PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi Folks, just purchased (about 1h ago) the NGX B737 600-700 extension pack for P3D v4, (I can assure I've used my "search" button before wrtiting my message) But in spite of I've purchased and downloaded it by PMDG server (not aerosoft) I am unable to install it: when istalling I receive the same message "installation cannot continue. Your registry do not show a valid PreparD3 (tm) installation location" Naturally: I've a valid P3D v4 licence and location (in disk E:) Two days ago I've purchased and Installed The B737NGX base package (B737-800/900) w/o any problem; I've launched the 600-700 installer with "administration rights" I'…

After I create a livery in the manager in the new PMDG 737 for Prepar3d V4 then load that livery, it CTD's the whole sim every time. I can use the house planes with not trouble. Anyone know a fix for this?

As the title says, the installer (which I downloaded today, 7/13, and running as admin) goes as far as saying configuring your new software for installation. The bar does not move, and just sits there. The application at no time "stops responding" as windows would put it, but does not reply to the cancel button or X at the top right edge of the window. Can only be closed by task manager. I've attached the screen in question below: http://prntscr.com/fvearz Any help would be appreciated.

Good morning, gentlemen: I am happy to know that my beloved B737 is already available for P3D V4. I count the minutes to get home to install it. Now I have a doubt: As I can migrate from V3 to V4 all my flight plans loaded in the FMC ?, I have more than 150 very well tuned. Thanks for some help. If possible step by step. Regards Jorge Novelo

After Installing the new NGX 737 I started a new flight with NGX WL It all looked good, within a min while on the ground I got Low Oil Pressure warning. This was not cold start. This is the default start. Any idea why that is? what should I do to mitigate that?

Hello, I downloaded the update for the 737 from Aerosoft to install the product into P3Dv4. I uninstalled my previous installation. When I install the new download it only finds P3Dv3 and installs it there with no option to add it to P3Dv4. How can I install the product into P3Dv4? I have P3Dv3 on one drive and P3Dv4 on a separate drive. Thank you

Recently bought the 737 for P3D v4 and I'm really enjoying it, but running into one odd issue: when loading a saved flight, the rudder trim is pushed hard right. I do not have autorudder on and my controls are calibrated and working fine. It's seems to only happen when loading a saved flight. I saw a couple earlier threads about this, but haven't seen a solution, so I thought I would see if anyone has a way to prevent this happening. Thanks! -- Sean Crystal

Hi PMDG, I've had a look around the forum and found some rather old posts discussing the route wind uplink to the NGX from Active Sky, and it was said it would possibly make it into a future update. Is this still on the list of things we can expect in the future? I have grown quite spoiled with this functionality in the 777 and the QOTSII, and I think it would make the 737 complete. Thanks!

Hello, I bought this product yesterday for P3D v4...unfortunately it is crashing my sim every single time I go to load the plane........I have re-installed to no avail......I know this isn't much info to go on but would appreciate some help here...gutted...spent hours already trying to find and resolve the issue....all other things work....as soon as i try to load the plane i get the dreaded p3d.exe has stopped working message......

Flight plan YBRM-YBBN (QF1031). Flight plan legs entered okay as was performance specs, when I entered the SINNK9 STAR into YBBN the 'EXEC' button stuck on white and would not execute(see image showing stuck exec), shortly after prepar3dv4 locked up, not sure if it an NGX issue or P3dv4 steve

Hopefully someone has some advice for me, I recently upgraded my NGX to the latest version using Roberts' advice of a clean install. My issue is now when I close FSX I get an APPCRASH message with the fault module name PMDG_737NGX_2.dll. This did not happen prior to upgrade. Any ideas? Thanks Andrew Dixon

Hi everyone, Just downloaded the PMDG 737 NGX base package from Aerosoft and when I try to install I get a message that the installer doesn't show a valid prepar3D installation location. As far as I can tell, the installer was updated 7/11/17 and the readme states the following, 10JUL17: 1.20.8389 - updated compatibility for P3D v3/v4. Any ideas? My registry appears to have the correct location. I also noticed the registry shows Prepar3D V2 and V3 which I've never installed on my machine. Should I remove those registry entries? It is over 1gb in size. 80+ repaints. Is there a good free share site I can let others download from? I have tried emailing the author and he has not returned my emails. I hope this is okay. I am sure many in the community can enjoy these amazing repaints. - David Lee

Hi, just installed on P3Dv4 and I'm facing an issue using the 2D panels on multi screens. Normally I move the overhead panel on a second screen and this did not cuase any issue on FSX and other P3D versions. Now when I move the panel and I have to click a knob on the main screen the FPS dramatically drop down (i.e. from 35-40 to 8-15) and stay stable at the lover frames. To come back to higher FPS I have to click on a knob on the panel in the second screen. If after I still click on the main panel the frames drops down again and this behavior in a constant and the frame dropping stay down even if I close the panel on the second screen. Are ot…

Hi, sorry but I could not find any answer to my problem: I've just installed/uninstalled twice the product, after downloading two different installers of the 737 for P3dv4 in the VC: - I read a plate on the first display "HUD DEACTIVATED" - the little levers on the overhead panel are depicted incomplete - no levers are depicted on the throttle section (speedbrakes, throttle, flaps, engine fuel) - a lot of knobs/buttons on the MCP are missing outside view: - I see only internal parts (cockpit, engine fans), no hull no wings no gear the p3dv3 version is working correctly I had a similar problem with Carenado's 177 and 210 v4 installers, …

In Pr3Dv4 I parked my - just released yesterday -brand new 737-800w (SAS) at LOWI and opened the door, and extended the airstairs (so long so good). However pressing the LSK button next to "CLOSE AIRSTAIRS" nothing happens. If I press CLOSE DOOR (L-FWD) both the door is closed and the airstairs are retracted. If I DON'T open the door and then extend the airstairs, I am able to retract the airstairs using the "CLOSE AIRSTAIRS" LSK. So its only when the door is open that the "CLOSE AIRSTAIRS" LSK have no function. I'm guessing this is a (VERY SMALL) bug, or is it by design ?

I just purchased the NGX for P3D V4 from the PMDG website and once it downloaded, I opened the folder and proceeded to install. Upon clicking the folder to install the NGX I get an error, the error is shown in the attachments below. I've installed the B738 for P3D4 Restarted PC Installed my fav liveries They don't show in P3D4 - only house-liveries aircraft.cfg file shows they are all there Obs-centre shows they are installed But no joy ... Any idea what, why, when, how to fix? Regards

Seeing what I am seeing?? Once airborne, the nose gear animation "pops" up or down. Main gear appear to be OK. Not a big one, but its all about the PMDG reality and detail we all love. Thanks!!!!

As the title says, I've been experiencing this since I installed the NGX in V4. Every 53 seconds the whole sim would stop in one frame while the sound still goes on like normal. Hasn't happened befor with the other PMDG birds, although I haven't tested them since the whole uninstall/installation of yesterday's overall update. Has anybody experienced the same thing? I haven't changed a thing in the sim, except the stated above.

hi all, i have P3D v4 and 737 NGX installed and have found that when i try to run NGX with vsync ON (the low refresh rate & unlimited fps trick for smoothness/tearing) i only get 5 frames per second. turn vsync OFF and i get 40-50 fps but lose the smoothness. all other aircraft work fine with vsync on. i use nvidia 3 monitor surround for outside view plus panels on a 4th. any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated. pete.
