PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi. When autobrake on landing is activated, and when the wheels touch the ground it says 'brakes' down in the left corner of my P3D. It says the same if i use my pedals to brake. This is how it supposed to be right? You get the same brakes from the autobrakes as you do from the pedals? And when i tap the brakes when autobraking the message goes away. I just cant seem to notice that i have got the braking message before, or maybe i just havent noticed it. Would be great if someone confirms this so i know i havent configured my pedals wrong.

Are there any windshield effects out there for PMDG on P3D V4? Like water drops and realistic rain hitting the windshield? No point using the wipers actually.

Hi, all - I am having an issue when trying to load saved flights in the 737 NGX. I am using FSX:SE and have been flying the 737-800 WL Delta livery. First off, the plane loads up and flies perfectly. I have had zero issues when starting a new flight on the ground or during a flight. I have been trying to save and reload flights in order to free up some VAS. My current process has been to start a flight with a cold and dark cockpit, get the plane running and in flight, and get to TOC. Once stabilized in cruise I would save the game (have tried both through the FSX file menu as well as using FSUIPC autosave). Then I quit FSX completely and restart. When FSX loads …

So, every time I exit a flight at the end of a flight using the PMDG 373NGX, FSX crashes on me. I think I saw somewhere that this is usual, but if you know of a fix, please let me know? Anyway, my question is, does this crash at the end of the flight stop service based failures from functioning properly? How exactly do service based failures work? I made a flight yesterday, and at the end checked the maintenance, it showed 242 hours until next service. When I checked it again after another flight today and it still said 242 hours. Have I got the wrong idea of something somewhere?

Hi. Today I reinstalled my whole FSX. I had this problem sometimes before but now its like 8 out of 10 times the 737 doesent load properly. Either the displays are dark or i cant use any button or I can hear the engines but they are not spinning and I cant move at all. It really happens 90% of the time. Reloading the aircraft at the gate doesent help, ending the flight and starting it again helps sometimes but most times I have to restart the whole simulator. It seems like the only way its working is if I have the 737 as standard flight. Can somebody help me? Is there any fix?

Quick question. In the sim, when would I shy away from using the navigation in the fmc and fly by tuning in the nav radios and flying a specific track? Coming from the Airbus where everything auto tuned, I never much worried outside of a spot check here and there what my radios are tuned to. It is my understanding that the 737 doesn't auto tune yet I have never had issues following the flight plan from point a to b when simply flying the route I entered into the fmc and using lnav and vnav. So when / why should I be tuning these in? Is it just for redundancy if something fails? Please enlighten me because I'm not sure! Thanks

So I have 2 questions on the 737NGX: 1. Would PMDG ever make an updated 737-800 model with the new split winglets that are in use with airlines today? 2. Anyone want to make the 600 series bear the Southwest Canyon blue colors and or more 737-700's in the new heart colors?

After purchasing the latest 737 600/700 expansion for P3D, I uninstalled then installed the latest installer. No activation was asked for and the Ops Centre only showed the 700NGX was installed although examination of the P3D folder shows all 600/700 models installed. Any thoughts as to why this might be?

I have searched everywhere to see if there is a solution to this problem to no avail. Yes I do have Active Sky Next installed and do have it working in FSX. Appreciate some help. Scot

I know this has been discussed in the past but was wondering if anyone has a fix. For some reason the PMDG 737 is the only plane were I have a strange mouse flicker on the FMC's only. I get like a ghost flicker to the right of the mouse pointer when trying to enter info into the FMC both VC and pop-out. I just built a new Win 10 7700K @ 5.0Ghz system to run P3Dv4. I've tried different video drivers with same results. The sim is clean install, no strange app running in background. I did not have this issues on my Win 7 P3Dv3.4 system. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As it stands now it's manageable but a pain when flying in busy online airspace.

Just for clarification, what panel setting in the FMC would I pick if I wanted the plane powered up as if it is the second, third, etc. flight of the day and the pilots enter the cockpit? I am not at home and had to power down and move my PC due to some housework so I don't have access to the manual. Thanks!

Hello all, In the FCOM vol1 16.5SP it mentionned the way we engage wing and engine anti ice. For wing anti ice they mentionned that it can be activate between the engine start and TO. So I Wonder two question; Can we keep the wing anti ice while takeoff and if no at wich moment we can engage it? And in second at wich moment of the flight we should desactivate engine and wing anti ice if we take off with engine and wing antiice? Cuz when passing over the clouds I presume there are no more moisture, snow,freeze;......... I know that's required a little moment for answer so thank's in advance for eventual reply ;) Regards

Hello, I have Prepar3D v4 installed. And ofcourse PMDG 737 NGX base 800900. When starting to fly the 737 I have to fill my activationcode. So I did and the message come that registration is OK. In the FMC is the message that the 737 is NOT registred!! When I activate AV and Firewall are OFF What's wrong? John

hello When I land with the 737 ngx I notice that the spoiler don't déployed. They deployed when I use the reverse only They are arm with green light, no failure. I use A throttle quadrant I don't know what is the probleme ? maybe I am not really at idle when I land but I am sur of yes Any idea ?

Greetings, I have looked at the Manuals and I am sure I missed it, but how does one reset the FMC to accept a new flight. Aside from totally resetting the aircraft I cannot seem to let the FMC reset/ reload itself for a new flight. I put in a new destination but the flight legs, departure and arrival from the old flight are still there. Is there an on off switch I am missing. ?? Thank You, Wayne L Pierce

Hi Having issues with controller disconnecting. Have FSX Steam edition with the PMDG 737 NGX. I load the aircraft, always set to Cold and Dark - however the moment I click away from FSX to my ACARS or weather when I get back to FSX the controller is no longer registered in FSX. I have searched all over for the answers to this with not much help. Yes I have unchecked all the power management features etc on the USB hubs. Hi Guys I Use FSX and search for a way to readout the PMDG ADF1 STBY Frequency..... It look like this is a internal Variable cause the data of FSUIPC Standard Offset for this is different to the used frequency... Is this Value supportet as a FSUIPC Offset Output OR is there a way to readout this value otherway (Maby with SIOC?) ? Basicly i think about a alternate with using FSX internal system and ignoring the PMDG Display and EventInputs.... BUT It seems that FSX not allow me to manipulate the STBY Value.... When trying to use Control Wheel Steering (CWS) during an approach, it disengages after a few seconds Halwatk.

The ILS frequency displayed in the CDU is not correct. To give an example: EBBR to EIDW landing on rwy 28, the CDU shows 111.35, heading 279. The heading is correct, but ILS should be 108.90. The flight goes correct, but of course fails to autoland due to the wrong freq. For planning I use FSC and PFPX and both have the correct ILS. All are updated with the latest 1705 airac data.

So reading the manual it mentions service based failures being used based upon statistical data. What I'm wondering is does it have any relation to the "maintenance" section of the systems of the aircraft in the FMC? For instance, the various systems have various amounts of time they need maintenance performed in. As you go further in time from the last maintenance point does that affect the service based failure? Hope that makes sense, not sure if I'm asking that correctly. I guess for example, If I was down to the last 10 hours prior to engine maintenance, is it more likely to have engine failure?

Hello to everybody, I did a fresh installation of prepar3d v3.4 (last version) and 737 ngx (last version) all works properly except all lights that not show on the ground, from virtual cockpit . I'm struggling to fix the problem but I did't find the solution. ADDON USED PLUS NGX ARE: ftx global, as16, fsuipc ,PTA 2.11. I already tryed to restore original setting from PTA but the problem still exist. Any suggestion ?? I ask your help, thank you in advance Riccardo
