PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I know the way that LM are managing dynamic lighting has changed with P3Dv4 but I find the effect on the matt livery of the P8-A Poseidon variant of PMDG737NGX a major disappointment. It would appear that the livery has not been reprocessed for the new simulator. With P3Dv3.4 the matt finish looks good with no highlights as befits a military aircraft camouflage. With PDv4 the finish is highly reflective and unrepresentative. The Air-to-air refuelling cockpit roof and chin are matt with no reflection. Andrew Gransden

Hi Just installed the NG into a clean P3Dv4 installation and all of my default cockpit viewpoints are either in the furniture or outside. I can move these around to eventually get them roughly correct but these changes do not persist beyond one session. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but that doesn't help. Any thoughts? I've probably missed a step as I've not flown the NGX for a while but I didn't see any brake temperature readings after landing. They remained at zero.

I purchased Prepar3D and it installed itself into my C Drive in the Programs folder. I then purchased the B737NGX for Prepar3D but kept getting the 'can't find Prepar3D' error message. Should I un-install Prepar3D and re-install it on it's own drive as recommended for FSX? Neil Bradley

Hi All, I currently work at an airport nearby. And so i see a lot of 737s fly by. One thing that catches my eyes is that the Tail Nav Light is blinking not as fast as the PMDG 737 does. The issue I've found was tested on both the newest 738NGX version (JUL12-2017) and the previous. My flight was from TJSJ to KTPA (SJuan/PR to Tampa-FL) and the flight plan offered by FlightAware was: ACONY2 SAPPO R507 GTK A555 ZBV DCT PHK This flight plan was loaded on FMC and all legs appeared along the route pages without any intervals. The other FMC pages were filled with the necessary data and, at last, I started filling the winds along the many legs. PFPX plan gave me the following information for FL400: NOPIT=112/011; LENUS=109/013; GTK=117/013; RATTL=112/015; INDEE=243/002; DUKKY=267/004; DONEZ=096/014; ZQA=104/016; ZBV=072/009. Will the PMDG 737NGX Base Package for Prepar3D work with 2.5 ?

I am trying to install using the new v4 installer from Aerosoft. I know that it is the correct installer (or at least assume so) because of the readme file that addresses v4 and the file date. I am getting the error that installation cannot continue because "your registry does not show a valid P3D installation location." I verified that the registry is pointing to the correct location for P3D v4. There are no other P3D installs. I verified that NGX was uninstalled (it had been for many months and no longer shows in the add/remove programs or the registry). I rebooted the computer. Am I missing some other step? Mark Neath

Hi Guys I found a bug i quess with my nose gear. When i select up position the nose gear dissapears.

I see that the 737 is out for p3d v4. in the operations center it says i have the ngx installed in p3d v3 and to use my installer to install into p3d v4 but when i run the installer it only gives me the option to modify, repair or unistall and nothing about installing into v4. I've tried all three options and i cant install it into p3d v4. am i missing something?

Good morning, I have found an issue where if I download paints via and try to install hem they wont install. Ive troubleshooted it many ways, and still havent found a solution. Is anyone else having this problem or just me?

Hello, I'm sure the question has been asked a number of time when P3Dv1 comes out but at the time I was not interested by it and browsing the last page of the forum I didn't find anything. So, anyway, I own a license of the 737 for FSX, I have recently bought P3Dv4 and I was wondering if PMDG offer any kind of rebate for customer owning an FSX version of the 737 and willing to purchase a P3D version of the same plane ? I noticed the update in operations center to buy NGX V4 so I paid the $90.00 for V4 but it downloaded V3, I hope that V4 is going to be free update.

Hello, When I Land in the PMDG 737NGX I activate the reversers (which take ages to come out) and then at 70 kts i turn off the reversers and use the toe brakes but they dont work and i over run the runway! Can Anyone Please Help Me? Kind Regards David

So I'm not going to be one of those guys that I know the moderators love by asking "when the hell does the 737 come out?!?" Getting to Antarctica took 23 hops, here was my journey taking a brand new Caribbean Airlines 737 from Paine Field (KPAE) all the way to ISLA REY JORGE (TENIENTE RODOLFO MARSH MARTIN) (ANTARCTICA) (SCRM), a dirt strip about 4,500 ft. long in which I was barely able to get stopped in time. In total it took 23 landings and 23 takeoffs, not all of which were necessary but hey; I like taking off and landing a lot to keep it interesting. Most of the Southern South America Airports don't have ATIS by the way, and a couple had no night landing lights either. One thing for sure, frame rates at these remote/sparse airports are fantastic. Hello, I just downloaded the latest version of the 737 for FSX and Steam. Installation went smooth without problem but I do not have the impression that the version in FSX has changed. The FMC always says 1.0SP1c, should not it be in SP1d? Should I de-install the old version before installing the new one? Thanks for your comments Jean Pierre Bordas

I noticed a new thread regarding the "competition" and this ius an aircraft that I do actually own. However, When I finally am able top install P3Dv4 I really really want to buy the PMDG 737 and the 777 having avidly followed PMDG over the years. My question, however concerns the VC. With the "opposition" aircraft it is possible to "pop-up" the various instrument panels, ie aft/forward overhead panel, the fmc/throttle panel,and the aft electrical pedestal panel. Each of these panels are able to be moved to another monitor. As I am utilizing 6 monitors, I would very much like to know if this is possible with these two PMDG aircraft in P3Dv4. Thanks i…

i have noticed that whenever i fly somewhere with the pmdg 737-800 when i get to the destination the sounds of the callouts and switches and alarms are missing and i dont know what to do because i dont know what audio card drivers to install because i dont have a audio card only headset (Turtle Beach Z60) and there are no drivers for that so healp would be wery much appreciated Thanks! :)
