PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi there guys. Discovered a bit of an issue with latest NGX version. I managed to replicate this issue twice. When you double click on the FMC 2D panel it causes the sim (P3DV4) to freeze up and hang, resulting in a crash. As far as my research shows I have found no other post about this. No error message or log is created either. My Specs: i7 6770K, GTX 970, P3DV4, PMDG NGX 737, ASP4, Aivlasoft EFB, REX Soft Clouds, Orbx Global, Fly Tampa Schipol. Cheers, Voumani Madonko

While cycling through my camera settings in Chase Plane, it is interrupted by those camera views set in the 737 NGX panel. Can I "comment them out" in the .cfg file, if so, which ones do I do this to?

Hey everyone, I seem to be getting the outer marker/middle marker audio in the few times I've flown my 800 since the last big updates. The MKR button on the pedestal is off, I can't understand why this would be occurring. Any ideas? Thanks as always, Lukas

I have been having issues with all textures on the 737-600/700 ever since I upgraded to the new update. If I uninstall the new update and install the previous version this goes away but as soon as I delete the old one and install the new one it creates a line on the back of the aircraft running under the passenger windows and through the left aft exit. Hello, I am trying to install the 737NGX on the computer that will be handling the cockpit in my simulator, but every time I run the installer it gives me an error, telling me that my simulator is out of date. I am running P3D v3.4 I do not have migration tool installed, and I have downloaded the latest PMDG installer from my receipt.

Windows 10 64, When I open PMDG Operations Center, Aircraft Specific Settings do not appear under the NGX. However, they do as well as sound options for the 777. Is this intended with the most recent updates?

Hello, my PMDG 737-800/900NGX plane is having two problems recently on FSX. One, when I load up the 737 a second time in a row, the wheels sink into the ground causing a crash. I have tried this at every airport including default with each series of aircraft and different liveries. I currently do not havve any addons that would interfere with my mouse or views. I am re-learning the 737 after flying the A320 for a few years. I have a question on takeoff. When do you or don't you use TOGA on takeoff? I ask because every time I press TOGA after the engine stabilizes it un arms LNAV and VNAV and won't let me select it for a while. Therefore it makes it difficult to follow the FD correctly. I'm sure I am doing something incorrectly so I wanted to see what the consensus is. Thanks!

I recently re-installed and updated the NGX base + 6/700-pack on my FSX. Since the update, my MCP from Opencockpits will not connect. Anyone else had these problems? I use the OC4BA software with my MCP, but still waiting from support from their forums. All the best,

Hi Folks! Yesterday I tried to exit a PMDG 738NGX with an Avatar (Aerosoft's/Bahrometrix freeware) "Male Pilot 2". It works as ususally with CRTL + SHIFT+ E. But immediately I had left the plane it "jumps" uncontrolable all over the airport. Never seen this before. Re-starting the situation doesn't solve the problem. Even not ot choose another pilot or a different (and/or different painted) 738. I had to restart the sim to "calm" it down. With this situation I used DD's NY Airports KLGA with New York Citiy X and the available FTX stuff - all for P3D v4. The 960 graphics device shows a consume of ~ 3,3 GByte VRAM (0,6 GByte left) under Windows 7 64 Bit. Can …

Hi, After i updated the 737ngx via the PMDG Operations Center i cannot use the buttons in the cockpit anymore. I had Simconnect installed, i did a test, it did not work. I deleted Simconnect and installed it again but after the test i did not work. What can i do so that i can use the buttons of the cockpit again? Best Regards, Marcel

Hello All Has someone encountered the problem under P3D v4 that the base 737NGX installs and works fine, but the expansion gives me always the following message: "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid Prepar3D(tm) installation location." This is so far interesting as all other PMDG products including the based pack 737 works just fine. Can someone help, please? Hi, Just downloaded the updated installer for the 737-8900 base package from aerosoft (and deleted the old one). However when trying to install i get the error message saying: "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid Prepar3D(tm) installation location. The old installer (version 1.20.8396) works perfectly. Any ideas how to fix this?

With apologies to Willie, those hanging around these parts will remember the excitement surrounding the NGX release, yesterday in 2011. Truth be told, AvSim has never been the same. She still looks GREAT in Prepar3D v4 (thanks Thore for a superb BBJ2 paint) doesn't she? Thanks to Dan Downs inspiration, I am starting an around the world trip in the 738... to brush up on my 737 handling skills... and so it begins....

Hello PMDG .... I am unable to undock the Primary flight display (the left most one) in my latest install of 737.NGX.

I'm trying to re-install the NGX 800-900 package, and upon running the installer I'm getting the following error Feature: FSX Version - Original Microsoft Distribution Component: DEM File: <FOLDER_SIM2>\ Error: The filename, directoru name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. Why is that so? Is there any way to fix that?

Hi all, I assigned the TO/GA Switch to "T" (my button programmed for the saitek) and I recognized that the assignent is not controlling TO/GA, it is controlling FD left ON/OFF. I changed the assigment to another key to check if there is something else set, but with every key I set, its controlling FD left on/off. I assigne the same key to FD left on/off and I thought probably its changed in mistake, but FD left on/off is also controlling FD left on/off. Can you please double check if someone else got this bug too.

Hi guys, I started a thread over at P3D about this but they are reporting it to be addon error and they dont believe its on their end as they can not replicate the error. What has been happening is on decent heading towards YSSY using FlyTampa the sim just crashes and stops working. For example i was at about 6,000ft flying into Sydney using active sky, orbx AU/ Global and all of a sudden the sim stops working and have to force close the sim. This has now happened a few times and once more again performing a rapid decent and I am lost to know why it has been happening. I don't believe it is fly Tampa or anything else because i have no issues in the 777 …

I just made my first flight with the PMDG 737NGX in P3Dv4 which was just great and impressive :-). I have only a question, maybe a silly one but I'm still beginning with P3D. I miss in the PMDG 737's and in P3Dv4 in general in all default planes the checklists in the kneeboard for the corresponding planes. Honestly, I expected with the purchase of PMDG 737NGX electronic checklists but it seems that these are not part of the package. How can I install checklists/electronic checklists for this product? Would be nice to get any tips for convenient solutions therefore and I'm looking forward hearing from you. Thank you very much and kind regards

Although I specified (and saved) in my user-created panel state options (Equipment/Default Trans Alt) that I would like to have this defaulted to 5000 ft, still the 800/900 neglect this and assumes that the default transition altidute is 18000ft. This undocumented feature only occurs in the P3D version 4 of the 800/900, in P3D version 3 this worked correctly. What could have gone wrong and how can I correct this? Thanks, Hans van Wijhe

Hi I am having trouble with the aircraft weight. Earlier is was in the vicinity 50.0-60.0. It looks like it has doubled the weight for some reason. My startup state is cold and dark and wait for the initialization to complete. Then I turn on the battery power, then goto the fmc and connect the ground power unit, going back to the overhead and connecting the ground power, the I go to the fuel page on the FO FMC and the I get the following, The aircraft: B737-800 Scandinavian Airlines winglet livery, Version 1.20.8413. I have seen it with other liveries too. P3D v4, with hotfix 1 Windows 10 Best regards, Thoms

Hi with the new version how do i make the captain pfd large like the first officer pfd. The captian pfd wont do anything when i click on it. The first officers works fine.

Is there any way to increase the sensitivity of the trim in the PMDG 737? Mine seems to be slow comparing it to real life cockpit videos, its set on the joystick and the buttons have the repeat on max too. Necmi Osman
