PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I purchased the PZ44 and PZ35 from Saitek ( using FSX in Windows 7,PMDG-737 ) Since several days I tried to set the rudder up in such a way that after pressing on the rudder pedals the plane comes to a stop. As I did not achieve it I decided to contact this forum in case somebody uses Saitek products. Saitek could not help since they are not familiar with the PMDG-737 settings. Hello, I would like to use the VNAV, but every time I activate it after take off, it takes me to FL10 where it holds the Altitude and then it engages automaticilly to the LVL CHG. When I reclick on the VNAV-Button happens nothing, there just appears a message on the FMC which says "check alt tgt" I hope you can help me. Regards

Hi Everyone! I've got an issue with my 737 NGX. Everytime during my final approach when the GPWS calls out "20" and I want to begin flaring there's a single but quite long stutter. As you can image this ruins my landing nearly everytime. I just wonder if someone did notice this issue too and knows how to fix it. BTW: I disabled transparency multisampling via nVidia Inspector but this didn't help. A big thank you! I'm looking forward to your replies!

I just recently bought my pmdg 737 nxg from the pmdg website the program installed correctly and everything eas fine. But when i run FSX with a PMDG plane there is no sounds i can only hear the engines. No APU, clicks, bell, call outs, EGPWS test sound nothing etc... i dont know what to do i need help

All of a sudden the introduction tutorial disappeared and now am unable to open any of them. Did a reinstall and no joy.

I would like to operate the ANTI-SKID switch by assigning it to a spare button I have on my controller. I have looked in FSUIPC but don't see it there - or if it is, it isn't clear to me. Additionally, is there a way to assign the two IRS alignment switches to buttons as well? Can anyone assist me in this please?

Hi Guys: I just bought the PMDG 737 base package for P3D V3 and every time I try to activate it rejects the code I was given. I am assuming the activation code is the serial number found just below the order. The other weird thing is that, although the order appears in my download page I never received a confirmation email. All, Just curious if anyone knows of a way to set a key command to bug clean maneuver, the "Up" speed on the airspeed tape? I'm thinking if it's possible it would probably be via an offset using the SDK and/or FSUIPC? Thanks...

We've all spent so much time in the VC of the 737 over the past two years, I thought it would be interesting to know, or see pictures of the actual aircraft PMDG used at the time from which the VC model was ultimately created.

A lot of people have been asking me to post up the vibration profiles I use for the dynamic head movement and the random vibration effect generator in EZdok camera.Please note, these are just the vibration profiles. They don't include any camera angles since everyone has their own preference and setting up a new camera view is easy as cake.These files are as close to realism as I could get with the limited knowledge I have of the EZdok advanced effects settings.I think they provide a nice balance between a good shake on the runway during takeoff and gentle swaying in the air from common air turbulence. I totally reinstalled everything (including OS) a few montha ago and went with FSX Steam exclusively. Very few problems and NONE with PMDG Basic or Expansion before. As of yesterday: When I load any version (700, 800, 900} there is a popup requiring me to enter my key. I do that and it validates it. Sometimes after that, everything works normally but usually the following: no buttons, switches work, or CDU goes black when I opt for any panel state. Worst case though is FSX just closes instantly and I am back to the desktop. Anyone know what is causing this? Absolutely no changes or software added in a week or more. Hi so i recently reinstalled my PC after several technical issues with it, when I came to install my PMDG 737-800/900 NGX because i had the box version i had to go through a load of trouble to get the new updated one, however i now have the service pack 1d installed. when i launch the fs2crew manager it comes up with this message. Instead of downloading a new livery, is there a singular paint file I can swap out in the NGX folder? When I dabbled in painting aircraft back in FS 2000, aircraft contained a singular paint file, swap the paint file and you got a new paint job. I am not sure if its more complex now, Im assuming it is. I downloaded the newer SWA livery, and it all works great, but all the assignments are wiped and I don't want to figure out what I've done or what assignments I've done, and all the panel settings and equipment etc.. I have throttles set to idle, yet on taxi, my 737 continues to move slowly but picking up speed forcing me to ride the brakes. Is this normal operation or is my throttle calibration off?

Kyle, Talking about DA and the B737 I got to thinking about tire limit speed. With DAs above 9,000 feet in the summer the 800 and 900 could get very close to the maximum tire limit speed on T/O from some place such as DEN. Is this something that PMDG models? With a Vref near 160, the ground speed could be very close to 190. Not sure how it could be modeled and if it really matters, just for conversation. :smile: blaustern

Bizarre problem, but it exists and it is irritatish. AP doesn't engage after take off. Everything (electrics, generators, hydraulic pumps etc) is ON, IRS aligned, LNAV and VNAV do engage and AT works, but Autopilot does not engage. This started happening after I upgraded to P3D v3.3 and back to 3.2 (it was ok with 3.3) - that's all that I did in the sim. First flight in downgraded 3.2, AP could not engage until 30,000 ft. Now second flight, again, was able to engage at 28,000 ft. Please see how to get out of it.

Just putting this out there today just incase I'm making a silly mistake somewhere. I've recently crossed over to P3D and installed PMDG 737 and fs2crew reboot. I'm not sure what's causing it but I have the throttles in idle and run through the start procedure and everything's fine. I can sit on the ramp for ages at engine idle and everything is ok. When I then go to taxi I accelerate and when I pick up speed I reduce back to idle. Then randomly the throttles keep jumping forward, I have to slam on the breaks and move my manual throttles forward and backwards. I need to do more testing but I'm sure it doesn't do it if I'm set just off of idle. I don't have th…

I am using easydok with PMDG737NGX . Would be really useful to have a separate window in plan view of the aircraft as it taxis around the airport so you can find your way around. Has anyone any ideas how to do this? BTW anyone out there remember the old Dos program AS2 by Simon Hradeki - great sim and that had the airport map feature too

My toga only advances about 10% N1 from my starting 40% when I activate it and then once airborne and my LNAV/VNAV come alive but the flight director isn't giving me anything other than an upside down T. Any thoughts? I looked around a bit and saw that a common error is not having both Flight Directors on but I can confirm that my 2 are activated.

greetings. i've had 2 flights in the past few days where one of the wing tanks depleted a bit faster than the other... starting at around 8000 lbs each, by the end of a 2.5 hour flight there was almost a 400lb difference between the two. it was kind of cool having an excuse to mess with the cross feeds to balance them out a bit, but i'd never seen that before until now, usually they stayed within pretty close range to eachother. any ideas what could cause this? as far as i know the only thing different on my system is AS2016, could that be related somehow? (previously using ASN. this is on FSX:SE). cheers -andy crosby
