Hi, I have a home cockpit setup using the NGX with P3D where I have undocked all MIP screens to other screens. Then I have saved this with Save Scenario as "HOME COCKPIT" in P3D. When I want to fly a NGX in my home cockpit I just load P3D, then Load "HOME COCKPIT" from the Scenario Setup screen. All screens turn up correctly in my home cockpit MIP. Now come my question: How do I modify the default NGX MIP screen so that I have the same screen setup as described above whenever I select a NGX with Select vehicle from the scenario screen. If this was possible I could select any NGX from any airports with my "HOME COCKPIT" screen setup…

Hello I have recently installed the B737NGX in FSX-SE. I followed the readme instructions and installed the FSX-SE simconnect(s). My problem is that after I enter about 2/3 of the FMC data as per the tutorial flight #1 (EGKK-EHAM), having the captain side FMC popped-out in the 3D cabin, I loose the ability to move the view around the 3D cockpit. I mean pressing the space-bar and moving the mouse stops working. Any ideas? Alvaro Escorcia. So, I'm having another problem with the NGX, but this time I was sure to read through the intro manual thoroughly to see if I'm doing something wrong. However, the issue I am having was not outlined in the manual (or I just can't find it). Anyway, when I try to resume a saved flight via the FSX 'Load' menu, my NGX does not return to the configuration it was in when the flight was saved (via the ';' key only, not FSUIPC). I saved the flight while doing Tutorial #2 a couple miles out from my TOD. After restarting FSX and loading the flight, the aircraft enters a nose dive until the 15 seconds of System Configuration pass, after which it seems to be in the 'default' configur…

Just received my Silver v3 throttle from Cockpit for You. I'm having some problems with the Stab trim not syncing correctly. (The stab trim and trim wheels will be moving on screen when the actual throttle has not been touched). I was referred to contact PDMG for help by CFY which inturns refered me to here. I'm hoping maybe someone can give me advice on how to solve this issue. Had already tried uninstalling & reinstalling the software including all the updates. Thanks!

Hi, I want to connect the CPflight EL panel to the software of PMDG NGX (Downloaded version). Yesterday i have downloaded and installed the software and updated it with the PMDG Operations Center. I've read the documentation: https://www.cpflight.com/docs/prodotti/4/PMDG users.pdf and have already put the two lines ''[SDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1'' into the the ''737NGX_Options.ini'' file. Done that i only heave to download the SP1D service update. I already tried the SP1C update but it was not work because it needs the latest update SP1D. But when i try to download it via the PMDG ''service update'' tab it will lead me to the download page of the 737NGX. What can i do…

Does anybody know the reasoning behind having the mcp vertical speed thumbwheel rotate in the opposite direction? Up is pointing down and down is pointing up. I don't think they would have designed it that way unless there was specific reasoning associated with aircraft operation or some human factors issue. Kevin Wilson

Hello! I have the NGX setup via FSUIPC, and was wondering if anyone have an input on realistic slope settings? I've flown her missus in a fullflight simulator, and she feels much heavier (but also easier to control) there than on my home setup. I have played around a bit with the settings, but wanted to see what others are used to aswell. I know there's a limit to what you can achieve when it comes to immersion at home aswell... :) And I use P3D if that matters! Regards, Samueljord

I occasionally have trouble editing the FMC to change the STAR that is currently programmed into the FMC. This happens when in preflight you choose a STAR that is restricted to one or more runways. I look at the weather at the destination and make my best guess which runways will be in use and select the STAR accordingly. Upon entering the STAR during the flight ATIS advises landing on different runways. I tried deleting the remaining waypoints so that I could add back the correct STAR but the FMC would give me the "invalid delete" and prevent this. I needed to manually add the STAR segments and lift the first waypoint over the top of the section to be replaced. Is very c…

hello , I currently use p3d ASCA AS16 and EZDOK 2 , I have a huge problem , the pmdg 737ngx wont hold the magenta line even with no wind during cruise. I didn't had this issue in Fsx. Does somebody has an idea what it could be? THe autopilot wont hold the line and even gets me to bank angle! Lucas

