Greetings! I purchased a brand new, never before used version of the Boxed DVD version of the PMDG 737 NGX at a garage sale some time ago, and activated it on a prior PC with no trouble and many flights completed. That PC's hard drive has bit the dust sadly, but I've been able to create a new PC, and am having some difficulty installing my 737NGX onto this new machine. When I'm prompted for the activation code, I'm entering the Activation code from the inside of the DVD case just as on my previous PC, and receive an error message that the code is no longer valid. Hi, there is no check box available to mark either FSX or FSX SE during installing the 600/700 NGX in FSX.The Installation aborts.

Evening everyone, encountered a strange issue with my NGX. I installed PrecipitFX about two weeks ago, and shortly after, I realized my -700WL had gone missing from FSX and the PMDG Operations Center. It still shows in my FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes file, and I've tried a reinstall, but nothing has worked. Thanks for your help in advance, have a great day. Connor Cummings

Hello all: I'm having an issue where PFPX won't write the RTE file to the default P3D flightplan directory. I've tried assigning all rights to it, but still no luck. I was thinking of just moving the flighplat location but how do you get the FMS to path to the location I choose? Is there an .ini file i can edit or something?

Does anybody know how to use COM1 and COM2 at the same time for pilotedge and vatsim in the PMDG737? I can get them to work on there own by the mic square boxes under NAV1. I need this so i can pick up atis information while listening to the controller. P3D PMDG737 -Dillon L.

Hello, I'm trying to add mipmaps to all PMDG liveries. They are all stock liveries straight from OPS Center. Doing simple batch process returns an error, "Could not read image bitmap data". Any ideas why, and can I make it work somehow? I'd hate doing everything by hand with DXTBMP, which btw. is working. Thanks Simon

So I recently noticed that every time I retract the gear in the NGX I get this weird hollow sound that I didn't use to get. Its the same sound when you try retracting the gear on the ground except it lasts the entire flight until I exit the sim. Just switched configs but not sure if that has anteing to do with it. Any input on this is great and if it is normal. Thanks (I also get this in the 777 now)

Hello, I'm having ano issue where when I turn on the ground with my Logitech 3d pro at a GS of 15+ it turns super wide and slowly when it never did that. I have no idea how to fix this issue

Hi Guys, I am in the process of calibrating my new Virtual Fly QT6. While both throttles advance and retard as they should, and they both go into reverse, they refuse to come out of reverse. When I advance the TQ6 levers, the FS reverse levers dont drop, and subsequently, the throttles wont move. I have tried the TQ6 on the generic 737-800, and they perform as they should. I can move the reverse levers with the mouse, and then advance the throttles, without a problem. I have even tried setting up a dedicated switch, using the SDK, in the Control Stand section, which has Rev/Fwd Thrust lever event ID numbers, with no success. When I do, the little hand …

Hello. I can not enter into co-route flight plans in .ftl format, processed with ROUTEFINDER and placed in C: / Lockheed Martin / Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v3 / PMDG / FlightPlans / NGX. I click on LSK in front of CO ROUTE, you open the page with the available routes, including that of ROUTEFINDER, inserted by me, I open it but does not fire.

Hi Hope someone out there can help me. i am trying to follow the pmdg tut 1 but for the life of me cant figure out why the fmc in sim is reading different info from the document for example some pages have more in the sim than in the doc and sids and stars etc are also different even if i try another tutorial everything is different ? After I solved the issues with the autoland, I decided to start again with manual landings, but is hard because the yaw damper try to over compensate each time I slight roll the plane during the final approach making the tail of plane to wiggle too much. Hi, I'd like to enhance my immersion in the cockpit of this fine beast with some taxiway and runway bumps and jolts. Now, I've had what I reckon is a damn good look around here and elsewhere - so I know about the good Steve - who did fantastic work back in 2011-2014. RIP. And there are various library files, etc. But what I'd love is some feedback from some flyers of this magnificent bird here. I don't know whether things are airframe specific - some sound sets seem to be, others are generic to the types 600 - 900. Hi Folks! I´m in strange troubles here. I start in cold and dark and use FS2CrewNGX. When I´m on final approach, stabilized in the localizer and gladslope, all configurated to land, PFD showing "LAND3", Glare and Rollout armed, when I get the minimums assined in PFD by the EFIS, the aircraft suddenly desingages the autopilot and the autothrottle, taking a nose pitch to Go Around. Even if I myself desingage the AP and AT before reaching the minimums, when the aircraft reach the minimum altitude set it takes a nose pitch to Go around, making my land a hard one. The issue that comes next to it, is for the second flight, after shutting down and starting with APU alive, …

Hi, Using P3Dv3.4.9. 18400 ASCA+2016 on high cloud covering the HUD LCD's disapears or fading away. i dont think it is the NGX who is to blame as the Majestic Dash8 does the same. I have posted also in Hifi forum. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks Michael Moe

I am running FSX with PMDG737NGX. I have been using a hardware Virtual Avionics MCP and a single EFIS for the pilot side. I recently purchased a second EFIS panel for the FO side. However, they both control the pilot display. Is it possible to run dual EFIS panels with PMDG737, one for Pilot and one for FO? Thanks, Bob Jones

I'm having an honest mystery with autoland. When I follow the autoland landing checklist in the house pmdg NGX, I get an autoland every single time. When I follow the same checklist on any livery add-on, I get the NO AUTOLAND message at decision height followed by A/T and AP disconnected at around 500 feet. I've compared and contrasted the livery aircraft settings in the Operations Center with the default pmdg ngx and made sure they are identical. This did not fix the issue. I made sure to run the same landings several times in both house and Southwest liveries (KBNA RWY 20R) to make sure it wasn't a procedural issue, but the results are always the same. On the HGS,…

Can anybody help me.... I am using the settings option in P3D v3 to adjust my sounds in the PMDG 737NGX. My current settings are as follow: Engine: 20% Cockpit: 20% environment: 50% ATC: 75% Are these optimal settings? Unfortunately my ENGINE sounds are always so loud I can hardly hear the ATC commands. It seems no matter how low I set the Engine sound percentage it always seems too loud. Is there a PMDG setting for engine sound ?? Can anyone suggest the correct way to set up the sound setting for the PMDG 737NGX.

I was wondering if FMC takes in to account the winds (if they got programmed by the user) when suggesting a flight level or when telling if it is a good or bad idea to do a step (penalty). If yes, then i have one more reason, I assume, to program the forecast winds in every leg as opposed to using an average for the whole flight. Sometimes i am lazy and just put the average. brainstorming....FMC does not know what winds are blowing at all altitudes correct? (even if you have ASN). FMC knows only the winds you program in your route at that specific altitude so FMC is unable to recommend flight levels based on winds....I think i am answering my own question but i am …

Has anybody get any errors installing NGX into FSX Steam where theres no power to the CDU's and no function to the Overhead switches?

I have had the 737 NGX for some time but haven't used it for several years, so am just coming back to it. I use the PFC throttle and electronics console along with PFC rudder pedals/brakes and the PFC column yoke. These have worked correctly in the past and also work correctly with other aircraft. I am using the 737 throttle assy with the spoilers, throttles/reversers and flaps. I have the latest drivers, controls setup etc installed. The speed brakes and flaps controls aren't operating the spoilers or flaps. When I check them in the PFC set up console they move as anticipated but are not moving in external views.
