I noticed at the arrival gate on two of my recent flights that the window heat lights kept flashing, one at a time. After turning off W/H and back on all was normal. What is causing this? I've never seen this before in years of NGX flying. Flights were into KPHX and KLAS and it was very hot. Maybe the heat has something to do with this?

I'm really sorry if this has been covered and if it has, can you point me in the right direction of where it is. If not, has it been established what the differences are updating to the latest service pack for the NGX? I realise I'm a little slow to the party... Can anyone highlight them for me? Dan

hi when i run the 2d cockpit or 3d, i need to press CTRL plus SPACEBAR if not, i see only the bottom of the runaway and not further, any idea? thanks serge PIC

I want to assign buttons for spoilers on / off in P3Dv4 however this does not work. Keys don't work either. Spoilers toggle works ok. Not sure this is a PMDG 737 or a P3D problem

I installed the latest (Nov 13, 2014) Navigraph AIRAC data for my 737NGX. If I load Tutorial #2 Before Visual Approach and try to set the Runway to 08 under DEP ARR on the FMC, it selects Runway 26 even if I select 08. This also prevents me from putting Runway 08 on my LEGS page and replacing the other waypoints. I can still land, of course, following the rest of the directions. Is this a bug or an issue with the Navigraph data? These images illustrate the issue. Notice the Runways are listed on page 2 of LOWI Arrivals. Hi, I’m flying the ngx in v4. The aircraft is awesome, despite having always been an Airbus guy I’m really enjoying it. My rig is med-high, with a low CPU, but a gtx 1080, wich makes P3d v4 go really smooth. (P3d v3 was totally a diferent story). Most of the sliders inside P3d are med-left. No problems at all with performance and ngx. But I came across a strange thing wich only happens at dawn and dusk. When in the VC at one of this periods of time the lights flicker for about 1 second (hard stutter). This happens every time P3d loads the next dawn or dusk textures. (I believe there are nine files for each). I tried with DAWN_DUSK SMOOTHING=0 with no luck. I can…

Just upgraded to P3D v4 and reinstalled the NGX. But now there is no operations center. I checked the folder it should be in and the updater is there but not the actual program, weird. I did make sure my Norton was completely disabled before installing. The main reason I reinstalled was because the operations center wasnt working. So I got the new installer and tried again, but now I dont even have the operations center at all. Sort of wishing I had stayed with v3 for now.

Hi, yesterday, I purchased P3D v4 along with NGX. (They are quite pricey ) I can see from FMC it says version 1.1, does this means, it's SP1d ?

Greetings. Trying to figure out why several cockpit sounds are not working on P3D v4 but works on FSX-SE. Sound Device is selected in SOUNDS menu. Tried to connect to different USB port in PC still no luck. In CDU in PLAY IN EXIT VIEW set to YES, still no sound on Exit view. Set back and forth to YES and NO still no luck. Altitude Callouts - none of them the working (Minimums, Approaching minimums, 2500 etc). The only altitude calls working are from 1000 ft down to 10 ft. On touchdown no wheels sounds. The Tutorial #2 manual says PMDG included a number of saved flights. They are not listed in the P3d v.4 Load Scenario List. How can I get them there?

What are the steps using FSX Free Flight to achieve a Cold & Dark PMDG 737NGX where to controls actually work. My goal is to practice start up. I have no problem getting a running A/C.

How do I get the latest update for the PMDG B737NGX for the boxed version? Every time I try it tells me I need to use the full installer. Since I purchased it at Amazon in the boxed version and not downloaded from the PMDG web site. Any help would be appreciated.

AS I intend to reinstall PMDG-737 I was asked to return the present license key by going to MENU --> PMDG SET up --> LICENSE Unfortunately there is no license option as before and I wonder why ? Your help is appreciated Hubert Werni

Hi Guys, As I intend to upgrade to P3Dv4 soon, and the 737NGX, will it have an SDK for Events as my FSX version has?. Will they be the same event numbers. Sorry about this posting. I had trouble getting VC knobs working in P3Dv4 with PMDG 737 NGX. The solution is the same as it was before. (I checked my old messages....) It has something to do with the FSUIPC.ini file. I am using the latest release of FSUIPC for P3D v4. Does anyone know why this is a problem? The only aircraft I had set up with the FSUIPC was the Beech Bonanza A-36. Once I deleted the FSUIPC.ini and restarted the P3Dv4 with the PMDG 737 NGX as the first aircraft loaded (Bonanza A-36 is default scenario,) the knobs became operational again.

Is there a default short turn round that I can load? the FMC gives- cold and dark and long - is there a medium or long default available? David

I've searched the documentation, but haven't been able to find an answer to this question. In general, when are the flaps lowered to various levels, and when are the gear lowered? How is it done in the real aircraft? I've tried methods based on altitude, or distance from the runway, or speed, but I'm not convinced I'm doing it right. My impression from the tutorial is that 1 degree is lowered when the aircraft decelerates to around 200 knots, and then successively lowered each time the target speed is reached for that flap setting until the landing flap setting is achieved. Hi, I'm running the latest version of both P3D v4 and the PDMG 737NGX (1.20.8413). Everything is working great, except for a couple of things: a) When loading a saved scenario/flight, the aircraft loads and is in-flight, but the display panels (e.g. PFD, ND & FMC) are all dark/blank. b) The PMDG tutorial flights are not listed in the Load Scenario window (e.g. PMDG 737NGX Tutorial #2 EHAM-LOWI) I also have the PMDG 777 and saved scenarios/flights load without any issue, all the displays are fine etc. The 737 panels states are all saved in D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState and each saved flight has 3 files l…

Hello, I'm a flight sim enthousiast, I quit don't understand these parts of the auto LNAV and VNAV descent... On the first picture you see the FMC descending numbers you know what I mean... Can I have some explaining please what means the 'A' next to the 3000 and also why is after 3000 a 7000 and a 6500 feat? When I reached the T/D I put my final descend in the MCP which is at Ibiza 3000 and then I descend always with Vertical Speed above 2000 but that is not realistic? Hey NGX users, I have had NGX for years for my FSX, and in that time, I never really bothered to learn to fly it in depth. Even though I play with Prepar3d v4 a lot, but I decided to install FSX-SE with DX10 Fixer (I am floored on how smooth it runs now, with barely any tweaks). Before I learn to master my 777 for p3d, I decided let me learn NGX for FSX before I start buying other planes for P3D. Hi, I just recently purchased AS2016 and installed it in P3D 3.4.22.19868 running on Windows 10 64-bit and have performed a few test flights in the NGX. I'm experiencing quite negative affects of turbulence on the aircraft once airborne causing it to bank left and right wildly during climb, this gets progressively worse near cruise and almost impossible to maintain straight and level flight. I'm not sure if it's AS2016 causing this or something else such as FSUIPC but I have just updated FSUIPC4 to 4.97 (P3D 3.4) to try and fix it without any success. So far I've tried the following. Turn down turbulence scale, wind turbulence effects, and wake turbulence …

Noticed how I sometimes have a hard time trying to trim the a/c down. I'm using the default HOME key and no matter how many times I press this key or if I hold it down the stab trim wheel doesn't move. Trim up on the other hand using the END key always works just fine. Anyone else seen this?
