I am having problems with the fmc, when I first tried it, it displayed nav. data out of date. I updated the nav. data with navigraph.com now with the tutorial flight I am not getting ILS 18R runway listed at EHAM arrivals. I did get rwy. 18R listed wazzup? Bill MacLeod

Hello everyone. Hoping for some help here. Have been getting some very erratic performance in turbulence from the 737 with AS16. It's gotten to the point where I have AS16 sliders nearly set to the bottom, or have to turn them off altogether. I'd love to get these two working together seemlessly, and just wondered what slider settings for AS16 people were using. Thanks in advance. Brad Budz

I am flying these days using Pro-ATC-X. On the ramp after requesting clearance, I set the transponder code as requested but no matter which position I place the switch while parked at the bay, ATC remind me every few minutes to squawk my code. After dialing in the code, what position must I have the switch in for ATC to identify me? I know I switch over to TA/RA when entering the active RWY and then when I exit on landing, where does the switch go, back to STBY? Thanks!

Hi, Upon first loading, the aircraft moves across the ground, like it should. however, when i have set it cold and dark, started the engines, and pushed back, it refuses. I set the power to full, take of the parking brakes, however it simply wont move. the ASI thinks its moving, and accelerates, but the plane will not move. Please please help will

Really odd issue I am encountering. Ever since I purchased and installed FSUIPC I can't achieve any faster airspeed than 190 knots. Also something eles odd I notice... The wings don't flex. Is there a friction or speed setting I need to change within FSUIPC? Maybe it's not FSUIPC related at all? Thanks

So, this is not the first time i do a ILSIII landing and cannot figure out what wasn't right this time. PMDG 737, Ryan air livery, on P3D. Visibility less than 1 mile (Milan is known for think fog this time of the year). Sorry in advance for not using the proper technical terms, so I have both frequencies set on the pedestal (on the same frequency and yes was the correct one), i have both runway directions tuned on the EFIS for both me and copilot (same number). Autobrakes armed, flaps down and when i engage LOC, nothing happens (usually i do get the localizer first) and when i engage APP i get captured by the G/S but only Single CH-however when I click on both A/P button…

I just bought the PMDG B737 NGX for P3D a week ago. I understand that this is the Version 1.0.0 Is there any SP's to this version (Service Pack). I am asking because I am having problem with P3D sometimes crashing. BTW how can we paste text here. What does the RAD value mean under FIX? DIS is distance to the FIX but i cannot figure out RAD, i thought it was the "radial" meaning the direction I have to point to to get to the FIX on a 360 degree compass but it is not....what is it?

This may be a difficult issue to resolve at this point as I have not found a pattern. But if this isn't a known issue, I'd still welcome any troubleshooting ideas The problem itself is the following: At some point in the flight I will click something in the cockpit of the 737 and then the autopilot will stay on but the nose of the plane will point straight down and I must disengage the AP. After recovery anytime I select the AP again (either R or L) the nosedive will occur. I have looked for failures in the FMC and there are none. I can turn off VNAV and only use LNAV with AP and it will work. However, if I swap to any of the vertical AP options (VNAV or V/S) …

Hey guys, i painted my own livery for our virtual airline, for the B736, B737 and for the B738. The -600 and -700 works fine, but then i load the -800 with my livery i can`t move any buttons and i have black parts in the VC. Other liverys for the -800 works fine (wich i didn´t painted by myself). I recently purchased EZDOK and after fiddling with it and trying a couple of presets, I realize that I'm just not ready right now to spend a couple of hours in-game but not actually flying. I've done a clean install of my FSX directory as the built-in restore functionality was still creating weird preset camera issues. Hi, Just to inform you: There are several ways to create a so called 'Company Route' file to be imported in the FMC. Recently I found out that the filename must not contain any spaces. When spaces are used in the filename in first instance everything seems to be OK, but after saving and reloading the flight, the contents of the FMC appeared to have changed. The route is not active and the CRZ altitude need to be filled in again. After entering the required values and activating the route, the PMDG 737ngx freezes. Best regards, Jaap

