PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, I recently bought my new pc for FSX:SE. I want to buy the pmdg NGX but i'm not sure if with my pc I can have a smooth experience without lags considering that I use FTX global, ASN and AI traffic. This is my system: CPU: i3 7350K 4.2 GHz 4MB cache RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400MHz GPU: GTX 1050Ti 4GB What do you think my performaces will be? Thanks and sorry if my english isn't 100% correct

Hi Guys Yesterday I fired up my sim and selected the 737, ready to fly. However, it asked for my activation code again. No problems, I just entered it and it worked fine. I just wanted to know if it's normal for it to ask after the initial activation Thanks Pete

I bought the PMDG 737-800/900 from the official PMDG website, and it has been working properly for the first 2 months or so. (I play on FSX:SE) Around 2 weeks ago a problem started occurring. On (some) flights, (maybe something like 2 in 5 flights) the virtual cockpit stops responding to my mouse clicks mid-flight wile cruising. The 2D panels work fine, but the 2D cockpit looks something like this: (thanks @qantas747) I literally can't use anything while in VC. I tried changing camera views using (A) and getting an outside view of the aircraft then going back in, but nothing worked. Running FSX:SE. W7 VC view selection causes screen to scroll down automatically. Example, Upper Overhead selection doesn't hold the view, but commences to move downward. Same with other interior view selections. Doug

I noticed that the NGX causes an error in P3D v3.4.18, I keep getting a whole row with: [Error.0] Error=Unable to create effect '(null)' When I removed the NGX, the error was gone and when I reinstalled the NGX, the error came back. I just did a complete Fresh install, from a fresh Win10 up, and the only addons on there are NGX and QotS II. Is there any advise on how to handle this, or can I just ignore this error?

How can the NGX be used as a checkride training tool? P.S: I'm just an enthusiast, not a pilot...

Hi, After the recent creators update window10 I have big problems with my pmdg aircraft 737ngx and 777 737: noting works i cannot move any button, and missing The NGX runs a 20 second initialization routine. I know the real BBJ expansion is not available yet, but I have seen some slick BBJ liveries for the 800. I am currently using the 'Bandit' livery. Does anyone else have a favorite ?

Howdy all, After a period of limited simming (and largely using the very awesome Coolsky DC-9 when I do), I've started flying the NGX again. I see that they have discontinued liveries and so on and gone to an operations center (which started with the 777 which I don't have and probably won't buy despite how awesome it apparently is). After searching the forum, it appears I need to re-download the NGX and run the files to update it. Apparently that will delete the liveries I have (which aren't very many) and I'll need to reinstall them and add others, etc. Any other tips or tricks for the unwary anyone can suggest? Hey, So im having issues installing PMDG 737 600/700 add on by saying it cant find FSX.exe. So im guessing now you would send me to Flight ones registry repair..... it doesnt work! =[ Any ideas?

I know there were some issues with P3D but this is FSX:SE. Even if I choose a different version of the 737 an activation box pops up. Activation always accepted but it is a real nag. I checked SERVICES to see that "net-logon" is not disabled and it is okay. Dunno what else to try. Help appreciated Neal Howard

I've been using the NGX with both P3D and FSX:SE for the last couple of weeks. I've been using FSX more than P3D recently, but most all NGX flights are P3D. However, today I wanted to use FSX:SE with the NGX and I loaded the model (default state) and setup the FMC. When I tried to adjust the speed on the MCP it was frozen. Neither the mousewheel or clicking would work on the MCP at all. Most of the overhead switches work, but not all. The flap handle and spoilers would also not move with the mouse, although they were moving with keyboard controls. To make the situation crazier, the MCP works with the 2D panel. Hey, My system always crashes yielding "FATAL ERROR OCCURRED" message when I try to load a saved flight. (PMDG 737NGX) I use windows 7 64bit. Below is event log relating the crash. Seems like FSX and PMDG conflicts inside. There's no problem starting a flight with "FREE FLIGHT" menu on FSX. Any thoughts? Never had this problem before. Now, I pushback, start engines (Bleed on...Packs off).Move throttle forward(tHRUSTMASTER) but engines won't spool. Calibrate Thrttle. but same problem. Using manual for startup. Doug

When I select the livery even if I run the Livery Manager as an admin... it will pop out a window saying this... "oops unknown variant!" I believe that PMDG should give freely an update or a download of PMDG operations center to old users who bought the 737 some years ago. Today the old customers can't install new liveries due to the livery manager problem and no access to a PMDG operations center. Thank you.

I have noticed that the throttle levers move slow compared to the position of the "physical" throttles. The position of the physical throttles is corresponding with the announciators on the ENG displays and these move as fast as the physical throttles but if I move the physical throttles from idle to full, the animation of the movement is slow and not corresponding to the actual position. In 777 and 747 this is not the case and the throttles move in the same manner as the physical ones. Why is this bugging me? This issue becomes most noticable on final when flaring and cutting the throttles which results in a float for me due to slow decay of thrust...I know I might "over…

Have a problem with the Mach airspeed and Stall warning test buttons. Using the SDK events via FSUIPC, I have set up my physical push buttons for normal preflight testing. On pushing the buttons, the warning buzzer goes on as it should, but it refuses to stop. This applies to all 4 buttons, and it doesn't matter which parameter I use, it keeps doing the same thing. When I go to the overhead in the sim, the buttons are showing as released. I have to then push the buttons with the mouse cursor, to silence them. The L/E devices and Wing overheat test buttons behave as they should with no problems. I just cannot figure out what is causing this issue.
