Hi I have PMDG DVD versions of 737 NGX and 747-400 Queen of the skies, however I cant load the PMDG Operations Manager to add textures to the PMDB 737 NGX I have uninstalled and reinstalled this is on a new PC that has only the flight sim on can anyone help please Regard Gordon

737NGX after acknowledgement to ATC on taxi instruction the request for progressive taxi lights are selected but no lights are shown. This has been a recent problem. Any suggestions??

Please forgive me while I try to explain the situation as best as I can. I'm not hearing the unique/authentic engine sounds that the 737NGX offer. All I'm getting are the default FSX engine sounds. Whether I'm in the VC or an outside view, the engine sound and volume is the same. There is not a difference in the type of sound. The engine sounds worked originally when I first installed PMDG, but put it away for a while and have recently started flying again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling PMDG with no success. I've searched all over the web and couldn't find anything related to exactly this. I've found bug posts with FSX with a solution of pressing 'Q' …

Have just spent nearly a day, trying to remove the "parking brake on", indication, at the bottom left of the screen. I have gone through all of my FSUIPC set up, and all the FSX settings menu, again and again. Finally resorted to a few F/S forums, to check if there were any answers, and what did I find. If the aircraft is CHOCKED, the park brake indicator, will show on. Solved my problem, thankfully. My first post here. I fly the NGX for FlyUK VA, and really enjoy the detailed simulation, which I bought a few months ago I have all my airframes set up to use a combination of fixed de-rates and assumed temp, and I use TopCat with NAVIGRAPH/ASN/VATSIM weather to generate takeoff performance data for each flight. I use either NADP1 or NADP2 (or whatever local variant of these is specified on the departure airport charts) but I've been reading Boeing's docs about their Quiet Climb System and I see this is modelled in the NGX as a 'cutback' option in the FMC. Hi all, I experience a problem when disconnectiog the A/P at final approach. I press Z twice but the A/P seems not to disconnect. What is the right procedure? Am I missing something? Thanks, Christos

Hello Captains, Does anyone know how to retract the airstairs after shutdown and the doors been closed. Even after I've added the ground power cart I can't get it to work unless the ground power is switched on within the aircraft. All seems a bit wrong to me. Any suggestions ? Simon

PMDG Team, I keep receiving the above message (Topic Title) from the Ops center each time I open it. I manually checked the entire NGX folder and substructures for all models including texture folders and aircraft config files. Everything on my end seemingly matches up and there are no mismatching or additional texture folders. How can I permanently remove this message? PS: each time I press the Select Option drop down box, and choose -> Ignore then press -> OK. - the very next time I open the OC the notification appears yet again. Appreciate some assistance. I fly for United Virtual and always turn trim air off while at the ramp because it's what United pilots do in real world. I have however no idea why anyone would do so since it's a bit weird to manage the temps in the cabin. You have to look after CONT, FWD and AFT cabin and adjust the respective settings because, well, trim air is off and it doesn't balance the temps itself. Anyone know more?

Forever I have always wanted to have a high quality Southwest Liveries for the NGX. I have always thought someone would redo the standard default paints for the Canyon Blue SWA paint job sense it is has been painted on more 737's then any other paint scheme. This is one of the reasons I started painting in the first place. After a year of work, research, and many many hours sitting at my desk I bring you the most in depth and detailed Canyon Blue paint I think anyone has made. My dad is a captain for SWA so I have gotten many images of spots I wouldn't be able to find pictures of. I have spent a massive amount of time finding and fixing faults in the NGX's textures. …

Hallo, short question, i installed PMDG 737 and always when i end a flight FSX:SE crashes to desktop. There is no error-message, beside that the program has stopped working. I use the latest PMDG 737 on FSX Steam Edition. Win 10 pro I5-6600 @stock B150M Pro4 8gb ram R7 200 Anybody else this problem? Thanks in advance Simon Wiesinger

