PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I had to change my harddisk. So it was impossible to deactivate the PMDG software. Now I have installed a new harddisk and want to reinstall the PMDG basepack 737NG for P3D. I am no expert in computers so my question is if somebody can help me with this issue and which steps I have to make? Now I can't reactivate my PMDG software. I hope you can help me. Regards, Jan F. Hi, Sometimes after having completed a flight of 3hrs or so or after a turn, I hear a ding sound that keeps going off constantly. I can't work out what it is or how to stop it. I thought it was the fuel low aural sound but I had above the fuel low limit of 900kg. Has anyone else heard this or know what it is? Thanks. Lucas Gozzard.

Just a quick question re the above. Although I have the marker beacon switch on, I have never heard it make a sound, no matter which airport or approach I do. Have no problems with any other aural warnings and radios. Cheers.

Hello All, I was looking for "Dirty Wings" textures for PMDG 737 NGX (and also for the 777 & 747 v3). I found some posts using google (of-course :) ) but it seems that most of them are including dead links for the download. What are the most recommended "dirty wings" for use? Can someone please send me a proper link for download? And another question: Are this textures (after downloading & installing them) is for all liveries or each livery has its own "Dirty wings" textures which need to be installed? I was doing a flight vibn to vept a distance of 120 nm. Shortly after take off I noticed on the Captains Navigation Display 126 nm. I can understand why it was showing added miles since I had to bank 180. The problem is it stayed at 126nm all the way to touchdown. It was the same on the co-pilot screen. The ground was moving the entire time.

I just started flying with vatsim. I was flying the star to SFO in LNAV and VNAV when atc instructed me to descend to an altitude and turn to a different heading. I used level change to make the descent and used heading select to fly the new heading. I am now out of LNAV and VNAV. Atc continued to give me instructions to intercept the ILS approach. I engaged VORLOC and it activated. Upon this I engaged APP. The pfd showing the white g/s, however, the glidescope was never captured. Having never had this happen before I tried several flights trying to enter the ILS approach using heading select and level change. I was never able to get glidescope capture and a couple times…

After a fresh reinstall of FSX Acceleration, installed NGX. Later the same day, I've been having crashes during the FSX in-game loading process or the NGX initialization. Only happens with NGX, error reporting apphang1b. Please help with ideas! Thanks

Hi, since Navigraph cycle 1705, I found that there are a lot of DPs, STARs and approaches coded with INTC pseudo waypoints, which appears to give the NGX a hard time. Example: use ILS 25C into EDDF, e. g. via ROLSO. Check what gets generated on the ND in both NAV and PLAN mode. There is an INTC for the final approach course, and the ND renders a circular path for the intercept, the same for the missed approach from TAU VOR to MTR VOR. I have found almost all procedures with INTC coded into them result in these circular paths. Taking out the INTCs in the FMC straightens the lines again and I can fly without any trouble, but I am wondering why the N…

After installing the PMDG NGX to P3D V3 everything worked fine but I could activate the product, so I installed all of the simconect clients, after that it worked fine. I have read in order to make the NGX work properly on this V3 it has to be the the startup aircraft, here is where the problem is, when NGX is the startup aircraft the sim wont launch after the splash screen nothing happens. When I reset the cfg file it works again but NGX is not the default aircraft. How can i fix this?

Had my first major crash tonight, no survivors. Coming into KCRW, When I checked the weather prior to departure there was a gust factor in the AS16 report. Checking again on descent the gust factor was gone so I didn't factor it into the vref approach speed. After the crash I checked it again and the gust factor was back. I'm guessing it was maybe unfortunate timing, but the plane literally dropped from the sky about 400' shy of the threshold.. happened really fast. I'm wondering, why was there no wind shear warning? It literally just dropped, had time to throttle up but it was too late. Kinda scary considering how fast things happen.