Hello everyone, this is my first posting. I tried and read a lot to solve my problem, but nothing helped. The problem is, I can´t hear any cockpit sounds like pushback voice, APU, firealarms, etc. I hear engines starting and outside the engines sounds. Dear Community, I am trying to rewrite an EPIC script that works for the standard FSX planes, sending offsets to control various values. My script is sending the values itself. It does not simply send increments ("turning the knobs"). Looking at the PMDG_NGX_SDK.h, my impression is that the events only "turn knobs", but I have not found events to send values. Only the offsets in the section "MCP direct control seem to send direct values. Is this correct? I am looking for a way to send NAV and COMM radio frequencies to the NGX. Best, Holger

i Bought the ngx ages ago and i remember having the winglets ver i done a fresh pc build and downloaded the aircraft from the pmdg site i installed then open pmdg op centre try to install my livery I used to fly and it says the winglets version is not installed I cant find a winglets to download from site am given one option

Hoping someone with more external texturing experience than I do could answer this question. I don't recall the last time I've flown the NGX on my sim or have made any changes to it, but I started to notice tonight the following landing light texture anomaly at dusk: As you can see, the landing light seems to annoyingly illuminate a rectangular pattern across the fuselage texture now. This is only present at dusk, night shows the correct light pattern. This is also occurring on all models of the NGX and liveries for me. Anyone have any quick ideas before I nuke the NGX installation and reinstall? Thanks.

As unrealistic it may seem sometimes I need to change the simulation rate, and while 8X or 4X or 2X are not a problem the half time is the one I need mostly and is crashing my system. I am not sure if it is a PMDG related thing or simulator thing but for sure it happens in both FSX and P3D (now, the latter is somewhat an offspring of FSX so i am not surprised if the "bug" is in the sim and passed unnoticed from one generation to the next). Anyway, does anyone know why the system crashes on slow sim rate and if there is a fix to this? (i guess i can try a flight with a default plane and see if the issue is more on the sim side or the PMDG side). thanks

Hi, I'd like some help in understanding the APU's "air heating power". To cut the long story short, I can't heat up the cabin using the APU. I'm at the gate in a B737, on external power (no other services connected), packs off and the outside air temperature is +2°C. The aircraft loads with a cabin temp of about 22°C, which I think is saved with the panel state and matches the temperature I had when creating this panel state. I now open door 1L and the 2 cargo doors. If there's no jetway, I'll open the aft left door too. As I want the cabin temp to stay friendly while preparing for the flight and during a turnaround, I start the APU and put one pack on high, lea…

Good day, I'm practicing the GNSS approach, and I noticed that if I perform a GNSS approach in LNAV/VNAV, I don't get the distance to the Mapt in the upper left side of the PDF. I do get it if I perform the same approach in IAN. By the way, in IAN approach, the distance is given with a single digit. Should not there be a double digit precision, like 6,3 NM ? Here I just get 6NM, sound a bit weird, I will double check in the real plane tomorrow. Thanks a lot for your assistance and congratulation for this great sim. Suppose I am on a tax way and going to a the rwy requires various stops. I noticed that every time after releasing the parking brake the aircraft keeps moving even tough the trust lever is back. Is this a bug or is anything wrong with my set up ? The PMDG-777 does not have this issue. Which leads me to another question ,can I use the parking brake to halt a moving aircraft or do I have to use the foot brakes ? ( I use a Saitek throttle ) HubertWerni

I realize that the guys at PMDG have their hands full getting the revised 747 out, but I sure would like to see them do a revision for the 737. Specifically, adding a variant for the -900ER with the added fuel, weights, etc.. Delta is now flying this aircraft between LAX and HNL and in real life as greatly updated it's 900ER fleet. I wonder how difficult it would be for PMDG to do this since the revisions would have to be made to the load factors rather than to the visual model? Any thoughts or is this just wishful thinking? Thanks.