Hello all, I am unsure how to go about this. I have tried to get an answer in an existing thread (2 monitor issue) with no response. I also tried a new topic (Multi screen docking) with no response. I went to the PMDG site and both support forums seem to be directed to AVSIM although that may simply be my bumbling efforts. This is my third attempt. Can ANYBODY please tell me if ANY instrument panels are dockable/undockable in any of the aircraft and if so which ones. Thank you Tony Chilcott

After I bought a new computer, Acer Predator G3-710 with a Nvidia 1060 graphics board I installed P3D3.4 and thereafter PMDG's 737-800/900 as per the instructions. As I had hoped that now the 737 would run as flawlessly as she did on my old system I was unpleasantly surprised, that the 737 didn't work. All instrument panels are black, the click spots are not clickable, I uninstalled the 737 and reinstalled it to make sure that I followed all given steps in the introduction. Hi, does anyone know if, now that the 747 has been released, PMDG will dedicate some time to polishing the 737? There are a few bugs that have been ignored by the company, having all their resources dedicated to new projects understandably. I don't know the list of bugs that there are, but I know one if them is the incorrect position of the speedbrake lever when in the down position, that makes it hard to click on certain CDU keys when using VR (the lever goes too far in and goes past its actual physical stop). Maybe the company has plans to bring their most iconic product up to current standards. I think the NGX hasn't aged a bit. It feels like it was released yesterday…

Dear fellow simmers, when I do a landing, autoland or non-presicion, it takes me a long distance to get the speed at about 60 knots. Looking outside the plane, when landing, I noticed that the automatic deployment of the speedbrakes does not work when I engage the reverse thrust. I use the Saitek pro flight yoke system and arm the speedbrakes by the throttle quadrant. But it also does not work when I arm the speedbrakes with the keystroke Shift+/. Thurtermore the speedbrakes are engaged. This problem is of course even more frustrating when you have to land on a short runway, which is almost impossible. I hope someone can help me to solve this issue. …

Due to the pressure of work I have not had time to do any flying. I thought I would do the tutorials again just to get back into the swing of things. I am trying to do tutorial 1 but having followed the tutorial documentation my aircraft is on the runway but the engines are not running and eveything is dead. Am I supposed to Load a saved flight or am I doing something else wrong? I feel like such an idiot not being able to even do the first tutorial. :-( Colin

Hey guys, I've read forums that date back years. My autopilot system in the 737 NGX will not activate correctly or stay on. Things I've tried --I've checked and checked my trim! --I've checked and cleared all failures in MCDU --I've Checked my settings and FSUIPC settings --I've reinstalled the NGX When I active the auto pilot only on CDM A or B will activate when of course usually both will activate and stay on once I'm well into my flight. That is not the case now and it didn't recently start happening. I do use Spad next for all of my exterior hardware so I am trying to look and see if that is the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i download liveries using the operations center. currently when i load the custom livery on 737-800 winglet in to the sim, the plane will not initialize. when i try the base livery, its fine. its happened before and i have tried uninstalling the FSXSE / addons. I even kept track of what i was installing and testing it. things were working, I put FsPassengersX on, noticed the issue, uninstalled FsPassengersX and still happening. its just not one livery. i tried Air Jamaica and American AIrlines right now custom 737-800 non-liveries will initialize but before i reinstalled, even that stopped working. After a 4 hour flight i switched on the dome light and it crashed straight to the desktop with no Prepar3D has stopped working. No report in the event viewer or the appcrash! Not sure why this has happened? Bad install of the 737 NGX ?

I purchased the 737 a few days ago and I have a lot of manual reading ahead of me. I have taken a couple of succesful flights starting from the default engines running state, but when I have time, I will need to learn the cold dark start up procedures. In the meantime I want to get some hours in with my VA, but the tracking software they use requires a brakes on engines off start. The short panel state seems perfect for my needs however I have not been able to start the engines from this state. Is there a reference or procedure that gives a step by step starting sequence from the short panel state? Thank you
