PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have downloaded FSE-SE to a lap top so I can us MSFS when I am away from home. I will continue to use my PC based system when at home. I already own the PMDG 737NGX for my PC. I want to purchase a copy of the SE edition for use on my lap top. Should I log into my existing PMDG account and download and pay in the normal way or do I have to create a new PMDG account? Could someone please tell me how to obtain VOR freqs from the FMS? I know they are in there but I can't seem to locate the page where they reside. I checked the docs but didn't see it. I'm talking about VORs not waypoints on the active flight plan.I know where to find the waypoint freqs. Thanks Rick Messier

Hi, I have a really good PC, but my PMDG 737 Lags, I only get 10-25 fps in VC. In the outside view it's better. Here are my specs: - Intel I7 - 6700k - GTX 1060 6gb - 16gb ram I am using FSX Steam Edition. Could anyone help me, I would be very helpful. Despite the lagging doesn't bother so much, it would be nice to get rid of it.

I am using W10 with P3D V3.4, the PMDG 738NGX, AS 2016, TrackIR, and the latest version of FSUIPC. I recently noticed a weird issue with the HUD. In clear skies the HUD works fine. But while going thru clouds, the HUD display kind of "fades" in and out (i.e. goes from normal brightness to very dim and back). Its like the HUD is actually outside the aircraft passing thru the clouds. I tried switching from auto to manual mode, turning the brightness up all the way, and zooming my POV in and out, but that didn't help. Any ideas on this one? Thanks.

Updated Prepar3D to v3.4.18.19475 and received the following message during loading of the NGX: " Incompatible simulator version, current version v3.4.18.19475, these gauges will only work with P3D. You are running them in FSX SP2/Acceleration..." There is no such problem with the 777. Thanks for suggestions and assistance-- Robert Willis

What is this error in the CDU 'Pin error'? I was coming into Zurich LSZH, looking for the BLM2Z. R276 DCT KLO. Then I selected the ILS 34 instrument appoach, but had a pin error? After that I could not modify any of the way points. I had to just vector myself onto the intercept course of RWY34. This is with the AIRAC 1613 in PFPX and the PMDG FMS data. Not sure if it is a faulty navadata or user error? Jools

Twice in a row and at about the same point, I am getting an out of memory error not long after takeoff when flying Tutorial 1 for the NGX. It has never occurred anywhere else yet, and in fact, after it happened last night I flew a manual flight for about 2 hours without an issue? I'm in Prepar3d V3.4. Any ideas would be appreciated! Hi from Germany, it looks like as when I follow the vertical flight director command bar I get off the programmed course. I have the following preconditions: route is programmed both flight directors are switched on auto throttle is on VNAV and LNAV are armed TO/GA is pressed during takeoff After takeoff VNAV and LNAV become the active modes. I then fly manually and follow the flight director bars. The vertical guidance from the horizontal bar is correct. But the lateral guidance from the vertical bar seems not to follow the programmed course. E.g. the course after takeoff makes a slight curve to the right. So i finally got round to upgrade. PMDG 737-800/900NGX for FSX / FSX-SE (v1.10.6461) was downloaded from aerosoft. Unzipped and run installer as admin. Exe file was 769kb. however I still have SP1c when I look at the cdu and no radar. Is there a guide to doing this upgrade? TIA

PMDG737 HUD data clipping Trying to get (FSX-Acceleration and P3Dv3.4.14.18870) all the HUD data to fit in the HUD window. I use Ezdok. I can use the keyboard left/right arrow keys to align (center) the HUD data horizontally. But, I cannot e.g. zoom it out a bit to get all the data to fit into the HUD window.

Looking for some assistance reinstalling my PMDG 737- 800/9 NGX Boxed (Version1.00.3219) on FSX Steam Edition. I had problems with my GoFlt MCP digital displays staying at Zero's with the PMDG -737-600/7/8/9/ NGX all had the same problem even after a successful up-date install. I know this question has been asked and answered before, but I am asking again Split Scimitar winglets are more common than not on the 737-800/737-900 series, and they look so nice. If we could seen an option in the NGX for this, that would be absolutely AMAZING. I am just looking for the Appearance of them, not the functionality. I think all of us would be satisfied with just the look of them as long as we have something. Split Scimitar winglets are the way of the future and are skyrocketing in popularity. If we could seen at least an option to visually see these on the aircraft, I, along with many others, would be very thankful! Thank you Jack

Hi All. After a lenghty thread on P3D Forum I have been directed here to expose a situation. After a P3D v3 Crash (software not a plane) I recovered the Error report from window 10. Hi Guys, I use Navigraph to update the FMS and subscribe to their charts too. I'm having difficulty seeing any of the transitions listed in the CDU destination page anywhere on the charts... sometimes I get lucky but only sometimes. Any ideas, explanations for me? TIA

I had Autobrakes 2 set last night and came in at about 132kts (I was very light). I did as instructed in the tutorial and hit the manual brakes at just under 80kts. The brakes totally failed on landing and they then seemed stuck on. I then engaged and disengaged the parking brake, that released the stuck brakes. Then I had no brakes at all. This is bothering me and can't be at all realistic. Please don't ask me what my brake temperature was as I have no clue. I just want to turn the brake failures off while I'm learning to fly the damn thing.

So, I've been having some problems with the 737-800NGX. When I try to load an FSX-SE save (I don't have a lot of time, and I always save my game to complete the flight later on) it loads everything correctly exept for the previously saved Panel State. I end up with a need to load them manually, it's annoying during the cruise and very problematic during climb or approach (it takes a lot of time to load it and sometimes I just fall ). And after I manage to load panel state, HUD in the aircraft doesn't work anymore. Is there a solution to that? Everything was working fine but recently it just messed up and I don't know what to do . Hi all, I have recently purchased Active Sky 2016 and am struggling to get the weather radar working with the NGX. I have attempted flying in thunderstorms and also the WXR test, but nothing shows up on the ND. I can confirm WXR is selected on the ND and I have also adjusted tilt/gain multiple ways in attempt to get it working. When I click the WXR test with WXR selcted on ND, all that shows up is 'WXR Test' in yellow, but no coloured scans display.