Apologies in advance if this has been covered before... I am trying to enter a Place/Bearing/Distance fix from a runway as a waypoint in the FMC. I created a Place/Bearing/Distance entry on the FIX page which is on the 225 radial from runway 04L at a distance of 10 miles. The bearing line and distance ring both show on the map display. I understood from another post here that the data from the FIX page cannot be line selected directly into the scratchpad, so I keyed RW04L225/10 into the scratchpad manually. hey guys so i have run into this problem, whenever i enter new value for fuel it does not change on display and stays full tanks all the time (in fmc inn changes) on other hand for payload when i enter new ZFW it does not react at all not in fmc nor in actual plane. Problem appeared after I installed FS2CREW, since then i tried fresh install of PMDG and completely removed FS2CREW. thanks in advance

Hi all, I have made a deep investigation on the web butcome up with no trace about a situation similar to mine. Briefly; I've decided to shift to P3Dv3 from FSX after having spent so much time on whether this is the right decision or not. However, during my very initial set up process after a clean install (full formatting) I encountered an issue. I bought PMDG 737 NGX from precisionmanuals (on top of my current fsx one) and installed it into P3Dv3. First , in the VC nothing was working, only darkness and engine sounds. Hi, Recently when I was departing ESSA an early morning I noticed I had a zone temp in CONT CAB after pushback, which i was able to resolve. Now, my question is, I had been sitting around on the ground for about 30 mins (ish), with the packs off, but it was 0 degress celcius outside, so how was that able to trigger the zone temp after I pushed back? I mean I had the packs running for about 2 min from when i started the APU until I turned them off again for Engine start, and I had already turned the CONT CAB to a little colder temperature because that's what i normally do. Also I assume this has something to do with the fact that I sat on the ground for almost 30 min …

Not sure exactly what happened as this is the first time ever since owning the NGX, have I had this happen. I had to save a flight midflight and restart. when I reloaded it, the aircraft state defaults back to the initial state when loading the aircraft for the first time. It now does this every time I try and save. I always run as admin so I know that's not the issue. Hoping somebody has an answer for this. Platform is FSX acceleration.

Hello everybody, I have just installed FSX and then PMDG 737_8_900 on a 64 bit windows 7 based computer by following the suggestions given in Introduction document. However, no activation page show up after first run of FSX and an attempt to commence PMDG Operation Center results in an error related to (0xc000007b). Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help out with activation of my pmdg 737ngx activation. I have had an issue with it for a couple days. Pmdg sent a stand alone activation software installed in my root and ran my key with nothing I bought the 737 in 2015 and since updating recently it's been the "no fan blade" graphic on all models and all the gauges are black and vc is unusable ... thanks

Hello, I have had a number of PC crashes and due to that had to replace my unit. I have reinstalled P3D and am attempting to reinstall the PMDG737, but when I enter the license code I am receiving an error. I have contacted the PMDG support, but it is going on 2 days and I have herd nothing from them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Stuart

Greetings, There is an old joke in heavy - How does an aviation boatswain mate know he's on fire? He doesn't need a light for his cigarette and his coffee stays warm. With that in mind, my question is How does the PMDG 737 know it has an engine fire. I can't seem to get the aircraft to "know" it is on fire and since it doesn't have a cigarette or cup of coffee…;) I'm pretty sure it is operator, but cannot imagine what is going on. After I get the jet fully running and flying, I go to the FSX "Failures" menu and Arm an engine fire for 1 to 5 minutes. I wait. Eventually from the outside view I can see smoke. Hi Kyle, Is it only the Captain systems that are fully implemeted in the NGX or is the FO systems also implemented in the code logic ? Or are both implemented as in the real airplane ?

I think it would be great if we could have a "pro" version of the NGX... The question is: are there plans to build one in the future? Thanks
