Hi all, I've been sent here from Prepar3d forum topic url: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&p=143613#p143613 In short: if saved PMDG flight is set as default, then Prepar3d v3.4 does not run properly - either you get black screen or app dissapears. It is still visible in process explorer with about 2% CPU utilisation, 0% GPU, about 800MB vas, but you cannot bring the process into front as there is no windows available. In that case, deleting 'situation' line in prepar3d.cfg and restarting p3d solves the problem. Can you suggest how to solve or do further problem diagnostics? Hi, had a couple of problems with this aircraft not picking up on the "vorloc" and the light not illuminating on the "app" so I went in the pmdg 737ngx Aircraft config file and saw that the autopilot section said autopilot_available=0. Now I thought this should have read "1" . when I checked other aircraft configs they (the ones I knew had working autopilots like "ifly737") they all had a "1". All of the pmdg aircraft files read "0" as well as the autothrottle_available=0. The pmdg 747-400 is the same, could someone plse explain why this is as I don't wish to change anything that should remain untouched. thankyou Laurence

Hi Guys, Anyone still using this program?. Just happened on to it and find when i run it i have two problems. 1. It brings up an exception error when run and if i continue the program works but problem 2 occurs. 2. A second joystick for button assignment is not recognized. Can be assigned in program but wont switch what they are assigned to. Has anyone noticed this with version 0.98. Thanks Regards les

Hi, Im having problems making a custom bump map for the NGX wings and tail. Some areas of the wing seem to have a different spec map and show up differently even though the bump map is all the same color. The fuselage has custom bump maps and its fine. Any thoughts? Thanks

I am planning to purchase the latest FS2Crew for my 737NGX. However it says that system requirements Includes SP1d. I also would like to have the weather radar function that I believe is included in SP1. Can anyone tell me where I can get/purchase this upgrade. Hi guys, My FMC over-reads the actual fuel in the Tank by about 200lbs (0.2). With the fuel quantity set to zero through the fuel loading Page, the FMC still shows there is about 200lbs of fuel in the aircraft, but looking through fsx fuel menu and the aircraft gauges the tanks are empty. The FCOM says "PLAN/FUEL [Option – With PLAN FUEL line] Fuel on board is automatically displayed as received from the airplane fuel quantity indication system." Am I missing something or has this been addressed before?

I run FSX under Windows 10 Anniversary. When I use Shift+1 to show a pop-up window of MCP (Mode Control Panel) in 737-600/700NG (or 737 800/900NG) the panel is damaged and with non-existing knobs or non-functional knobs. What is the reason? Lars Gellner

Hi all, First a bit of a disclaimer, I know this isn't a PMDG issue I just came here because there will be a lot of people who know more about the 737NGX than I do. Hello together, I have a little problem with my NGX, wihich works perfectly for me, expect for this small problem. When I'm on an approach to an airport and pull back my throttle they go complete to idle, but then after a second or smaller the trottle in the NGX goes a little but upwards. Problem then when I touchdown with my hardware throttle pulled complete backwards, but the NGX throttle is not idle and I can't activate reverse thrust with my assigned reverse thrust lever on my hardware. I can solve it when I "shake" a little on my thrustlever back and forwards after touchdown and then it goes to idle also in the ngx and I can activate reverse thrust. So ist it a bug o…

hi all, I want to ask your opinion on something that happened to me. I was landing at KMIA when i had to execute a TO/GA because as you well know ATC on FSX is not the brightest cookie in the jar, anyway that's another story....so I execute the TO/GA and i admit i haven't familiarized very well with this procedure so i can't say was an example of perfect airmanship but anyway after TOGA, plane pitches up, I set flaps to 15 (BTW i noticed it goes ballisitic and i still need to investigate as to why) i reach 5000 feet and turn around and i start preparing for the second landing attempt. Dear comanders I got stuch with a brand new problem. P3d crashes everytime I try load a new livery weather by the downloader ou an extra livery). I trie to unistall and reinstall withoot success (I unistalled all PMDG aicrafts I had) The liveries appears on the PMDG Ops Center as correctly load. What am I to do? Regards Reynaldo

Every time I load the PMDG 737 600 and 700 variants it needs my activation code? I have to put it in every time? It does not happen for the 777 or 737 800 and 900 models. Does anyone know how to fix the issue. I looked on PMDG support page and nothing gives... Thanks in advance for help.

Hi! In Topcat there is not correct configuration for PMDG 738NGX, for this reason i created a version. The next configuration is specially considered for El-AL 738NGX (142 passengers, 16+126); however if possible make minor changes for use in another 738. Good evening, I am experiencing an annoying issue with the latest version of SP1D NGX. It appears only when I enter wind parameters for enroute waypoints in FMC. After the fifth ou sixth wind entry, both PFDs freeze… And never defreeze until full aircraft reload. FMC aren’t usable anymore, they do not freeze, but only the current page LEGS page and the next one are available. Good Day, PMDG Team I've been experiencing FMC freezing when entering the cruise winds in the LEGS/RTE DATA page. I've noticed that happens on long trips with many waypoints. In shorts trips with no too many waypoints doesn't happen this. Only the FMC freezes, i can switch from one page to another, but i cannot tape or erase anything. The FSX and the aircraft keep running normally. Any way to solve this issue? Thank you for your time.
