PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

What values for passenger weight does PMDG use? They are not corresponding with PFPX/TOPCAT values are they? After putting in the payload on the page in the FMC I always get a substantial difference in ZFW.

Using Logitech Extreme Pro joystick. Slider always worked perfectly to control both PMGD throttles until now. I can start both engines but joy stick will move only one throttle, #2 engine. Cannot figure out solution. Please help. zach

Hello fellow 737NGX simmers, this is a small project I had on my mind for a long time but I never really felt the need to do it. I always wanted to have a generic Normal Checklist I could print on a DIN A4 paper which doesn't reflect any airline specific items, phraseology or logos but still has got a clean and easy to read layout. As of today I have finally started and finished it and addtionally created a replacement texture for the yoke checklist shown in the virtual cockpit of the 737NGX. I recently bought a new graphic card, GTX 1070, replacing my old GTX 770. I've mostly flown other aircraft lately, but recently I've done a few flights in the NGX. It struck me that the night textures in the VC looks kinda pixelated compared to other aircrafts (the 777 and the 747 for instance). I've attached a picture showing how it looks for me: (Not the best picture, it does look worse full size) I thought that my old GPU was to blame for this, but it still looks the same with my new one. I'm running a resolution of 1920x1080, and high resolution vc textures are selected in the options. My questions is; is it supposed to look this way, or is there …

After installing the B737-800/900 I tried installing the B737-600/700 and got the message attached. Need help. I also tried to download free liveries but that didn't work because of "DPI" issues...don't know how to fix that one either.

Hello All. I'm having a problem with the PMDG 737-800 NGX. When im on the ground, or even in the air (if i can takeoff), my yoke movement is restricted. BTW I'm using my mouse as a yoke, but the yoke in the game won't turn very far at all. In the first picture labeled "1", that is showing how far left my yoke will go. The second picture is how far right it will go. Picture 3 is what my PFD displays. Even when I follow all the steps of a checklist and create a flight plan in the FMC the restricted turning and Red X appear. I DO NOT have auto rudder enabled either. Hello, I have never had this situation before and would appreciate some assistance. I had a glitch with the 737ngx which required a re-install. In the Panel State folder all my previous Liveries are in place but when I open flight sim Select Aircraft there are only the PMDG default aircraft visible. Is there some way whereby the default aircraft can be loaded with the Liveries in the Panel State folder. I don't fancy deleting them and doing a reinstall. Much obliged..

When the NGX is powered by DC only, the aileron movement is limied to 4 units on the aileron trim scale. Is the cable drive feature not modeled?

For all flaps-down operations (any time the flaps are not full-up) the minimum maneuver speed is the slowest speed that provides full maneuver capability, 1.3 g’s or 40° of bank (25° angle of bank and 15° overshoot) to stick shaker. The top of the amber band does not vary with g load.

I have the ngx and have encountered radio issues since I uninstalled FSX (I use P3D V3.4.). I have seen threads with the Airbus x and I also have this problem although none of the solutions have worked. I have reinstalled FSUIPC multiple times and when I try to reinstall SIMCONNECT files I get "the specified article already exists" message so it doesn't install. I have tried getting rid of the SIMCONNECT files but it didn't work still. I can't change the radios from stby to active when connected to vPilot which I need to be able to do to use VATSIM. Any ideas? Would reinstalling FSX help? I have installed the demo since I lost the discs, and would that have the same effec…

Hi all For my PMDG737NGX homecockpit I'm looking for a pleasant sound solution. Warning and pack sounds from front panel resp. overhead, engine and gear sounds from behind, voices in wired headsets, just as an idea. I have seen in the settings that NGX offers only two audio sources that can be sent to different outputs (primary and voice playback device). Any suggestions to get a more realistic sound distribution would be most appreciated. Kind regards Urs Meyer

It's stated in different professional forums that turning Autothrottle off when on final can be done in 2 different ways: 1- "Deselect": done by pressing the buttons situated at the thrust levers. In this case, the thrust is manual but the thrust mode announciates "Arm" and the A/T is armed so it engages automatically for alphafloor protection or by pressing the TOGA switches in the case of a go around. 2- "Disconnect": done by turning off the A/T switch on the MCP. Hello everybody, today i was flying from EHAM to EKBI (EHAM ANDIK UN873 TUSKA N873 MIKRO GE EKBI) arrival on the ILS 09 TRANS. GEN. Intialized the descent, i selected the approach profile (30/140) and tuned the 2 NAV radios to the frequency suggested by the FMC: 110.30, selecting also the final course 086° on the both MCP course. Once arrived at the approach phase, i turned the 2nd pilot PFD in APP visualization, activated also the NAV radio sound feedback as well the MKR sound. Finally i activated the VOR/LOC mode on the MCP. The aircraft was flying the last leg before entering the LOC, i could hear the ILS code, but on the APP display it doest seems capturing …

Hi all, I think I found a mistake in the EULA, maybe worth correcting. In the FSX PMDG 737 600/700 expansion is "for use only with Prepar3d by Lockheed Martin" although it is the FSX installer. Thanks, Daniel Rehling

When I load a tutorial the NGX nose dives and crashes if I don't exit the sim. When it first loads the auto throttle and auto pilot are engaged but within a second they turn off and the acft nose dives. If I wait until the acft has completely loaded(the countdown at the top of the screen has stopped, I have crashed). FOR THE PMGD STAFF: Normally when such as this happens I uninstall and reinstall the acft. But now when I rescind the license using the FMC (as I finally learned is the way to do it!!!!) it I get a message that my license has run it's course (not verbatim) and if I rescind the license I cannot use the NGX anymore. Hello, I have a 2013 laptop with this specs: Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ 2.40-3.40 Ghz NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 740M 2gb 12 GB RAM DD3RL (1600 MHZ) I can run smoothly FSX in medium low specs with default/freeware scenery and also Piper Pa46T Jetprop from Carenado as well as their 182 RG and A2A 172 "trainer". Initially did succeed logging in using my old address and managed to change my profile to the new address but since then I have not been able to log in or get a new password sent to my new address.

Sometimes the door light comes on for both doors over the wings, doors that i actually never open. I can't seem to find a reason for this but the last time was when I switched the power from engines to APU prior to cutoff fuel (once i engaged the barking brake). Is there any correlation to this or just a coincidence?

I have installed the two packs of the 737 NGX but in the simulator (FSX S.E.) I only have the versions without winglets. On the other hand, with the Operations Center I can not put the liveries on all the planes. Thans.

I thought I would make this post for us to be able to list off somethings that we would like to see in a newer version of the NGX.
