Hi guys, quick question, anyone else got this issue? only happens with cloud shadows on, weirdly enough even if there are no clouds. GTX 1080. Reinstalled everything, rolled back the display driver and nothing has helped. completely stock sim in this case with the ngx installed and activated. P3DV4 cheers James Workman

I bought 737 NGX 737 800-900 and installed FSX WINDOWS 10 Everything worked fine until to have a message asking me the activation code that is on the box. that's what I did and he refuses me this code I did an application a aerosoft who me respond I need to speak directly to PMDG. Impossible to find or contact I'm 82 years old and don't see what I need to do I can communicate my activation code if asked

I've searched this forum for some solution to this problem and tried all of the suggestions as follows: 1. Press the Q button twice 2. Adjust the sound options in FSX ... I've placed all sounds at 32 and the engine sounds to 100 3. PMDG Sounds options are Master Vol 100, Controls 100, Ambience 70, Warnings 100, GPWS/TCAS 50, Gnd Comms 50, External 100 4. The latest updates for the boxed version of the PMDG 737NGX does not install correctly. Initiating the install takes me through the process of uninstalling the current boxed version of the NGX. The next step is installing the latest version (The 1st 50% of the installation bar just flashes by - the 2nd 50% takes a minute or to to install). The Operations manager then opens up allowing me to install some liveries where after the installation finishes "successfully". When starting FSX and selecting an aircraft only one entry for the PMDG 737 NGX is listed. The entry only displays the default FSX Icon. Hi guys, Since installing P3Dv4 on release I have had a total of 3 crashes, two of which I have determined the cause of. Just had my third one, flying the 737-900 KLM out of EHAM. Was at cruise, not doing anything but looking around the beautiful flight deck enjoying the night lighting. There were a couple of stutters as the sun was setting and the general lighting in the sim me was diminishing, and then the dreaded p3d crash occurred. I'm having a strange issue/response with the 737-800 in P3D v4. I say strange, because I've used this aircraft extensively in P3D v3 and it has not behaved this way. What I'm seeing is the aircraft has very poor acceleration from V2+20 to 250 kts after acceleration height. During this time, the aircraft also takes a nose down attitude. It seems the nose down attitude comes as I accelerate through 160-180 kts going to flaps 1. The aircraft then often has no acceleration for seconds at a time, or is very slow. Additionally, VS can be zero or descending, and rarely >500-1,000 fpm. I have ensured that I am trimmed appropriately for takeoff, have removed the d…

Just download 737 800/900 for P3d v4. Performance settings are high. Anyone else seeing this? What could be the problem ? Bob Dee

Hello guys! I want to know if this is an bug or a crazy configuration but the strobe light in the back is flashing a little to fast in my opinion i can recall that on the previous version of the 737 (FSX n P3D v3) all 3 white strobe lights flashing together, not the wing at the same time and the back is a fast flashing. I've made another thread recently about FPS drop whilst undocking displays or the CDU, now I've noticed something else strange on the 737NGX v1.20.8396 on P3Dv4 (hotfix 1). I installed this new version after completely uninstalling the previous version. The problem I am seeing is that I get a massive FPS drop when activating any of the internal cockpit lights, ie the main panel lights, dome white, panel bright knob, emergency exit light etc. Now this occurs whether I have dynamic lighting ON or OFF. I checked my CPU and GPU usage and the GPU was running between 30-50% and all the CPU cores were not maxed out so it does not appear to be a hardware problem. The w…

Hello. I have had acute problems with Pmdg 737 NGX. I recently bought a new computer and installed Prepar3d v4. Because Pmdg promised that owners of previous versions of 737 would get the update to v.4 for free, I downloaded 737 home from Pmdg´s homepage this day. I downloaded the basic package 737 800/900 and the expansion package 737 600/700 from the page for my previous puschase. When installing the basic package, something obviously went wrong. Not the text itself, but when I bring up the CDU to 2D, the entire panel will get lighter or darker, not the text but the entire CDU frame included. It's like someone is turning the generator switch on and off and there's a loss of power or something. It's still useable, this is difficult to explain without a video and I have no idea how to make one. It's not lighting shadows because it will happen on the stand. Several times when flying PMDG's 737 NGX for P3D V4 my computer has suddenly rebooted. This only happens in P3D V4 with this aircraft - works ok with other planes. Anybody having similar experience? Any suggestions? Im trying to find event files but not sure where to look.

After the release of the new installer for the PMGD 737 NGX I downloaded it today. I followed the instructions and uninstalled the older version for P3D v3. When running the installer I choose to install both v3 and v4 at the same time. The NGX runs ok in P3Dv4, but not in v3. After starting the sim and selecting any of the PMDG aircraft I get a window with this: ERROR: Activation library handle creation failed. Manually entering the right code in the popup window fails. I checked the FlexNet service but it seems ok. Reinstalled PMDG for only v3 and for both v3 and v4, nothing helps. Strangely v4 never complains about the activation code. Any suggestio…

When I originally installed the program, I had no problem with the STAR's or SID's for KORD. But, now they seemed to have disappeared. Is this an issue with the B737NGX program or with Navigraph?

Hi again.... this installler stuff starts to make me crazy. So today i saw theres an update for the 737. Hitting the update button lets a txt file popup where it tells me to download whole installer again. Ok, np, downloaded it and tried to deinstall the 737 first, to install the new installer. To my surprise it didnt let me deinstall. In Win programs list, if i deinstal, the installer opens without option to deinstall. See video. After a couple years away from flying I decided to download and reinstall the 737NGX into a fresh install of P3D v3.4. Now I'm getting "ACTIVATION LIBRARY HANDLE CREATION FAILED" because of licensing system. Went to PMDG's website and there's no way to contact them at all, not even via email. I'm kind of at a loss for words after the massive price I paid for this product... Is anyone experiencing this issue as well? Greatly p*@#ed off. :(
