PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hallo. I have a new computer and I have Prepar 3 d v.4. I have downloaded PMDG 737 Baspack and 737 expansionpack but I can not install them. When I delete baspack from controllpanel the baspack no delited from my harddrive. All files is left in PMDG folder. But I can not see any PMDG on list of installed program on my windows list to the left. Can any help me? Kjelle

Everytime I fly the NGX I get the master caution light and when I look at failures I have 1, "PAX 02 MASKS DEPLOYED." I set my cruise altitude in the panel and I only had a V/S of 1600 ft. Right above the pressurization it shows a "auto fail" light. My FLT ALT and LAND ALT all have dashes across the display. Anybody else have this problem or have a solution?

Maybe a stupid question, but did the expansion pack is already compatible? if so did somebody can help me please to do the installation, becasue I tried to install it several times and always go to v3. I appreciate any help and thx

Hello PMDG, hello fellow forum users, oh boy I'm so glad I can once again enjoy this beautiful 737 on it's latest V4 rework. Thank you guys for this quick port to V4. For one that only now did the switch to P3D, the waiting was horrible. I purchased V4, cleaned my system (fresh OS install) and waited like forever to be able to fly something. Here my experience: 1. Installation: went pretty smooth on my end. I did run as admin and it was a "click and forget" thing. 2. Activation: Again no problem at all. 3. Flight. Hello, I have just update a PMDG 737-800/900NGX for FSX; VERSION v1.20.8389 - and during instalation I got an activation library error - activation library creation failed Hovewer I managed to lunch fsx but i can't click nothing in cocpit - does anyone have similar issue.

Hello i just bought this great plane yesterday, and i wanted to download some liveries, and when i got to the PMDG Operation Center Folder I just have 3 files there, "OpsCenterUpdater.exe", "PMDG_Icon.ico" and PMDG-OC-Manuakl.pdf". When I open OpsCenterUpdater as admin or not, it only says "Connecting to server" and then nothing happnes, the program quits by itself, and can not get the operation center, is it something with the p3dv4 version?? or i am missing something? I downloaded the file yesterday from PMDG, so i dont know what to do next. Please need some advice/help here. Cesar Soto Martinez.

This has happened to me a couple of times now where if I am doing a 3+ hour flight and click on the primary flight display P3Dv4 will CTD. I have had this issue with the 737NGX, 777 and B744 QOSII. Hello, I have a issue with the 737NGX in P3Dv4. When I'm in the VC and move the camera forward (Chaseplane) the nose textures are missing ( radome ) anyone else experiencing this ? For the record I only have this with the 737NGX, the 777 and the 747v3 are A ok. Thanks for your help, Marinus Bergsma.

Just installed the ngx in P3Dv4 AND noticed when clicking on the CDU or PFD or ND to undock it I get a significant FPS drop, for only a second or two, then it goes back to normal. I have the frames locked at 30 so undocking any of those instruments causing stutters for a second or two. I didn't have this in the P3DV3 version. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi! Just downloaded a fresh installer from my account and got an error when running the installer. I assumed that the new version worked with 3.3.5.17625 as well, but is it only with 3.4 and 4? I really hope that it is possible to get it to work in 3.3 as well. Image of my error and above the date of the installer.

A quick forum or Google search didn't reveal any obvious fix so here it goes. It's been a really long time since I've played FSX (SE version) so today when I tried to play and the scenario wouldn't load I decided to reinstall PMDG, since this problem appeared every time I used the 738 NG. I uninstalled PMDG, manually deleted the Operation Center folder on the Program Files and proceeded to download the latest installer. Everything went okay with the installation, except the Operations Center Updater, which every time I run it shows the following error: "Product Module 737NGX XSE.dll" has failed to download after 3 attempts. Sorry to post this as I see others having more major problems. But I'm wondering why the INBD and LOWER DU rotary switches, when rotated don't work. The others do. I got the Upper to dim once but can't get it back to bright. And the lower has never worked. P3Dv4, Win 7/64, newest NGX I bought last night. Thanks

Does the P-8A Poseidon work in P3D V4? I have installed the V4 update of the 737 and the civilian variants appear to work correctly. When I load the P-8A I get a graphic that blocks the virtual cockpit from being seen. What have I done wrong? If this has been brought up before point me to the forum entry. Russ Smith

After installing the new PMDG737NGX in P3Dv4 I loaded the P8A Poseidon. The initial eye point is behind the jump seat and requires to be moved forward to view the instrument panel (using CTRL+BS). This does not happen with the standard 737NGX 800. Checking the aircraft.cfg files for each aircraft (737NGX and P8) the eye point values are identical as: [Views] eyepoint = 46.462, -16.4, 4.75 As the P8 is based on the 737NGX the longitudinal distance (first value) should be the same. Good evening , Just installed the latest installers on a vanilla P3DV4. I flew a " delivery " flight from KBFI to CYFB and noticed both times that the waypoints that should be on the RWY extended centerline do NOT line up with the latest but are a few degrees off. I checked before flight , the database was Navigraph 1707. Is there some file I should update ? Is it a known issue within the Sim and should I just ignore it ? Thanks for your feedbacks .

Thanks PMDG. I bought it a while ago for FSX and since I went to P3D never re-bought it. So now that I have the 747 for P3Dv4 I thought why not? So I bought it tonight and installed it and everything went perfectly. HUD works, it flys as well as I remember it did, and even with Dynamic Lighting on (yes, I had to test it) it works perfectly, FPS 35-65. Loaded all the *.ecs files from EZCA into Chase Plane and I only had to adjust one camera. (They were the ones from that video company, can never remember which one as I have the 737 vids and the Q400 vids). Hi all - I've searched and read a few threads about the following issue, but I still have no luck on resolving it. Issue: The FMC setup for a particular runway, while working in the airplane, does not visually line up with what is drawn on the screen. I was flying the ILS 13 approach at KLGA. The course heading is 134, and the airplane follows it perfectly well, but the runway is not visually in the correct spot. This issue began for me with P3d v4. Hi all: I need some help with click spots on my 737 (I haven't checks to see of this problem crops in the 777 or 747). I just installed the 737, 777, and 747 into P3D Ver. 4. I set up a camera view with Chaseplane on the Autopilot, but the click spots are not working. Sometime the little hand appears, but it just a quickly disappears and I can't turn on the the flight director, autothrottle, or even turn on any of the other functions on the autopilot. I've seen several references to a similar problem using Ezdok, but not with chaseplane. Anyone have any ideas? Hello captains! I just purchased P3D v4 and realized that most planes I always used in FSX is not compatible with P3D V4. I only have one simple question, if I purchased PMDG 737-900, does it comes with "simple" to fly just like in FSX? I am not a pilot nor a professional. In FSX, all I have to do is push a button to start the engine, then turn the lights on and closes the doors and off I fly. I hope PMDG have like that available? Much thanks pilots!

I just upgraded the NGX to v4 and......after flying the 747 for several months I've become used to all the extra effects and visuals. The NGX now seems boring to me. There is nothing like getting pounded by turbulence during a bad weather departure from Singapore in the QOTSII. Am I way off on this??? I guess it shows how far we have come in just a few short years.

I have set up my 737NG for P3DV4 without a problem, except one. I have worked through the FMC setup for the PMDG aircraft, paying close attention to the sound settings. I have set the sound to come through my headset. I also configured the aircraft through the FMC to read out all heights below 1000 ft until landing. I have set the volume to be above 60 (using the scale of 0- 100). All sounds, except the callouts seem to work correctly. Any suggestions on what I might need to do in order to hear the callouts during landing?
