to land on. I usually enter these when receiving information from destinations ATIS. I engage both FD before take-off and setting the altitude, speed and heading. Once taken-off, waiting for 1000ft, i try to engage the pilots 'CMD', but it does not work. Hi guys, after loading up the ngx in full Matrox triple screen resolution, undocking and positioning the gauges is always an excersize in dragging and resizing. Is there a way I can save the position and size of the gauges after setup? Regards Jeff

I just started flying the PMDG 737 a few days ago and for some reason, I am not able to engage the VNAV, however, I am able to engage the LNAV. I have tried reading other topics but I couldn't get a clear answer. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I set my flight plan in the FMC and I have set the trim as close to the setting as the FMC recommended. Any help is appreciated. (Side question, when I use the base PMDG 737, it give me a newer looking cockpit, but when I use it with different liveries, it uses a different cockpit. Could there be any reason for that?) Since "generate routes" is down at simroutes.com It's cumbersome planning a flight. When entering the route into the NGX FMC and saving it, why doesn't it create and load the route into ASN (Active Sky Next) like it does for the 777? Or is this a feature I need to enable? Forgive me if this has already been answered. I am making the switch to FSX Steam from the boxed version. I did a fresh install of all my FSX products, I deleted all Boxed version addons, registry keys, etc. While installing the PMDG 737 8-900 I got the option for FSX Boxed or Steam and the same with my 777 200 and 300er. However when I try to install the 737 6-700 expansion pack I get the following error "Unable to locate FSX.exe for FSX - retail edition. Please contact PMDG Support and advise that you have a FAILURE TO FINS FSX RETAIL FILE FAILURE". I have tried the Flight one registry tool running as admin with no luck. Hello, I have a problem with the repaint of my PMDG 737-800WL and hope some of you know the problem and the soloution. The problem is that the three parts of the fuselage don't fit together, as you see in the picture below there is a thin line between the sections. This lines are defnitly not in the paint-kit so I guess the problem is when the plane gets stiched together. The question is how do i get rid of these lines? I hope some one of you knows the answer. I was watching a youtube with someone flying the NGX and noticed somehow the guy was scrolling REALLY FAST the numbers on the MPC. After some digging the light came on... PMDG programmed in the mouse scroll wheel to be able to change the values in the MCP... quickly, slowly... whatever you want based on the speed you spin the scroll wheel. Setting minimums... all sorts of things that if you don't know this trick, are slightly annoying. You don't have to do anything special, when the little hand pops up, the scroll wheel becomes active. Hi, I think that PMDG original sound are the best and most realistic sound but why Battery and Apu Gen sound are only have the click and not have sound like(i don't know how to say it haha) but IMMERSIVE AUDIO - NGX COCKPIT SOUND IMMERSION FSX P3D have it, so i confuse that who is correct ? so i start research in youtube and find the cold and dark video and i found that the battery and APU GEN in the video have the sound like IMMERSIVE AUDIO but not in the PMDG. Was hoping someone might know what my issue is.. Windows 10 P3D 3.4 PMDG 737 Using Virtual Cockpit Default Scenery AS2016 A few times now while at cruise altitude I expand the FMC and try to change a altitude crossing for a fix.. Example - I was on the RIICE7 Star going into IAH.. The charts told me to cross RIICE at 9000.. When I checked the FMC it showed I would cross RIICE at 9600.. I simply tried to change RIICE 240/9600 to 240/9000.., When I clicked to enter the new information the SIM froze.. I could not do anything in the SIM.. I could minimize the SIM to the desktop and bring it back up but still could not do anything.. Nothing worked.. No menu items…

Hey folks! I switched to P3D a few days ago. After installing the NGX (seperate purchase of course :wink:) I added all my previous liveries via the Livery Manager of the PMDG Operations Center. I'm using primarily repaints with accurate airline options configurations (for example: Filename 'pmdg_737ngx_800wl_aal.zip' on the AVSIM Library). Unfortunately all of this aircraft using the, let's call it standard setting like the house livery. The downloaded liveries with airline options configurations from the Livery Downloader of the Operations Center are working without any problems. Thanks for your help! Cheers, Matt Bacher

So, with Alaska air (and presumably others) replacing their -400F's with 700's, is there any chance of PMDG doing a combi or freighter model? I don't know much about designing simulations and all, but it would seem to me that all you'd need is texture modifications and the fuselage cargo door. Thanks, Marc Eichler

I just had a hard landing at Dublin (my fault of course!) Just to say the sim was amazing - The aircraft slewed and the cockpit horizon was over, not level, so I knew what had happened but i made a safe landing. In exterior mode you could see the snapped gear. Thank you PMDG for making an amazing sim! Previous bad landings have been crash and burn so I must be getting better lol Happy simming guys

1. I've noticed when using the FPV with the HUD that sometimes the smaller inner circle (don't know what that is called) which you are supposed to center inside the FPV symbol, does not appear. Why is that, is there something I need to do so the inner circle appears? Does it depend on a MCP mode? 2.