Contrary to proper procedure, on my approach to KIAD 19C today, I clicked the APP button without putting the frequencies in the nav1 and nav2 radio and the localizer and glideslope came to life on the PFD. It showed the DME / Course and Freq for the 19C ILS. I had done this one time previously by mistake and the results were the same - a valid loc/gs Granted it was a single AP no auto-land setup, but I thought the FMC wasn't linked to any radios in the NGX. Frequncy for that runway is 111.70 and nav 1 was 110.6 and nav 2 was 113.8. Hi. The INIT page of the FMC (737 NGX) says that the nav data is out of date (24 Aug 2011). Does this get updated periodically and if so how do I obtain the update? Thanks Trevor Simpson

Good evening guys, As some of you know I fly for quite a large European 737 Operator. After much planning (and persuasion from my partner who makes load of makeup videos online and helped me set everything up!) After a new install of Windows 10, unable to reinstall B737NGX, message "your FSX.CFGfile was not found here,correct system location" It was not pssible to reinstall FSX, it just could not be installed, so I switched to FSX - Steam edtion, and received the above mentioned message. I've done everything. I've read everything. I saw a lot of videos in YouTube about the subject, but it's impossible to make the Sidewinder 2 joystick works with PMDG 737 and 777. I purchased the airplanes but I can not fly becouse it's just impossible to use autopilot. Just a shake and it turn off. A detail, no problem with iFly 737, 747 and others airplanes. Some one has passed for this? Any help is fine? It's boring and desappointing.

I usually use a CI of 10 or something similar and get a descent speed of 250 kts. Depending on the arrival airport and the STAR I then get the message e.g. 'unable 280kts at XXX'. I just put in 250 kts or whatever my descent speed is instead of what the STAR tells me to do. I'm wondering how this is done in RW?

I have made a clean install of Win10, P3D and all addons. I have PMDG 737 800 base packet and some liveries. When I fly with Norwegian livery, the autothrottle stops the speed in climb at 168 knots, and it does not increase in cruice mode either. On top of the speedtape the speed is set to 240 knots. If I chose another livery autothrottle behaves normal. I find this weird, the aircraft model is the same, and liveries are mostly texture plus some instrument differences. Have anyone experienced the same, or is it a reason for this autothrottle behavior. I have deleted and reinstalled the Norwegian livery two times with the same result. Tor Arild Danielsen

I forgot to check the packs and bleeds, and I now have a pressurization failure in the middle of my flight. I looked at the Failures menu in the FMC and tried everything I could with the Pressurization submenu. I doesn't appear to do anything. Is there a way to 'reset' the failure without exiting the flight? Thanks, Leif

I recently got a new computer and made the switch to P3D Academic. Installed PMDG 737NGX. When viewing the instrument panel, the gauges are black squares, and the other panels don't have active sites (the mouse caret doesn't change). OS--Win10 Pro x64. Antivirus software--Windows Defender. nVidia GTX1060 I installed both with Defender inactivated (I believe).

A few days ago i got this error with my aircraft, after starting my engines on the PMDG, N1 and N2 is functioning okay. but when i power up the engines the aircraft don't move. the aircraft will only move when i set the parking break, power up the engines then release the P/Break, that's when the aircraft starts moving. If i break the aircraft, i have to go through the same process, its really annoying. can anyone help me? thanks in advance.

I have just built an new system and gone about the painstakingly slow process of reinstalling P3D and the multitude of bits and pieces including the NGX and the T7 Base version. When I tried to install the after a short while the InstallShield Wizard displayed a message "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid Prepar3D(tm) installation location". I thought it a bit odd so I tried gain with the same outcome. I then loaded the T7 Base package and it ripped through the process installing as required. I loaded P3D and activated the T7. I rebooted the system and had another go with the NGX with the process failing at the same point. …

Hello, for some reason the 737 800/900 NGX WL Models (the ones with Winglet) are not appearing in the FSX Aircraft menu. I can download the WL liveries in PMDG Operations Center. After restarting FSX, only the three base models (without Winglets) are visible in Aircraft menu. Installed is the most up to date version, directly downloaded after my purchase two days ago. Windows 7 64 Bit Simulator Version: FSX:SE Installation Path: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX Started with administrator privileges (fsx and the PMDG Installer) AV Software (ms essential) deactivated.
