Hi all, Could anyone let me know what liveries come with the -600/-700 expansion, I can't seem to find the information anywhere. Also as a side piece, do you get new ariac date with the expansions? Thanks, Alex

I would like to know how the headsets are normally used in the real NG - only for ATC and ground comm or also for comm between the captain and FO due to lots of noise on the flight deck?

Hi Friends: I would like to know what the letters that flash in front of the selected speed with the IAS / MACH dial on the autopilot panel mean. I could not find this. Now I have "A" flashing in front of .78 M. Flying at FL380 and .78 Mach speed. I can`t see any wrong. Thank you Jorge Novelo

I purchased PMDG 737 NGX . It installed and activated. the VC is running but the control column is not present, nor is the FMC CDU present. Everything else seems to be okay.

HelloFirst I want to apologize for my bad english and to thank for this wonderful 737.I am missing the HUD in the added liveries like air berlin or Austrian Airlines. In the standard PMDG aircraft (800, 800WL, 900, 900WL, the type doesn't matter) HUD works fine. In all added liveries the HUD is not there. You also cannot see the deactivated HUD in the VC above the front window. It just fails. I tried reinstalling NGX and reinstalled all liveries, but it didn't help.My computer is an Intel iCore 7 2600, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5870, Win7 64bit.I allready searched on web, but I couldn't find some help.Thank you.

Hi All, I exclusively fly the pmdg 737ngx and have been searching in vain for an android app that will display specifically the PFD and ND on a tablet. I'm not sure if such an app exists but I have seen similar products for GA aircraft only. FYI Im using P3Dv3.4 at the moment. Thanks Branko Markovic

Hi, I'm using P3D V3 and lately I've been noticing that the beacon light is way too big and too bright when it flashes (see screenshot at this link: https://ibb.co/cjCp05). I don't remember having this issue before. I remember it being a nice and smooth subtle flash... Tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the NGX, but that didn't change anything. Any idea what can cause this ? Which file is being used to render this flashlight ? Maybe another addon has overwritten it ? FSLabs A320 is also installed (which comes with FS Spotlights). Dunno if that has anything to do with it ? Thanks Mathieu

So I finally got the MCP from Opencockpits (v3, no box, Honeywell with backlight). I thought that this 'Plug and Play' product would be that, more or less. 3 hrs in, still scratching my head. This is for use with PMDG NGX in FSX. I understand that I need the connecting interface, SIOC, by the manufacturer, but there's another plugin required in order for it to communicate with PMDG. And this far I've only found this thing called OC4BA. The software is roughly 50€!!! I'm not in the financial mood to spend that at the moment.. There's a freeware version, but it is said not to work with the latest version of NGX. If anyone here use these products together,…

Hi. Has anyone seen a repaint for the PMDG 737 NGX 800-900 variants of a factory green primer, like when they come straight out of the factory at Renton? I see some, but they're for other addon 737s, and not the NGX.

I'm using TOPCAT to calculate takeoff performance data and have a question about the table you get by pressing the 'Compute' button after entering all other data such as weights, fuel on board etc. More specifically I'm wondering how to use the flex (assumed) temp in a realistic way? This since there are a number of temps to choose from where the higher the temp, the shorter the runway margin. Is it simply up to the captain to decide and if so, based on what exactly? While we anxiously await the service pack, I wanted to let everyone know that version 1.0 of my bump maps and speculars have been uploaded to Avsim and should be available soon. They work with ANY -700 livery, both WL and non-WL. This is my first attempt at doing anything like this. I'm sure there will be inaccuracies and errors so please let me know and I will issue updates as needed. Hey Guys, I have recently moved to Prepar3D_v4 and was thinking about buying the 737 NGX. After doing some research I heared the were informations leaked about a possible 737 NGX v3 as the old one was released 5 years ago. I dont wanna buy the 737 ngx now and pay for the newer version in a few months. So what do u think ? Will the 737 v3 be released soon or can i buy the current version without having to worry that a newer version will be released in 2017.....

I'm trying to setup a Brunner CLS-E yoke in the most realistic way to mimic what the yoke feels like in a real B738 and now I would like to know how turbulence affects the yoke in the real aircraft. Will turbulence normally only affect the aircraft itself where you as the pilot use the yoke to correct for that or will turbulence also have a direct effect on what you feel in the yoke meaning you can/will feel how the yoke spikes to the left/right and up/down in your hands for example?

Recently I've been getting the OOM chime from FSUPIC about 3/4 of the way though the flights. It seems to be happening more often. I haven't crashed yet because of it, and I was wondering if someone can explain to me in layman's terms whats going on and if there is an easy way to fix it. For now I've turned off the chime, but I want to know whats going on and if there is something I can do to fix it (simply, layman's terms). Notice - when the chimes start, its usually on descent into an airport, and as of yet I have not crashed to desktop, I have been able to finish the flight. Hi all. An old topic sorry, I have a problem like many others, seen here. Is there an "official solution"? Here is a copy of Paul Schmidt's problem posted February 25. I have exactly the same problem. " After a while the mouse clicks, switches and rotary knobs stop working in the PMDG 737 800 virtual cockpit. Sometimes some clicks still work, but most don't. It happens a varying from time to time. It does not happen in every flight. I have no details yet on what causes the issue. The PDMG 737 NGX is the only plane with that problem." No problem with the 777. Any ideas? regards

Hi there, I'm looking for a way to set a hotkey for the standby frequency switch button. You can't set it in the PMDG CDU and the default action via FSX is not working. It is so important to me, because i'm right handed and i use a joystick. So when im departing, i need to change the frequency from tower to center quite soon after take off. Right now i have to switch hands to have my right one free to use the mouse and push that little button. It's pretty annoying ;) I appreciate any help :) Greetings, Tony

Hi, i had an ENG FAIL messgae after the spool-up took to long as I did not switch Fuel Cutoff switch to ON on time. The restart was not succesfull (N2 reached 18,1% only). Is there anyway to recover from such failure? Kind regards, Kris

Hi guys. I am new in forum and i am sorry for my bad language... This plug-in worked well for 8-9 months, but I started getting this error last week. I have PMDG 737NGX but when i tried to start this program im getting this error "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this program." So what i did? I did 4-5 times reinstall PMDG 737NGX but nothing happened. Then i found another advise which installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64), i did too but nothing happened again. What else? What can i do to solve this problem? I know this is a topic that comes up from time to time and was hoping that the state of these calculations had improved since a year or two ago when I last saw a topic on this. I fly the PMDG 737 almost exclusively (hard waiting for it in V4). I tend to fly in some smaller airports. A lot around Alaska at places like PASI and PAJN. I'd love to be defaulting to the 737-700 over the 737-800, as some of these runways either require a turn around on the runway or are a bit shorter. Problem is that I have a decent calculator for the 737-800 (rather good actually, TOPCAT), but not the -700. The TOPCAT profile is for the CFM56-B22, not -B24 engines modeled on the PMDG.…
